Another great week in Watch Hill

So glad to be back in the Ice House! Our small family enjoys this cozy cottage in just about the best location imaginable. The owner was attentive as always, and the kitchen and bathroom are stocked with what you need. Thanks for a great stay!

Wedding & Beach

Cottage is charming. Doors do not lock. Stairs to 2nd floor are treacherous. No blinds on the windows so no sleep after 6am. Probably not the best choice for a wedding weekend. We were uncomfortable leaving valuables in an unlocked property. But the host was gracious and Ice House is sweet.

Hi Don, Sorry you had trouble with the locks - they work fine (keys on counter) but we just don't use them to make it easier for guests to check in. We recently added black out drapes in the bath and MBR, but down stairs is more open to let in light....sorry if it was hard to sleep in the living room. If I know a guest will be using the pull out I will add some sort of blind in there in the future. Thanks for staying and for your thoughtful comments.

This cottage was the perfect stay for me and my daughter. We had the best girls trip ever and made lots of memories. The location cannot be beat! Watch Hill is one of the most beautiful places ever, and we will definitely be back. The house is well stocked, and the host is very communicative! Thanks for a great trip!

Lovely, Relaxing Vacation!

Wonderful location and access to the beach and Watch Hill village. Setting was quiet and private. Thankful for mini washer and dryer- made keeping up with towels convenient. Water preasure great in shower and plenty of hot water. Hosts pleasant and helpful. looking forward to a repeat visit!

Location location location

The whole process was simple from start to finish. I had a few contacts with the host and she was fabulous answered all my questions and was a pleasure to deal with. The house is old but it is charming and quaint. Plenty of room for my sister and myself we chatter on bedroom the outside deck is wonderful and you can feed a four block walk to the beach. The house is in very quiet secluded area and it night or we heard with the waves crashing in the morning or we heard with the birds chirping

Charming home in a great location!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It couldn’t have been in a better location, convenient to both beach and town yet peaceful and quiet. Our only disappointment is the bathroom. The shower and sink were difficult to use.

September Trip

We have been coming to watch hill for decades. Our visit was very enjoyable with stellar weather; ice house was located well between town and east beach..walking or biking great. Dogs loved their walks. Sunsets on napatree and over harbor most beautiful. Ocean swims and several local meals, spa, golf, simply outstanding. A perfect end to summer.

Lovely Antique home close to beaches

We had a good stay for the week. Very close to 2 different beaches. Home was full of cute antiques. Great General Store down the block. Overall great town.

Perfect Location

While we would have changed the decor of the house, it is absolutely the perfect location. We enjoyed living in Watch Hill for the week.

Cute place in central Watch Hill

What a great place! Stayed here the week before Labor Day with my family and dog, and it was the perfect beach cottage. It’s just the right size for a small family. Less than ten minute walk to the beach and to the shops around the harbor. You can leave your car and not have to worry about parking in a lot. It was very clean and has a fully functional kitchen and bathroom. WiFi would be slow if you’re trying to work from here but is just fine for vacation. Great deck with sunset views of the harbor. I rated it four stars for accuracy only because I think the pictures actually undersell how nice of a place it is. Stephanie was very responsive to communications. We would definitely stay here again!

Best week ever

In this world of urgency and angst a week at the Ice House was exactly what was needed for our family to relax and decompress. Stephanie and Blake are genuine and kind hosts. The cottage was charming. On hindsight we should have secured two weeks! Can't wait till next year. I almost don't want people to know of this hidden charmer!
