Beautiful family home on Lake Maxinkuckee. Main house is 4 bedrooms 3 1/2 baths, sleeps 10 adults max. & 5 kids. Guest house available for additional $250/night. Message owner if you would like to rent guest house also. Main house has first floor master with queen bed & private bath. 2nd floor has one king with view of lake, desk & bath, 3rd bedroom is large room with 2 queens, 1 twin, and semi-private nook with divider curtain to provide privacy with full bed. Large full bath off of 3rd bedroom with walk thru dressing room for privacy or can be used for baby with pack-n-play. The 4th bedroom with 2 bunk beds is off of 3rd bedroom. Guest house has additional 1 bedroom, 1 bath, sleeps 5, with1 queen bed, 1 twin & 1 queen sleeper sofa in living room, w/ kitchenette. With guest house the total accommodation 12 adults & 6 kids, total 4,400 sq feet.
House has a lot of light with views of lake from many rooms in home. Plenty of outdoor seating, large mature trees provide shade for outdoor dining. Perfect for family reunions. Enjoy sunsets with a cocktail while sitting on rooftop of boathouse. Pier with beach chairs, plenty of fun times to be shared lakeside!
Short walk to Culver Academy & golf cart rentals available nearby in downtown Culver. 4 Bikes, 3 Kayaks and 4 paddle board included.
Downtown Culver nearby offers quant small town feeling with several wonderful restaurants, grocery store, shopping, ice cream, old fashioned drive up root-beer stand and much more.

Incredible house! Excellent CMA access and improves every year!

The owners have graciously allowed us use of this property since it was listed with VRBO and as long as they allow us: we will be back every year! Makes a great hub for us while visiting our cadets at CMA with plenty of room and accommodations for large families! The owners go out of their way to make your stay great and continue to improve year over year! Thank you for sharig your wonderful home with us!

Perfect place for large family gathering

We rented this house to celebrate my grandfather’s 90th birthday. Everything was perfect. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful lake house with everything you need!

We were two families totaling 12 people. Kids ages 3 to 17. The house had everything we needed to grill, cook and play. The kayaks and lily pad were a huge hit with the kids. We spent hours playing off the dock. The house has plenty of space for everyone to spread out with lots of puzzles and games. If you’re looking for a family friendly house to enjoy this is the place! We will be returning for sure:)

Continuous Improvements, Fantastic Lake Access, Proximity to Woodcraft and CMA is Great!

This was our second stay at this property visiting our two boys at Woodcraft and CMA Upper Summer Camps and it has been improved massively! Too many to list but great additions to an already perfect property. Views of the sunset and Lakefest fireworks were amazing from the: dock, deck landing and even the house. The house itself is one of the most organized I've ever rented and the owners do a fantastic job of keeping every essential needed and more! We had a group of 5 adults, 2 cadets on permit and 1 (8 year old) future cadet and we will be back! Many thanks for sharing your home!

Beautiful views

We were very happy with the property. Very clean. well stocked with everything you will need Great Weber grill . Bikes were available for use. The separate living quarters above the garage was a nice bonus. Host answered all our questions very timely. We will be definitely be renting it again.

Lovely home, amazing hosts!

Don't miss this one for an awesome lakeside retreat. The house has all the amenities and aqua toys to enjoy Lake Max...too bad our stay was so short to take full advantage. Great layout for a large family! Thank you also to the Nikolai family for making sure we enjoyed ourselves. We'll be back!

Amazing home in an amazing place!

We had an amazing time at Lake Max and were very comfortable in Kate’s home. Her communication was excellent; the house is beautiful and very well equipped and appointed. The beds and linens are lovely, and the kitchen has everything you need. The pontoon boat, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, bikes, fire pit, and various outside sitting areas provide for many recreational and relaxation opportunities. This is definitely a wonderful place to make memories that will endure. Thanks for everything!

Stunning lakefront vacation property

This was the perfect family vacation spot. The beautiful property sits in a great location immediately on the lake- love the proximity to Culver Academy and ease of biking and running everywhere. You could easily never use your car. Inside was such a well appointed home. Everything was top notch - clean and of the highest quality -from the coffee pot, to the hand soaps, to the many provided beach towels. We made all our own meals and the kitchen was stocked with absolutely everything needed to make large meals. My adult sons loved being able to try grilling on the Green Egg! And the bedding and outstanding mattresses will be my next purchase when we buy beds! Outside it was especially fun to bike into town on their provided bicycles. We loved the large grass yard, swimming right from the dock, using the provided kayaks and paddle boards, bonfires, sunsets till dark, and going back out for the stars. Such a gorgeous view and many wonderful outside spaces for every kind of family activity. Both the town of Culver and Lake Maxinkuckee are amazing! The owners were the most responsive I have ever dealt with in renting a property. So accommodating, and helpful in planning our stay.. We would love to vacation here every time! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home! Such a treat!

WOW! WHAT A VIEW!

We loved being here! The view and location was fabulous. This house really has everything you could possibly need. The home was stocked with any and all dishes, serving ware, cocktail glasses, water activities and outdoor games you would ever need. We had three families staying. We did need the guest house to have enough private bedrooms. There are a lot of sleeping locations, but only two private spaces in the main house. Multiple hang out spots inside and outside. We had several outdoor games going at once in the side yard and had ample room, then once inside we had several board games going. Having the boat right on the property was great. You get the urge to go out, you can! If we get back to this area, this will be the house we choose! The host was very easy to work with and a pleasure to rent from. Thank you for a great Family Trip!

Weekend getaway

The area was beautiful place to stay. The house has plenty of room and everything we needed. The owner is wonderful to work with so easy to to communicate with and helpful. They even gave local recommendations of restaurants etc.

Great house with dock, lake, academy, golf access and super organized and accommodating host.

I rented this house to visit my two sons at the academy and it didn’t disappoint. It was my family of 3, with sons on permit-5 and my father and his wife-7. The house was perfect for us, super clean and the most organized host I have ever experienced. We rented the house and the boat, only used the boat twice for quick little rides and a swim but the convenience of it was more than worth it. The hosts were fabulous, left us a welcome gift with note and even dropped some puzzles by when it was raining, they are super friendly and amazingly accommodating. The house itself has multiple living and dining areas and the expansive porches overlooking the lake are a great place to take in the sunsets but are equally appealing to enjoy a meal at one of the multiple patio table options. This house made our trip a dream!
