You will love your stay here, everyone does!

This guest house is very clean, spacious and is very secluded with great scenery and a large hot tub exclusive to the guesthouse and large pool which only shared with the property owner. There are many great wineries and restaurants nearby.
Guest have always rated the property 5 stars.

Note: For your security and mine there are Ring cameras mounted on the outside of the main house. These cameras are activated by motion. When activated a light comes on at night so the camera can record the activity.

Perfect for a quiet getaway

Cute little guest house tucked into a peaceful wooded setting. The house was perfect for 2 moms looking for a quick weekend getaway. We had everything we needed and the hot tub in the peaceful nature setting was perfect! It was nice to know the owner was nearby but we still had our privacy too!

Nice weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is not far from most things, yet offers seclusion. The hot tub was a great addition. The place was clean and decorated. The bed was very comfy. Just a few things to note. Kitchen is minimally stocked (no can opener, not many knives for food prep, no trash bags in trash cans) and the pool was not in the best shape. The pool vacuum cleaner was left at the bottom of the pool all weekend, but did not work as there were many leaves in the pool. The pool hot tub is drained and in need of repair. Overall the place was great. We were not inconvenienced in any way just a few things to note. Will be happy to return.

Sun & Swim & Unplug

I loved how much light there was inside the house. We had the pool all to ourselves, and it was so relaxing. The bedding was luxurious. The internet was slow, so we found that streaming TV or a movie wasn't an option, which was probably a good thing.

Great pool and hot tub

Pool, hot tub and large yard were great! The bed is very comfy and plenty of pillows. Futons were not very comfy, but a twin air mattress is provided if needed. Kitchen fridge was quite small for a group of 5 adults. Overall cleanliness, pool and hot tub deserve 4 stars.

Bumpy Beginning, Relaxing Finale

My husband and I wanted to take a writing retreat where we could get away for a few days to focus on our research. Unfortunately when we arrived the WiFi was down. The owner said they had a storm a few weeks ago that had knocked it out and they hadn’t had a chance to fix it. As a result, my husband and I spent the next two days at the cutest little coffee shop called Swallows Nest. The food was delicious and they didn’t mind us working in a corner of the cafe. Thankfully, the owner notified us on the second day that the WiFi was fixed and we were able to work from the VRBO during the rest of our stay. We appreciated the cleanliness of the hot tub and nearby pool. The setting was serene and relaxing.

Little Piece of Heaven

My daughter called this stay a blue and white slice of heaven, and I agree with her. This beautiful little guest house in a peaceful setting was exactly what this tired teacher needed at the end of a school year. We felt so pampered in this luxurious setting with hot tub and pool surrounded by nature yet close to every convenience. I hope to make this getaway a yearly tradition.

Perfect Spot

We stayed here as a jumping off spot for visiting Washington MO, biking the Katy trail and for visiting Missouri wine country. We loved the secluded location, just minutes away from the wonderful town of Washington. The guest house was clean, well appointed and was tucked away in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by nature! We’d definitely stay here again!

Lovely guesthouse

Clean property and tucked away as advertised. Jacuzzi was relaxing. Eating out is your best bet, though basic, light cooking is possible.

Luxury suite

Beautiful property, the owner has taken care of every detail. We had an amazing weekend trip. The inside is decorated nicely and the quality stands out as the best we have experienced on vrbo. The pool and the hot tub were perfect. Close to wineries and downtown Washington.

Peaceful setting

I booked this property as I was going to spend three days in a silent retreat, and it looked very peaceful. The property was tucked away with a great deal of privacy and was very quiet and beautiful. There were comfortable places inside and outside to read, write and contemplate. A bit of wear, some issues with the pool cleaner not operating and quite a few leaves in the water that likely would have been filtered out if the pool system was running. It may be worth a call to the owner before you arrive to make sure the pool is ready to be used. I would recommend this location, particularly for the quiet and privacy.

Loved our stay

My wife and I stayed for several days on a romantic getaway. We took a few extra minutes to find the place, but only because most of the houses in the area are visible from the road. This house had a long driveway surrounded by trees, leading to a private, secluded area where the entire property is not visible from the road. Perfect for a relaxing time away from everything. Realistically, it is a guest house, right next to the main house. Possibly not 100% private - keep that in mind if you're expecting to sunbathe nude at the pool or something. We arrived on Monday, and we were discussing relaxing in the hot tub after a long trip, but decided we would wait, since normally from prior hot tub experience, it takes several hours or more to heat up the tub to temperature. By Wednesday, we went out to the tub to find out that it had been running the entire time we were there. No warm up time was needed. The property was clean and everything we used was functional, but we didn't cook anything, so didn't get to test the functionality of the stove. Didn't get to walk the hiking trail, as my wife is semi-handicapped and has trouble walking, so I didn't want to leave her alone. The pool was clean, except for a few tree leaves that fell into the pool. No issues with anything so didn't need to contact the host during our stay. 10/10 would definitely visit again.

A wonderful stay

We really enjoyed this guesthouse. The property is very private but close to Washington and Augusta. The building was very bright and cheerful. We would definitely recommend it!

Very Passive Aggressive Behavior from owner or whomever was in the main house

This was my wife's and my first VRBO. We specifically chose this location based on the amenities that were advertised and the appearance of privacy in the photos in the advertisement. The property was very nice and clean. Met the owner when we arrived a little early and he seemed like a nice person. The trouble came the last night we were there. We went out to the hot tub on Monday night at around 9:24 p.m. While we were outside in the hot tub we noticed there was a light in one of the rooms in the back of the house that was adjacent to the hot tub. This was the second night we used the hot tub and the main house was pitch black so this seemed a little strange to us. About 4 minutes into being in the hot tub someone flashed a light and blinked the porch light at us as if it was some type of warning. This made us feel very uncomfortable as if we were being watched, There are no rules for the hot tub that specifies attire, music, or time to use the hot tub. I took photos of the rules and it says the hot tub was expressly for the use of guest house renters so that treatment was uncalled for. It made my wife very stressed out and self-conscious. We did not know if they had a camera on us or if there are cameras on the property. My wife did not sleep the whole night and was calling around town to find a place for us to flee to. That was how uncomfortable and unsafe she felt. I do not know or care who flashed the light at us but it was very unprofessional.

Great stay

We enjoyed our time here, the only thing to recommend is a TV in the living area. Didn't get to utilize the pool due to a storm the night before leaving debris but that is not the fault of the owner

Lovely, relaxing retreat

Beautiful property, excellent service and communication with host, fabulous pool and hot tub to float and soak away your caresl privacy yet a few minutes from historic Washington with surprises around every corner. Enjoyed our getaway.

Weekend away

We had a lovely time celebrating our anniversary! The property was secluded and quiet. The hot tub was one of the best we've experienced at a VRBO. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a weekend getaway.

This is too great of property not to share with others. The guest house is extremely private even though right next to main house and it offers a lot of amenities. It is a great place to relax and celebrate and enjoy special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries.

It is also very close to many wineries, Purina Farms, Shaw Park and the Katy Trail. There is also about a mile of walking trails immediately accessible to the property for those that enjoys walking thru the woods and then coming back to cool off in the pool or relax in the hot tub.
