Lakefront Northwoods getaway on clear Curtis Lake, just minutes from downtown Minocqua!

This spacious 2,100 sq. ft. home features 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and sleeps up to 14. Set on a private wooded acre, it offers a relaxing lake setting while still being close to restaurants, shopping and everything Minocqua has to offer.

Enjoy direct lake access, a private dock, kayaks, rowboat and lakeside firepit. Curtis Lake is great for swimming, fishing and exploring the water, and the screened gazebo provides a great spot for outdoor dining and relaxing.

Inside, the open-concept great room features soaring ceilings with plenty of space for families and groups. The fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances and everything needed for your stay. A separate 300 sq. ft. game room features an 8’ Brunswick pool table, games and a 65” 4K TV.

The location was close to town. However, if you want to be on a lake with a quiet view, this isn’t it. There was a busy road right next to the lake area. There were a very long list of things broken. It was very dirty. The bunk beds were broke so someone had to sleep on the floor. The upstairs shower leaked into the bottom bathroom. Very disappointed.

Plenty of room for our family to celebrate our parents 50th anniversary. Access to the lake was wonderful, the boat and kayak were a hit with the kids. We had a fire both nights in the spacious fire pit. The only thing lacking was cleanliness. The fan occasionally dropped down chunks of dust, both sets of stairs were very dirty and the extra mattresses/cots left lots to the imagination. We would have giving it 5 stars otherwise. If properly cleaned, we would definitely stay again!

This property is not clean. From the mouse poop on front steps to the ratty furniture,the garbage on beach and yard to the basement playroom. The air cool towers were filled with dust and debris . We had problems right away with odors from a maggot filled dumpster . We needed six cots for kids and each one had broken metal pieces at the hip . The refrigerators had not been wiped down and most pots and pans were scratched. We had 14 people but not 14 bath towels. Most of the game room in basement were Un useable …. As is the paddle boat owner advertised to us . Owner probably was aware also that Minocqua Prime restaurant had closed 3 years ago!

Lovely Stay For XC Skiing

While the snow was not as abundant as we had hoped, the locations proximity to Minocqua Winter Park was perfect and the space was warm and welcoming.

Convenient location

Easy water access in a beautiful location- close to the highway for quick trips to town and the grocery store. The house was very well stocked and appreciated all of the helpful labeling and cots to help configure sleeping as we needed. Our group enjoyed the kayaks and evening fires outside.

Great Place to Relax!

Traveling with a group of our church youth to a student competition, we needed a place to spend the night. This house was EVERYTHING I dreamed it would be. With plenty of space, lots of activities to let the teens relax after a long road trip, and very nice layout! We loved it! Super comfortable and reasonably priced.

Great location!

We were in town for a youth baseball tournament and the location of the house was just a few minutes away, which worked out great for us! We loved everything about the house and all the things it had to offer during our stay! The property manager is also great to work with, very responsive!

It was wonderful!

Excellent weekend getaway for group of young adults! House was fully equipped with everything we could’ve needed and very cleanly. Spacious enough to spread out and enjoy one another’s company. Highly recommend and hope to be back,

Family vacation

We had a great time at Josh's place. He was super easy to communicate with and his house was amazing. We enjoyed family dinners on the big long kitchen table and loved having hang out time around the fire! Would definitely recommend this house for a nice family vacation!

Lake House

We enjoyed our Minocqua stay! The lake is gorgeous and house holds up to all the pictures shown. Lots of little touches made our stay extra easy: coffee k-cups, tons of towels, extra roll away beds that can be placed in the closets of the bedrooms to help, plenty of fans to keep the bedrooms cooler. The kayaks were so fun to use out on the lake but the paddleboad's rudder wasn't working. Easy fishing from the dock was a great bonus too.

The property’s location is excellent. Close to grocery stores, lake minocquoa, bear skin trail head. The kitchen has many items you may need and a spacious fridge/freezer. There is a pub you can boat to in lake Curtis but the lake does not allow for motorized boats (lake is quite small). Fun for young kids and playing around. The fire pit outside is nicely setup. The host was responsive when there were concerns.

Amazing!

Josh’s place was awesome! We came with a large group, including 4 kiddos under 5. Very family friendly, has just about everything you need. Josh was also very accommodating with the check in process. We would love to come back!

Not the cleanest and found less than desirable evidence of uncleanliness as our stay progressed. Location is beautiful on a small lake, but is right next to a highway. The uncleanliness and lack of upkeep was unfortunate, but overall still enjoyed the north woods and short driving distance to downtown.

Snowmobile riders dream.

Rented the house for myself and my buddies to go snowmobiling from. Right on Curtis lake, and directly across from Minoqua Prime steak house. (Amazing steaks and food, highly recommend!!) House had plenty of room for us, and we really liked the large common areas. Beautiful property, we will be back!

Winter 2024

The snowmobile trails weren’t open, so this house on Curtis Lake helped us take those blues away on our family getaway. Spent most of the time cooking, watching the football games and playing a lot of the games that were there. A great family vacation and would definitely return.
