Although there were a few minor issues, the views of the ocean and the pool from our balcony more than compensated for them. It was a little smaller than I expected but was large enough for us. I loved the Tiki bar and ice cream shop.Golden Sands is a beautiful resort.

We had a great stay. The place was clean and well put together the condo staff was amazing and very friendly had a bunch of activities on the property parking was easy and close by the beach was very clean and well taken care off

Absolutely great place to stay!

Great location, awesome view, the place was so clean and had everything we needed! Host was easy to communicate with as well. We will be back for sure! Thanks for the stay!

Condo was very nice, stayed at the building before so already knew my way around. Asked the host for the WiFi password and they never responded back to me. No information on what to do with the bedding or the towels, but over all great view and furnished well

Great getaway

Stayed from june 13 to june 20 view of ocean was beautiful access to beach very easy had alot of things to do right where we were staying overall great vacation!

Clean and great location

The room was clean and the view was amazing!!! The beach at this location is perfect and makes the stay!! The room is a little dated but totally acceptable!

One weekend stay

This is our 3 year staying!! Absolutely love the Host and her properties!! Beautiful views and love the Tiki bar and the crabcake!! Will be back next year!!

We thoroughly enjoyed all that this condo had to offer. The views were spectacular and the location is great. The host was responsive when needed. The bed was comfortable. We had a good experience but our first impression of the condo was that we wished the floors were mopped before we arrived and that the glass throughout the condo was wiped down.

Already booked again for next year

We have been going to ocean city for the past several years. Last year we stayed in another unit in the Golden Sands and fell in love with all the accommodations the building offers. This year we found a different unit and it was perfect! Great parking spot right along the cart path to the beach, comfortable king sized bed and couch, great balcony, and clean! Everything was so great we already reserved the same unit for next summer and plan to do the same for years to come!

This place is in a great location. It was very clean and had great amenities. The bed in the bedroom is very comfortable the pullout couch on the other hand was not. The couch itself was very comfortable and we weren’t in the room often so it met most of our needs. The shower is updated and very nice. Some of the furniture was broken and the door to the washer and dryer was difficult to open and close. The beach chairs that were provided definitely need to be replaced but aside from that it was very easy to walk down to the pool or the restaurant or the shop to grab last-minute items without leaving the property. The flooring in there was very nice. The mirror in the living room probably needs to be taken down and replaced and the appliances could be updated. The freezer was very cold and made ice very quickly, which was nice because there were three ice trays. The drinking cup situation could also be improved upon. As someone that lives in a vacation destination on the Emerald coast but is also from Maryland and spent all of my childhood vacations here overall I think it was a good place to stay for just me and my daughter but not too sure how the price compared to something a little bit nicer.

Place was nice and we had enough room. There was sand all over the condo and balcony but otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

June vaca

Overall our stay was very good. The location and amenities were great. One area in need of of improvement is the couch. The pull out couch needs to be replaced because the mattress/ bar underneath is bent. Unfortunately, not a very comfortable sleep for my daughters. A suggestion for improvement is to possibly provide a Kerig Coffee maker to guests for quick convenience in the morning. The linens and towels being provided were a plus. Thank you...We enjoyed our stay.

Great location awesome views!

The location was very convenient and the beach views were amazing! We had some awesome moons at night and watched a beautiful sunrise. The hotel had a ton of amenities which was great. The only negative was the mattress in the bedroom was not very comfortable and I wish the sheets and comforter were a bit softer and nicer. The place was good enough but needs a little updating, or TLC I would say. The view from the living room was amazing but the sun was very bright during the day & made the place hot bc there were no blinds on the sliding door. We were able to check in a little early so that was nice and the owner messaged me right back very quickly. Would recommend and go back for sure!

Just ok

Minimal and I say minimal accommodations. The entire unit has not been updated or touched since circa 1985. The furnishings and kitchen utensils are garage sale specials. The building is wildly outdated and the elevators and Wi-Fi are horrendous. Check google for ratings on Golden Sands, a lot to learn.

Not so clean

Units views were very nice. Unit was not cleaned prior to arrival . Sand was everywhere, tv had hand prints from child from whatever child was eating, mirrors dirty, microwave dirty balcony had 1 chair,etc. would not recommend renting this unit

Hi Stephen, first thank you for staying with us. I’m so sorry about your experience, but if you had let me know when you arrived I would have had a cleaning crew come back. The unit was cleaned and new linens but sometimes they can miss something. I had no idea though as we never heard from you so please if you ever stay again feel free to reach out with any issues and we will make them right. Thank you!
