Weekend Trip

Perfect house for a weekend getaway. Private enough but still very close to all the attractions.

Lucky 12 Ladies

A getaway trip with a group of friends and co workers.It was definitely worth it! The cabin was gorgeous,surrounded by nature to relax and enjoy an evening fire.We would definitely come back here.. Another Bucket List checked off

The master bedroom has an odor of sewer gas that gets significantly worse as the heat comes on in the bathroom. The master bathroom seemed to be the main source of heat and the vanity top got so hot, our deodarants melted.... needs a vent cover that you can close. When using the main floor fireplace to the point that the thermostat doesnt call for heat, the downstairs gas firplace doesnt work well enough to even remotly warm that space.

Lucky 12

The bathroom in the upper master bedroom had hair in the shower, water didn’t stay warm long enough and water pressure was terrible.Blanket in the bedroom had yellow stains and the room downstairs had old fingernails on the floor. The house had a lot of kitchen appliances.

needs a refresh

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Nice location,good size yard. Fire pit was great Taylor Made was quick to resolve an issue with the hot tub. There were issues with overall cleanliness of the home - beds and baths were fined but the common areas were filthy. The property needs a refresh - carpets stained, furniture ripped, grills rusted out and potentially dangerous, walls need touched up. We have stayed here 2 years in a row but not sure we would be back unless updates are done.

Zero communication from Taylor Made

The home is nice, great location, could have been cleaner in spots, especially ground floor level but not horrible or anything. The issue was with the WiFi being dead the whole weekend. Deep Creek has a lot of dead areas for cell as well so lots of useless devices. We called Taylor Made three times for updates and never got a return call. Being unplugged for three days did not ruin the trip but one kid had college homework to do and could not, and calls from home were missed that were important. WiFi has become like any other utility and at least a call back would have been nice. We did call their 3rd party IT remote support group also, they correctly IDd the problem as being with Verizon’s box, and that they did not support fixing that. Again just return our call.

Great layout for a family vacation and close to everything we wanted to do. The ONLY unpleasant thing was the big windows leaked during a brief rainstorm.
