Cabin was perfect, clean, well equipped, warm/cozy, updated, loved it, felt like home.

Passing through

Loved the house we stayed in, quiet place in a great area. I loved Townsend and will definitely return to Townsend and hopefully this cabin if available.

Nice secluded area

Christmas in the Smokies

We enjoyed our stay! Everything was as it said! The cabin was great! We searched for a cabin after our normal place was lost in the fires and this cabin was a great fit for us! Will definitely book again! Great location as well! We love Townsend!

Nice cabin

Overall I was satisfied with my stay. The cabin was clean and had plenty of room for the 4 of us. The location was perfect. We could sit on the screened in porch and hear nothing from all the local activity (both the Bronco Celebration and the Rod Run were taking place) but we were still close to restaurants, groceries, and gas when needed. We had not been notified that the door code had been changed and were unable to enter the cabin when we first arrived. We called and the person we spoke with gave us our new code and was very apologetic for not letting us know about the change. We also had an issue with the upstairs toilet, but host responded quickly and toilet was fixed with minimal interruption to our day. A couple of minor glitches, but both were resolved quickly and we had a great vacation. Would definitely recommend this cabin.

Beautiful log cabin in the woods!

The cabin was comfortable, well appointed, and conveniently located to access the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (through the much less crowded Townsend entrance). The screened-in porch was our favorite spot; we sat out there until it was too dark to see and listened to the birds singing, watched the bunnies frolicking, and smelled the sweet perfume of the blooming honeysuckle. The beds were comfortable, every room had a ceiling fan (necessary especially upstairs where the heat definitely rose and stayed during the day), and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook several large meals. As others have said, the cabin is accessed via a steep driveway, but it's short and you get used to it. We enjoyed our time at Cedar Knob and would highly recommend it to others.
