Little Cabin in the Woods

Little Cabin in the Woods is nestled in on 19 acres of a slice of heaven. Get away and de-stress, look at the stars, sit on the deck and sip a beverage or head into town, Hamilton's Historic Square, with great shopping and restaurants just minutes away. Also, minutes away from Circle T Arena and Crossfire Grill. For more Hill Country adventures, we are centrally located to other quaint towns like Hico, Cranfills Gap and Dublin. But you may just want to just stay and enjoy the peace at Little Cabin.

The space
"Glamping" meets Southern comfort in our Little Cabin. You will be greeted by the ever present soft country breeze, the sound of gentle wind chimes, the expansive rolling hills views and glimpses of our mini cows and free range chickens. Little Cabin will welcome you with specially chosen colors and decor, we added as many windows as possible so that even inside we sense we are still experiencing the peace and tranquility of the Texas Hill Country. We have chosen our bed linens (all cotton), bath robes, towels and blankets to continue to bring you that calming comfort. The terrain is preserved as best we can in its natural state, so expect the hills and rocks and of course our treasured wild animals. You may enjoy hearing the coyotes howl as you sit at the fire pit gazing at the stars, often the Milky Way shows itself. If you need a reset from the city, a romantic get away, a creative retreat to write or paint, or a family fun weekend Little Cabin is for you.

You may not see another person your entire stay. Parking is right by Little Cabin.

Pets - a small non-shedding dog is welcome, please confirm ahead of time and there is a small fee.

Very cute cabin. The animals were so cool to watch. Location was great, close to town but not in town. Mike and Julie were great host and very responsive.

Couldn't Be Better

I highly recommend staying at this property! The location is very cute, a perfect get-away if you live in a large city. The cabin itself is in very good condition and has a calm, homey feel to it. The hosts were accommodating and friendly, check-in was simple and I can't wait to come back!

Great Little Cabin in the woods

We really loved the little cabin so much. It was clean, quiet and secluded. It was perfect for our family of 5. We enjoyed our stay so much, and we will most definitely stay there again, next time we go to Hamilton. Thanks Michael 🙂

Chill and quiet

The cabin was lovely and private..AC, bed all wonderful. Hosts were very nice and responsive before and during our stay. Close drive to all that is needed and yet you feel secluded on your return to the property. I would definitely visit again.

Wonderful setting, great hosts, cute cabin!

We loved our stay in the Little Cabin in the Woods. It felt like we were in the secluded countryside, but Hamilton was 5 minutes away! The cabin is clean and modern and has so many cute touches that make it feel homey. Our hosts were super gracious, welcoming, and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Great getaway

Clean and cizy

Perfect place for my friend and I to meet up. Very clean, comfortable and well kept. Nice extra touches such as robes, coffee and lotion! We enjoyed star gazing at night and it was close to town and Hico as well. We will be back

Perfect Little Cabin!

Couldn't have asked for a better trip! Managed just fine without wifi or cable - great to be "unplugged". The property is very secluded and quite beautiful. The pictures of the cabin are exactly as it is in person, and even better! Will keep this choice on file for a future visit.

Sisters trip

4-50 something women on a girl's road trip. We were looking to get off the main roads and see the back country. This little cabin in the weird was perfect. In the evening we had a campfire and watched the gorgeous stars and in the morning took a quiet hike. Perfect.

Tranquil spot

We camped weekends on our property for almost 2 years, no electricity, no plumbing, no structures, only our tent - we wanted to be here so badly because we felt so much peace and restoration here. Residents of Hamilton call our city "God's Country" and we must say we agree!
