Cottage on Clarks Creek

The Cottage on Clarks Creek welcomes you. Jyoti and Michael’s newly built, secluded abode is nestled in the woods just steps away from an immaculate watershed creek. The lodge consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath with not only a shower but separate jacuzzi tub, plus another ½ bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with all the appliances.

On the property, for your use, is a creekside, fully screened in, (not kid friendly) meditation room that is suspended right above the flowing water. The perfect spot to relax, have a meal or morning coffee. Mountain water flows through the creek making it pristine for fishing, rock stacking or floating. The Appalachian trail and Fly Fishing areas are around 1 mile from the property.

Between your getaway and the creek lives two fireplaces, one large stone fireplace with built-in seating, and the other is a smaller creekside fireplace.

Jyoti and Michael created a quiet, zen space intended for a romantic and relaxing getaway, we live next to the cottage. We will respect your privacy. If you are looking to party this is not the place for you.

Hershey Park is 28 miles and 35 minutes drive from the cottage..

Great Location

Great Harrisburg Vrbo experience

This two bed / two bath home is really well done. Everything has recently been renovated, the kitchen is perfectly stocked, wifi is great and its very comfortable. (Michael and Jyoti were great communicators as well.) The home is about 20 minutes from Harrisburg which was very convenient. We recommend Boro Bar and Grill on Front street for a great view of the river at sunset and some local craft beer.

Lovely and Peaceful

Our family (3 people) stayed over Thanksgiving weekend, it was the perfect place, such a peaceful, and serene setting. We had a full kitchen to cook and eat a big meal. Plus there was enough space for each of us do our own thing and not be on top of each other. The place was very clean, and the kitchen well stocked with utensils, cookware, etc. Would highly recommend.

Relaxing Weekend

We used this property as a place for us to relax the night before and the night after my sister's Bachelorette get away. It was the perfect place for us to watch a movie, cook over the fire, and sleep!

The amenities and the location matched with amazing hosts makes for the best Vrbo in the area! Fishing,hiking, relaxation and much more plus a close ride to Hershey Park and many other excursions! Overall an amazing experience and a perfect weekend

Better than expected!

What a wonderful, relaxing stay! My whole family enjoyed our time here and can’t wait to return! The host thought of everything and was very easy to contact. This is the perfect place to unwind and relax while remaining close to several cities and the Appalachian Trail.

Relaxing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful down by the stream with the meditation room. The sound of the running water is soothing!! The cottage was quaint, and very well equipped. The owners thought of everything. The little touches when we arrived were very tasteful.

Memorial Day weekend

A peaceful oasis in Dauphin

We could not have been happier with our stay at Michael and Jyoti's cottage. Every element of the cottage has been thoughtfully decorated and organized; the meditation room and beautifully landscaped trail by the creek elevated our stay beyond our expectations. My family needed a 2-bedroom place to stay while helping my mother in Halifax with a project. This property was clean, convenient (compared with staying in Harrisburg) and just what we needed. The setting was so lovely, private and peaceful. Michael was friendly and helpful and not intrusive.

An oasis of calm

The Cottage on Clark’s Creek was the best weekend getaway we’ve done! Michael and Jyoti are impeccable hosts and their property just oozes calmness and tranquility. Me and my partner were looking to have a weekend stress free and away from the city and that was just what we had. Could not recommend this property enough, we are hoping to coming back soon!

Beautiful, relaxing stay

Book this place! It's even more beautiful in person. This was the perfect home for a relaxing weekend getaway. Michael and Jyoti were gracious, communicative hosts, who provided lots of thoughtful details and recommendations. The house is modern and stylish, while still cozy and welcoming. Beautiful area, close to some fun hikes, cool shops, and great restaurants.

This place is amazing! It was just as pictured and it was quiet and peaceful! Just what my family needed and the hosts were so kind and sweet and they made sure we had everything we needed!
