Vacation Home - Larger Home with Privacy and Scenic Views

Just a short, scenic 45 mile drive SE of the Twin Cities in the bluffs along the Mississippi River.

This vacation rental home will offer great views of the back channel of the river, with 14 acres and lots of privacy. Easy access to historic Red Wing. It is also less than a hour drive to the Minneapolis Airport and Mall of America.

Three Bedrooms and a large loft area which divides into two additional rooms. Plus 2 futons and 3 sleeper sofas offered in this spacious 3600 sq ft home.

Easily sleeps 19+ people. A-frame style home with lots of windows. Dining room with seating for 12, plus room for additional table for seating for 24 total. Updated kitchen, and sitting room with wood-burning fireplace. Large great room with TV, DVD, VCR, and lots of movie selections. Satellite TV and DSL WiFi Internet.

Basement has recreation room with pool, ping pong, air hockey, large screen TV and wet bar.

Outdoors you can enjoy the wrap around deck with views of the water. There is a gas grill, swimming pool, volleyball, basketball, tetherball, and fire pit. The home is air conditioned and heated with lots of parking. Boat launch area just minutes away. Red Wing area also has biking and hiking trails. Also can ski and canoe/innertube close by. Casino within 20 minutes.

We added an infrared sauna in 2015. Access to it is given on a case-by-case basis with a signed waiver. It will not be available from June-August while the pool is open. It will also not be provided when group sizes are above 15 people.

This is a great place to have a big gathering. Great views, your own space and close to things to do. Ken communicated well and was accommodating of our requests. Overall a great experience.

This is a great location for multiple couples or families. We had a group for a wedding and there were enough showers/bathrooms for everyone to get ready and great gathering space. There were lots of things to do if we had time. (Volleyball court, ping pong table etc, pool in summer). Only downside was the condition of certain things. If we had been there more than a weekend it may have been worth the price to utilize more of the properties value.

Ken was great to work with! It was close to the venue and Red Wing. We are a large family and it was the perfect property for us to spread out and there were plenty of activities to keep everyone busy! It was our daughters wedding so our only down side was we would have loved to have more time to enjoy the property!

The entire place was very clean and extremely comfortable. We had a wonderful time relaxing before and after the wedding. I only wish we could stay longer because of how comfortable and beautiful the location is. The view is spectacular.

My family enjoyed our stay. We had a wedding nearby, just south of Redwing, and staying here was great - very close to Redwing, lots of space to hang out, plenty of beds. My parents and siblings had a nice time, Mom even played some pool on the nice pool table! Big thanks to our host.

This place was fantastic. Wonderful bedding and mattress. So many things to do with pool, air hockey, tether bal, tons of movies, games, and multiple TVs. Great view. Saw eagles flying from the dining room table. Wonderful communication with the host. Would love to go again.

Great Stay

Ken was extremely accommodating and answered any questions that we had. The home is very well stocked and provided many extras. The location is very convenient to restaurants and stores. Our whole family really enjoyed our stay.

A great getaway!

We had a great time staying at Eagle Haven. Plenty of space for the kids to spread out. Well appointed house was all the things we needed. Great location close to all the activities we wanted. Would like to add it to our yearly rotation!

Great place for a large group

We had a great get-away as an extended family. We spent a lot of time in the pool, lots of games, outdoor toys, grill, any kind of utensils and dishes to use for cooking. Would definitely recommend for a large group wanting to get away from town, but close enough to groceries, other amenities in Red Wing.

Golf weekend 2023

We rented this house last year and enjoyed it so much we came back again this year. It’s got plenty of room and everything you’d need or want. Very close to Red Wing and plenty of golf options.

Magical

Lots of outdoor seating areas, beautiful views, fire pit, plenty of recreation options, well supplied and good beds/pillows. We visited the orchard nearby several times for fresh fruit.

We do put effort into providing good beds and pillows at the property. We have also upgraded to king beds and mattresses in the past couple of years. Glad you visited the orchard nearby. They have some fresh fruit to offer.
