Always a great stay here! We love the ease of access (flat road, paved driveway, etc. No steep gravel mountain roads to freak out over!) and our dogs love the HUGE yard. We've stayed here countless times and will stay here many more!

Stayed at Golden Oaks for 3 nights with the grandkids during their Fall break! It was a last minute trip and worked out great! The owners have thought of everything that could possibly be needed! Super clean! More than enough space, we were not crowded at all! We would definitely stay again!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Communication was amazing and the process was seemless. I would recommend this property to anyone and we will be back. Beds were comfortable and accomodations were great for our short weekend getaway to the mountains.

Matthew was great with communication. The cabin was clean and stocked with the essentials. Also a wonderful accommodating place to stay with our 2 dogs. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great location and perfect if you have a dog. The fenced in back yard was large and very secure. The house was very comfortable.

We have been coming to the area for 12 years and have stayed in multiple cabins but this one is our new favorite cabin. The location was quiet and peaceful. My favorite spot was the screened in porch, I could sit there for hours. Mathew was super helpful and communicative. A large bear walked across the lawn as we were packing up the truck, which was pretty awesome to see. Can't wait to stay here again.

Mathew's place was incredible!! So peaceful!! Perfect location!Loved the fenced backyard for our sweet bulldog!Very large backyard! Screened in porch was beautiful!!! Will definitely rent again! Thank you Mathew!! :)

We really enjoyed our first visit to Tennessee and the Golden Oaks was a great place to stay. The home was clean and cozy. The hot tub and pool table were so nice to have in the evenings. We spent most of our time exploring the National Park and found the location to be great. We were a close drive to the places we wanted to visit but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the major towns. Wears Valley was such a cute little town. The yard was also awesome for our dogs, they loved it! My son said if we ever come back to Tennessee he wants to stay here again!

We just had the most wonderful stay at Golden Oaks! We noticed immediately that it was very clean & beautifully furnished as we came in. The beds were SO comfortable which was a big plus. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you could ever need to cook or grill out & the grill was very clean. All the appliances were new & worked great. The only thing we missed was having a garbage disposal in the kitchen. We loved the hot tub which was spotless and our dogs really enjoyed the huge fenced in yard. One of our favorite things was the screened in porch with the porch swing & rocking chairs. It is so quiet & peaceful there that we had to sit in the swing every morning. This property was very easy to get to and access and it is half-way between Towsend & Pigeon Forge. Perfect! Our host were very attentive & responsive to anything we needed and were super nice. We honestly cannot recommend this beautiful place enough. It is the nicest place we have ever stayed in the Smokies. Thank you so much Matthew for making our vacation wonderful.

2nd time staying here. Just as good, if not better, this time. Clean, comfortable, easily accessible, and great for our little dogs to run their hearts out playing inside the large fenced yard. Great place to stay!

We absolutely loved this cabin!! We have stayed in A LOT of different cabins, my hubby says this one is his favorite perfect for pets as well!

Home away from home! The property was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. The owner was very helpful, with great communication. Great floor plan and I have to agree with a previous review, the screened porch and lavish yard are the highlight… we enjoyed a relaxing afternoon there listening to the summer sounds in the swing under the porch fans. Very convenient location to everything and such a great neighborhood. We didn’t get to bring our furry friends but they would have loved playing in the fenced yard. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place to stay! The view from the cabin and the yard is beautiful and close to multiple things to do including GSMTN trails and hiking. The dogs loved the fenced yard and the cabin was packed with all of the things to make us comfortable from cooking to laundry to comfy seating and beds. We will book again if we are in the area. Great house in Wears Valley 10 mins from Metcalf Bottoms picnic parking. The winner of the house was the porch! We had 2 huge thunderstorms and lots of rain during our stay and it was amazing to sit on the porch and listen to the rain. Being so close to this side of the Smokies was great. Even seclusion to feel like you are in the mountains but also close to everything you could need! Really great place with comfortable couches and beds. Huge yard was perfect for our dog! Our daughter got the best sleep ever here and so did we! Thank you so much to Mathew and Sara for a great place!
