Beautiful studio and surroundings, very peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The hot tub was perfect anytime of the day. Easy check in check out, any questions were answered straight away. Would highly recommend this little piece of paradise

Just a note that the electrical outlet - kitchen counter far left beside tall cupboard containing untensils/coffee etc did not work.Sweet spot, nice landscaping. Quiet. Thank you.

Enjoyed our stay here for a rainy cozy fall weekend. Big windows and hot tub were our favourite. Nice trails down to the beaches.

This place was amazing!

Heather and Bob were very responsive and if you’re looking for the perfect little getaway this is your place. Nestled in the trees and quiet, close to the beach. Great location, highly recommend.

Like having your own grown-up treehouse. It’s a beautiful property, very private, with stunning ocean views, surrounded by trees and as a bonus is pet friendly. We loved being so close to the beach. 5

Quiet Retreat in Halfmoon Bay

The location is surrounded by forest, very private and extremely quiet. The private hot tub was great! The studio exceeded our expectations, and it just as nice in person as it is in the photos. We would definitely stay again!

Lovely getaway

The location is great, easy to access, nice interior, and well-equipped. Only downside is the lack of coffee for enjoying a morning cup with the beautiful view

Thanks for the review. We do provide our B&B suites with coffee but all our other units are self catering including bringing your own favourite fresh coffee.

Picturesque and relaxing

We loved our 3 day weekend at Studio ISO. Very unique property, clean, and the finishings are high quality. Great spot to spend a long weekend. We'll definitely be booking again!

Halfmoon Honeymoon

Wonder little pocket of the world. The space was layed out with intention and detail.It was the perfect little getaway for a quiet and private relaxing escape.

Perfect little getaway studio!

We really enjoyed our stay in this studio! It was just what we needed for a little vacation. The views of the ocean was great, and the short walk down too! It’s a hidden gem with easy to access to highways to travel and explore the rest of the coast! And very happy our little pup was able to travel with us!!

Idyllic Little Escape

Can't praise this place enough. Great place for a quiet escape. You feel like you're in the middle of the woods while lounging on the couch in the living room. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Definitely staying here again.

Great Halfmoon Bay Getaway!

Every fall we head to the Sunshine Coast for a little break from the business of city life - this stay did not disappoint! We had several slow mornings with coffee, watched the stars from the hot tub, enjoyed a family movie night in the loft and endlessly explored the beach and beautiful trails around the area. The cabin is private an quiet, it worked well with two adults and our 12-year old, we hope to come back!

Amazing location, beautiful home

We stayed 6 nights in Studio ISO. The home is amazing! It’s a beautiful, modern, airy home with all the amenities. The setting is spectacular. Nestled in the forest, very private, with views of Sargeant Bay. I loved going to bed and waking up feeling like I was sleeping amongst the trees & stars. I highly recommend this property and I look forward to staying here again. Thank you Heather & Bob for sharing your beautiful home.

Happy to Vacay on Sunshine Coast

Incredible location and surroundings! Truly a special place. The home is beautifully decorated, but maybe not super comfortable. For example, the kitchen chairs are plastic and the sofa/chaise doesn’t have a real back, just pillows that slide off. The guests before us put dirty dishes back in the cupboards and broke a blind. Given that there is not AC, could have used some shade from the hot sun during the afternoons. Beautiful sand beach through a train on the property and the most comfortable duvet ever.

Happy to hear you loved the location, surroundings and decor. We love the sofabed/ chaise for its versatility, modern style and storage- an important consideration in small space and open plan living. We have one on the main floor and in the loft. Passive solar design features help with the natural cooling during our few how days on the coast and a replacement blind is on order for additional shading. Glad you enjoy some beach and great sleeps.

This is really a gem of a property in a very special place in BC. The hosts made it even more so with their attention to details, communication and beautiful building. We would come back anytime we can.

A dream escape!

Words cannot even express what a wonderful little dream escape this place was for us. It's modern and clean and embedded perfectly within nature. The design is beautiful. Our hosts Heather and Bob were top notch and got back to us immediately with any questions we had while we stayed. This place was so perfectly perfect that we want to make it an annual trip to get away. It was so perfect in fact, that my partner proposed while we were there! We will definitely be coming back here.

What a lovely weekend

Such a lovely weekend away, the house is just stunning! Heads up there’s no AC and we couldn’t find a switch for the ceiling fan but the trees keep it shady! I would most definitely stay there again, they had everything we needed for a blissful weekend!

Relaxing and Idyllic

This was a great property with beautiful surroundings, perfect to just unwind and relax. Heather and Bob were flexible and accommodating. It's a very bright place without much in the way of window coverings, so if you're a late sleeper, you may want a mask. And the upper loft is accessed by a ladder, so you'd want a bit of agility to go up there. As a "pro tip", the TV is up in the loft, so if you want to watch things on the main floor, bring a laptop and/or monitor (that's what we did) - or just enjoy the nature. We loved it, and would stay again!

A perfect retreat weekend, situated in the trees just up from the ocean

The vacation rental was amazing single mom with my two sons, rested well, bbq and great kitchen for all our meals in and we enjoyed the area hiking, and beach walks! Hosts Bob and Heather were welcoming, friendly and had great suggestions for what to do in the area.

Excellent stay

Great host and studio We loved the Studio. It was bright,clean and modern. The bbq was great for cooking easy meals and the hot tub was a nice perk.

Wonderfully relaxing getaway

Exactly as described. Modern, clean and they’ve thought of everything you’d need. We stayed 4 nts and that was perfect. We explored the nearby beaches and communities. Perfect little home base. Hot tub was fantastic. The heated floors in the bathroom were a really nice touch. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Everything you need for a great getaway

Just got back from a wonderful stay at Studio ISO. What an awesome place! Everything you need for the perfect getaway has been thought of and well organized. The Studio is so peaceful and the proximity to Sargent Bay is excellent. A short walk and you’re at the water. We enjoyed beach time at Sargent Bay and used the well equipped kitchen at the Studio to make some great meals (perfect for us foodies!). Charging our EV was right outside the Studio which we appreciated. Heather was fast to respond to any questions and the rental process was very easy. The only suggestion we have would be the addition of some blinds for the windows. The daylight they add is amazing and we really loved all the windows but when the sun comes up you know it! We would highly recommend and look forward to returning in the future.
