Gorgeous location, comfortable home, has everything you might need (well stocked), nice washer and dryer, would definitely stay again. Loved our time at Cape Brenton

Had a great stay here. Internet was out first couple of days but not a big deal as the owners left a list of things to do and see.We had everything we needed.Very nice place.

Photos could be updated, VRBO site looks like the stay is in a barn style house, that was a bit confusing . Upstairs double bed mattress could be replaced.Our stay was enjoyable, Central location, the house was well stocked, lots of towels, the house was very clean.If your looking for a home base approx 1/2 to 1:45 minutes to your destination this is perfect

We are happy this guest enjoyed her stay! As she notes, we keep it well-stocked, with lots of towels and we keep it very clean. And yes, we are in a good, central location. Her confusion with respect to the VRBO photos was likely caused by the fact that VRBO started using AI to choose the order of our photos without us knowing it. I have now disabled the AI so there will be no future confusion. Also, I was waiting to update the photos until I finished some upgrades, and I have now included photos which show improvements in the living room, kitchen and veranda. The mattress in the upstairs (third) bedroom will be replaced in the Spring of 2027.

We had a wonderful stay at Potter’s Cottage. We felt right at home with the charming and "lived in" decor. Beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels, lots of space for our clothes in the rooms, and the kitchen was well equipped. We definitely recommend this place for its nostalgic vibes and peaceful location.

Cozy cottage in a great location

The cottage was perfect for us - great central location, informative welcome notebook, towels aplenty, well-supplied kitchen, and lovely hosts. Easy start point for day trips on the Cabot Trail and Cape Breton Highlands National Park.

A beautiful retreat! My sister and I loved this warm, cozy, artistic home. The kitchen backsplash tiles were amazing! We loved having these attractions very nearby: music at the Barn-Normaway Inn, Margaret Harbor Beach, The Dancing Goat cafe and bakery, the Salmon Museum, and two Macs for locally made gifts!

This charming house has a few quirks due to age and design but the location is close to groceries, cafés, an art gallery, the Cabot Trail and activities. Music fans will be a short drive from the Normaway Inn and the Barn. A great base if you are most interested in exploring.

Charming valley stay

The cottage is the perfect base for exploring the valley and the coast. The host was helpflu and communicative and we would absolutely come back.

Perfect place from which to enjoy the Margaree Valley

We’ll -equipped and lots of nice art on the he walls. We enjoyed our meals in the sun room.

The sunroom/ veranda is a special spot in late Summer, as you are surrounded by trees and bird sounds. Glad you enjoyed the cottage!
