Comfort is key and we want you to indulge in our brand new cabin where nothing has been overlooked.

*Please note, this home is not suited for anyone with mobility issues. There are stairs to the cabin & to the dock.

Our luxurious cabin has three bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms & is fully equipped with BRAND NEW EVERYTHING!

Internet, satellite, new comfortable beds, pillows, bed sheets, appliances, dishwasher, washer & dryer, barbecue, large granite breakfast bar & large deck with table & chairs. The large wrap around deck is for you to lounge & enjoy the view

Please note this is not a fenced in property it is located on the water & on rugged terrain.

Sit by the campfire and relax or hike tunnel island and all the amazing trails near by.

Water levels are very low & dock to your boat/canoe is a ramp, use caution. We have added a railing.

Home is on 3 acres of rugged terrain and children and dogs must be supervised.

Magic

This place is Magic. Wonderfully positioned on the Winnipeg river system. We enjoyed fishing off the dock, lounging on the deck, hiking local trails and unwinding from our busy city life schedule. Would definitely rebook in the future.

Breathtakingly Beautiful!

I kind of don’t want to tell anyone else about my stay because I want to keep this gem of a place all to myself!!! Tina is an incredible host and made the entire experience so easy. I feel like she genuinely cared about us and wanted us to enjoy our vacation as much as they would want to enjoy their own. The home is gorgeous, it has everything you could possibly need and then some! The dock/river is perfect for all of the water activities we love to do (paddle boarding, swimming, fishing, pontooning, sunbathing, reading… the list goes on!). And that view you get to wake up to every morning!!!!! We are already booked for next summer! Thank you Tina! You and your home are very special! ☀️

Beautiful views with amazing accommodations

Eagles flying past the amazing South facing view of the mighty Winnipeg River. Very well maintained and equipped home. It was a pleasure to cook and enjoy the snow with the family! Therapeutic and mesmerizing just to stand on the deck and try to take in all the beauty of this spot!

Stunning modern cabin and great location!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful and modern cabin which had so much to offer. Large open space with lots of natural light and good sized rooms. The location was perfect. It is private and peaceful along the lake, yet still very close to Kenora making it desirable and easy to run into town if needed. It was well equipped, clean and the owner was very accessible and great to work with. Highly recommend!

An experience worth every penny !

We stumbled across this cottage rental as we were trying to find available rentals in the area. The previous rental we were at was going to end and my sisters dog had gone missing. The owner was extremely empathic, Accommodating & kept in touch during the stay, to make sure we found our dog. I wish we would’ve found this place first, we were blown away as we made our final approach in the drive way. The cottage is nestled into a private piece of paradise. The cottage had giant floor to ceiling patio doors on the entire front, including the master bedroom, my favourite room with en-suite. I woke up every morning feeling like I was in heaven. A wrap around deck and stairs leading down to the lake. The cottage is well decorated, spacious and clean. We felt we were at home the moment we we walked in. The view of the river is GORGEOUS, there is a bald eagle nest across the river from the cottage, that is on untouched, beautiful, crown land. This home is 100% worth it. We would love to stay again and are even considering building in the same area, as we are so in awe of the place. Thank you so much Charney’s for sharing your beautiful family cottage. Beautiful, modern cabin with amazing views

We could not have asked for a better place to stay on our vacation. This cabin has all the modern amenities you could need, on an extremely private and beautiful plot of land just a short drive from Kenora. We had a lovely week relaxing on the dock and kayaking around the river. Would definitely return!

Great cabin a short drive from Kenora

Communication with the owner was always fast and friendly. The cabin is new, clean and in great condition. If you plan on making a campfire bring your axe or hatchet. Overall beautiful cabin with a fantastic view of Winnipeg river.

Fantastic family vacation

We were extremely fortunate to fnd this place. Very clean, super convenient, great fishing right off the dock or a little boat ride either side. My wife is very picky but she was super comfortable here. Very close to Kenora. We will be back for sure. Thank you Tina.

Beautiful getaway with great fishing

I cant express how happy I was to stumble upon this place to stay. The location is perfect to be away from it all yet you are close enough to go into town for anything you might need. If you have any questions the host was very quick to respond and easy to work with. The house is beautiful, well decorated, very clean, and nice and spacious. On top of that you cannot ask for a better view to wake up to every morning. We planned this trip mostly for a fishing getaway and wasnt disappointed. We caught tons of walleye, northern, and bass and didnt have to go far for any of it. Overall it was the perfect place for a vacation if you love the outdoors yet want some modern amenities to make life easy. Will definitely consider staying again in the future.

Beautiful waterfront cottage with all the amenities of home

We had wonderful time with our children and grandchildren. We even had Baba out for a couple of days The property is beautiful. The stairs were a bit tough for Baba, but we made it work Would definitely go back! The owners were really prompt at answering questions

Beautiful property and location on Winnipeg River; some ammenity improvements required

The location, property and house are all amazing. We enjoyed spending most of our time outdoors, and the dock location is perfect for mooring your boat and provided access to a wide variety of areas on the Winnipeg River. The house is beautifully designed and functional for a family group with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms - the TV set-up in the living room is excellent; and the AC keeps the temperature in the house comfortable in the summer. I would recommend this property to others and would stay at this property again, however I would also recommend some amenity improvements in order to keep the house up to the standard we would expect (1) new patio furniture is needed - there are only 2 plastic chairs available on the deck as the other chairs and tables have been destroyed over time. Plastic chairs are not what I would expect to match the high quality of the house, and the location lends to spending most time outside. We ended up buying some to use there and then took them back home with us (2) additional kitchen supplies are required, as there were limited glasses available (I assume these have also been broken and not replaced over time) and limited utensils as well (3) new kitchen and bathroom towels are required - the ones in the kitchen were too mildewy to use and I bought our own dishcloths to use; and some of the bathroom towels also smelled of mildew (4) it would be helpful to have both full Propane tanks provided for the BBQ and also firewood available on site - as per the owners information, both of these are available in town, but I would recommend that these be provided for guest use vs. needing to pick them up. One additional comment - there is not a convenient boat gas station available by this location; you can launch your boat at Perch Bay but they do not have gas available - we ended up buying and filling 2 - 25 gallon jerry cans to refill our boat. Overall we gave this a 4 star rating, however it could easily be a 5 star with a few changes!!

Beautiful property with a lovely view of the Winnipeg River

We had a wonderful week in June at this very lovely cabin which has a well equipped kitchen and deck with wonderful views of the Winnipeg River and is conveniently close to the town of Kenora. I would definitely stay here again!! There are stairs so you need to be able to get up and down stairs to access the lake.

We found a gorgeous private lot nestled in trees with outstanding fishing right in front of our property & swimming off the dock! We knew this is where we wanted to build our cabin. The views are amazing and serenity awaits.
All conveniences are a quick drive! beach, restaurants & coffee shops, grocery store, gas station located near by.
