Great location with excellent fishing nearby. Very nice cottage. Dock was good for our boats. The chest freezer was a big plus as it made ice management very easy.

Very nice property in a excellent location, owner was great to deal with. Owner went out of his way to help out with supplies we overlooked and even helped with fishing spots. Cabin was spacious and had everything we needed also rental boat was great.

This is our 4th year in a row staying at the island and it never disappoints! Amazing location, accommodation and Larissa and Jesse are great to deal with.

Great trip!

This is our third visit, and as always the owners were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Fishing was great and we really enjoyed our stay.

Just an incredible location. Very remote and private, yet also a convenient boat ride from both Kenora and Bare Point. The hosts are very helpful and available as needed. Great swimming right off the dock!

Beautiful and comfortable week stay

Our party of 5 had another great trip to LOTW. Fishing was great and the Owner’s improved aspects of the cottage to make it even better. Great communication and can’t wait to go again.

Wonderful Stay

Wonderful and peaceful place that we were able to unplug and have a wonderful time. Larissa was very quick to communicate with any questions we had. Will definitely stay again.

Fantastic stay - Fun and relaxation

Beautiful, quiet, and well-appointed cabin with remarkable views and access to activities (fishing, swimming, kayaking, more), and comfort. Larissa and Jessie are great hosts and have a wonderful and welcoming family. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning!

Great Cabin Experience

Amazing island retreat!

We were visiting family friends on a nearby island and the hosts made it the easiest nicest trip! The house has everything you need and more- in total seclusion, turtles and eagles and pelicans, but with all of the amenities you need. Can’t recommend highly enough. If we ever come back to LOTW we will definitely stay there, and recommend to others!

Perfect!

Jesse and Larissa are wonderful hosts and the cabin is accurately described in the photos and description. Very clean and comfortable. Our family had a great vacation with lots of time together for swimming, fishing, and exploring the lake. Really amazing place, we loved it.

Vacation time

We really enjoyed our stay on Eagle Island. Fishing was slow at first but we managed to have 2 great fish frys. We really enjoyed swimming off the dock and highly recommend this place. Short boat ride to town. Hosts were awesome.

Great Fishing Trip!

Stayed with a few friends and two teenage boys. Cabin was excellent and hosts were great. Communicated with us throughout the process and made everything easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our week. Thanks!

Excellent experience

We were very happy with our stay. The owners were very responsive and helpful. The fishing was great as always. Plenty of space for the eight of us and docking area was perfect. One suggestion our group thought would help in our situation is a small freezer for fish. Overall a great experience. Thank you!

Perfect Island Stay

This was our 2nd time here to enjoy LOTW. Great spot to get away for the week. Everything you need to relax and take in the lake for the week. Nice dock for fishing and kids (adults too :)) to swim and jump. House is in a sheltered cove so swimming and enjoying the lake is safe and smooth. Bonus: hot tub and wood stove to warm you up if needed. Amazing hosts! Would tell anyone who is ready for a great get away to book this house.

This is a great property! Beautiful location and views, with a wonderful comfy cabin to stay in. The solar power set up is excellent. You would never know you are off grid. Great internet speed and cell reception. Very peaceful setting. Not a lot of boat traffic, but the marked boat routes with bouys are just around the corner for easy access. Nice dock set up for leaving the boat tied up out of the wind. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone interested. We would definitely stay here again.

Another wonderful stay!

This was our second year staying here and it is without a doubt our favorite family vacation spot. The communication with Larrisa and Jesse is always excellent. We had lots of swims, caught lots of fish and enjoyed how peaceful and quiet it is around eagle island. We set crayfish traps off the dock this year and had our fish crawfish boil. We even saw a common snapping turtle with headlamp just off the dock one evening.
