Sip coffee on the back porch while listening to the creek or curl up on the couch and watch the flameless fireplace crackle. Take a soak in our newly refinished 106 year old bathtub with creek views from the second floor window. Explore our property and see what kind of beauty North Alabama holds! Worried about connectivity? We have Fiber Internet that is blazing fast along with a Roku TV so you can keep up with all your favorite shows via Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Prime Video!

We have a fully stocked kitchen complete with pots/pans/utensils so whether you want to whip up a meal or just toss a frozen pizza in the oven we have you covered. Also we have an outdoor grilling area complete with Large Big Green Egg... come throw some steaks or chicken on the grill!

Master bedroom has a Queen bed, Guest bedroom upstairs has a Queen bed, and the loft bedroom has a Full size Antique Rope Bed we restored! All new mattresses, pillows and linens as of March 2021.

We had a very relaxing and peaceful stay. The creeks was amazing to listen to as we sat by the fire, and beautiful to watch when sitting on the back porch with coffee. We definitely recommend this place if you're looking for something that feels secluded but isn't far town.

Place was beautiful, was kinda surprised that it was not as clean as I prefer. Pretzels on floor when we got there, inside oven had pieces of food in it, place needed a good dusting. We were left 3 towels no washcloths. The mini splits cool good but are incredibly loud especially in master bedroom. Outside needs some upkeep, weed eating, chairs around fire pit were very dirty and cob webs everywhere on back porch. There is no garbage can in kitchen so have to go on back porch to there any trash away, lights on back porch where not working. This is a beautiful place it just needs a really good cleaning, and please leave towels and washcloths.

Wonderful! The cabin was somehow both cozy and spacious, and so very comfortable. Its uniquely placed closely to cute cities and landmarks, but still felt like the wilderness. The only thing i would warn those not familiar with log cabins is that the sound travels freely! The host provided white noise machines in each room, and we didn't figure out why until we got there. I would definitely stay again, it was perfect.

Relaxing getaway

We had a wonderful two-day stay in this cozy cabin, nestled in nature. The soothing sound of the creek flowing just behind the cabin made our experience even more relaxing, creating the perfect retreat for unwinding and reconnecting with nature.

The cabin and location were perfect. We enjoyed the creek so much! The owner was friendly and all the little extras was a delight! We loved our stay and will definitely book again.

The cabin is just an absolute gem! There were some minor issues (for example: wasp nest in/under porch lanterns, water heater too small to fill tub with warm water, etc.) but not enough to rate the cabin a 4-star. We would absolutely stay again without question. Love it.

Two night weekend getaway at the Creekside Cabin did not disappoint. The cabin was exactly as advertised and communication with the owner was quick. We would stay here again.

Great getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s very clean and quiet. The only thing I would recommend was for you to bring your own bath towels and wash cloths. I feel like we spent 2 days at the little house on the prairie.

Awesome Cabin

Wanted to get away from the city for spring break and this cabin was perfect. Camp fires and a stream! Good memories.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

My wife and I were both raised in the "Shoals" area and when we found this property we knew we could restore it and make it into an awesome spot for our friends and family to use! It had been abandoned with no power or water for 17 years when we bought it. We spent about a year clearing land and restoring and updating the cabin to make it as comfortable and welcoming as we could without losing all the charm of the historic log cabin. Even though this cabin makes you feel as if you are out in the middle of nature, Downtown Florence is a mere 15 minute drive away! Or head into Killen for groceries, gas, snacks etc. that are all less than a mile away.

The views and sounds of the creek from the back porch will be so relaxing! Sit on the porch swing or around the firepit while your kids or grandkids play in the creek and explore nature! Let your inner kid out while playing and building dams in the creek or bring your family to make some memories that will last a lifetime!
