One of a kind custom home with exceptional views overlooking Strait of Georgia

Have some time for inner and outer exploration at this unique home looking west over the NW Pacific scenery, Vancouver Island in the background, with many outdoor opportunities at your doorstep. You will be comfortable in this spacious great room, which opens out to a view patio. Also a place you can cook in a state of the art kitchen, or barbecue outdoors, or enjoy hot tub at sunset.


This spacious upper floor has the great room with adjoining kitchen, pantry, unique sky-lit hall connects to 2 bedrooms and a den . A carpeted L shape stairway leads to a lower entry, a large rec room with views, comfortable couches and TV, full bathroom, storage spaces and double garage on the lower floor.

A beautiful, unique home filled with so many artistic touches. Then there's the view - from the deck or from the hot tub - it's all around you. Liz is an amazing host, and our week was incredibly relaxing and comfortable!

What a place! Extraordinarily beautiful property in a stunning location. In addition, the kitchen was full of essentials such as tea, coffee, oil, salt and pepper and much more, which is rare these days. Liz was a wonderful host.

Lovely and charming the details and art were incredible! Loved how quiet and tranquil the location and attention to detail. All necessities provided very easy location to get up and down coast and very helpful and kind hostesses. Would love to come back! Hot tub and pool so cool!

Everything was super clean, and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. The host was very friendly and helpful but we still felt that we had our privacy during our stay. This house and everything in it is a work of art and it was a joy just to be here and soak up the vibe.

Our 7yr old says the art was beautiful and we couldn't agree more. The entire home is a work of art. The views are incredible. The hosts were lovely. The house is spacious and well equipped.Hot tub and cold plunge were an extra treat. We would love to come back.

This is a stunning property - the interior and exterior have been crafted beautifully. The home was very spacious yet still comfortable and fully equipped.We stayed 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. We look forward to booking this home again with a bigger group.

Liz and Hal are lovely hosts! They are responsive and helpful! The house was immaculately clean and had all you could possibly need. We cooked a couple of meals and found the kitchen to be well stocked. The hot tub was wonderful with a scenic view. The beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms clean and had everything you might need. The artistry in this house is stunning! So many things that catch your eye!

An amazing property. Such attention to detail. The owners are artists and their creativity shines in every room. Very well equipped kitchen. You can’t beat the view!Very quiet and private. The hosts/owners are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. Was perfect for 2 couples.

Amazing Stay!

What more could you want? Incredible views. Close by to hikes and the Ocean. A hot tub to relax after a long hike, and a roaring fire to watch the storms roll in. We'd love to be back!

Beautiful Vacation Stay

Thank you for a great vacation it was just what the family needed. My 2 young children, husband and I enjoyed our time wading in the small pool, relaxing in the hot tub and on the patio and in the unique and spacious accommodations. There wasn’t one window that has a bad view. We will definitely be back, this place and the hosts are wonderful!

Was great, really appreciated the cold pool hot tub combo, table tennis in the basement and amazing views, lovely walks nearby. Only suggestion would be to add a few more plates to the kitchen and perhaps a few condiments to the fridge.

Hal and Liz, your hosts, are not only homeowners but also artists and builders. They designed and constructed both houses on this 4.4 acre rural property. RavenStone, the house that can be seen to the south from Grouse Point, is where they have lived since 2007, and they finished Grouse Point in 2021.

Having been intimately involved in the building process, Hal and Liz possess a deep understanding of the systems within the houses. Whether it's utilizing the high efficiency fireplace in the great room or enjoying the Hot Tub outside, feel free to seek their assistance for a comprehensive understanding of the features and functionalities of these unique properties and their systems.

The Secret Cove area is natural environment, that benefits from the sea and the mountains behind. It is usually peaceful here, and you can spend your days hiking, biking, boating , cross country skiing, all in their seasons. The community is friendly.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The property is geologically situated on a granite outcrop. Over time, glaciers have deposited materials in the lower areas, resulting in the formation of soil and forests. The southern exposure of the land has fostered the growth of magnificent arbutus trees, as well as firs and cedars.
In terms of climate, this location benefits from a moderate climate throughout the year, due to the proximity to saltwater. Being at an elevation of 300 feet, snowfall is minimal, and extremely hot weather in the summer is uncommon.
Hal and Liz, being artists and builders, also the stewards of this unique location, have strived to create homes that are in harmony with the natural surroundings.
