Beautiful property, great location, convenient to both Alexandria Bay and Clayton. Our family loved fishing off the dock and while we didn’t use the pool, it was nice to have the option. Host was attentive and prompt. We would stay again for sure! Also, we loved the shuffleboard inside the cottage! Fun!

Absolutely beautiful property with views of the seaway that can’t be beat. I want to recommend this property to others but then it may make my future rental harder to obtain! The host is onsite and available for any issues or questions. Only recommendations I would make is for black out curtains in the bedrooms and hooks for towels in the second level bathroom.

Peaceful

The property and its location were amazing. Having access to the owners pool was a big plus (especially in July). Deep water access and plenty of protected dock space was great. Owners were wonderful, and the property manager was on top of everything. We would definitely rent again.

We had such a great time at The Cottage! There were a few hiccups but Debbie, Dana& Rob were quick to respond and wanted to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Which we were!The property itself is absolutely stunning! Great area overlooking the water..best seats on the property! Walk down the stairs to the huge dock. Water is so clear and clean. Able to jump right off the dock with ladders to get back on the dock . There is a picnic table on the dock but not much seating.. may want to bring lawn chairs. Use of the pool was also amazing! At one time we had 5 cars there and no issues with parking. Just to note the description is not exact as it is stated on the site. There are only 2 full bathrooms. No en suite. Technically there are only two bedrooms. One room king size bed and other bedroom is double bed. The room with “twin beds” is a small loft with 2 futons or mattress on the floor. There is another futon on the 1st floor and was told the pull outs in the living room were not too comfortable. One night there was nine of us with 2 couples sleeping together and we all got through the night! Loved the property. We did not want to leave!

Fantastic week!

We fully enjoyed the property. Hosts were very friendly including their dogs that were great fun to play with. Shuffleboard was a bonus!

Great views from many of the windows. The grounds are well manicured as well. The family loved the shuffle board We enjoyed sunsets on the dock and fun on the St Lawrence River Close to town and shopping

Had a wonderful time! Exceeded our expectations. Gorgeous, solid, masterfully built modified boat house on a beautiful stretch of the river. Amazing sunsets and Bolt Castle is within sight.

A Bay Getaway

Fabulous location right on the river in a protected part of Alexandria Bay. Easy to get the boat out from the long and easily accessible dock, and easy to get to Alex Bay for touristy activities. Home was spacious and comfortable with all the modern amenities needed. The dogs especially liked the large living spaces and the quiet neighborhood for walks.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful time and would definitely return to this spot. The place was very clean and had a great location with plenty of amenities. We had a beautiful view of the river off the porch and had a short walk to the river where we were able to keep our boat docked up. Robert was a very generous host and was always there for us if we needed him. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to be on the river.

Couldn’t have picked a better place to view the total eclipse! The place is amazing and the hosts are very welcoming….including the three dogs! Loved every minute of our stay! Thank you!

Views from the upstairs patio were gorgeous! The home was clean and well equipped. 1 mile from uncle Sam’s boat tours, restaurants and shops! Not sure why they advertise private pool. The pool is gated on to the owners private home. Overall beautiful views and close to town

This place is great!

Beautiful house in a beautiful location. I disagree with those who say you need a boat. We could have sat on the deck, dock, or at the firepit all day and just watched the ships go by. Lots to do in the area, house is close to A Bay but is quiet and private. Highly recommend.
