This cute, cottage-style single-level home offers comfort and convenience with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, perfect for families. We are also pet friendly.

Nestled beside pristine, trout-stocked Stony Creek, known for its exceptional clarity and minimal agricultural runoff, this retreat sits at the base of a private mountain in a quiet, nature-filled setting. Guests often spot deer, eagles, and majestic blue herons, making it a true haven for wildlife lovers.

Outdoor adventures are right outside your door. A nearby trailhead connects directly to State Game Lands, stretching all the way to Indiantown Gap and Memorial Lake—perfect for hiking, biking, fishing, and wildlife watching. 5 stars all around for the Heron House and the hosts. Perfect location, all the necessities, and a wealth of info both at the house and directly from the gracious hosts. We will definitely be looking to stay here for the next visit to our hometown.

Clean and cozy. The nostalgic decor was so fun to look at. The creek behind the house was also a delight, you can explore it directly or quietly observe from the deck. Great location as well, nearby grocery and restaurant and short travel to many attractions.

Excellent Stay! Would stay again. Was as described or even nicer. Very clean - fully updated - was like a new home. We were 4 adults - all comfortably fit during our 3 night stay.

This is THE cutest little home, on a peaceful little spot on the river. Beautifully decorated and many thoughtful amenities. We absolutely loved our stay here. 10 stars!

Wonderful hosts with a clean, updated, thoughtfully stocked home on special setting. The location was the perfect distance to all attractions on our list. Beds comfy, landscape magical, area was nice and quiet. Not much more we could ask for. We thank you both very much and hope to return very soon.

Definitely one of the nicest vacation homes we have stayed in! Great house; spotless and stocked with whatever you need. Very comfortable beds.The setting is nothing short of amazing! House and setting are exactly as depicted online, Wayne was very accessible and responsive. We would certainly stay here again!

This property along Stony Creek was exceptional. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, super clean and a beautiful deck/yard for relaxing. We were in town to attend an XC race at Hershey Park (about 1/2hr drive). Wayne was a great host and you can tell they thought of every detail when decorating and outfitting the space. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again. Thanks!

Clean and spacious

The house was spotless and roomy yet felt homey with the decor and photographs highlighting the local area. All the appliances and cookware were in perfect condition. I would suggest taking the time to back into the driveway for easy exiting. Be sure to visit this property again after the deck is finished.

This house was above and beyond what we needed and expected! It was great! Clean, cozy, and very modern. Everything you could want or need. We were there for 10 nights. And it was close to where we needed to be each day. Beautiful stream behind the house. Wayne was a great host and very responsive. Highly recommend.
