Independence Lodge is centrally located to the top attractions in the area: Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Dollywood, The Island, Pigeon Forge, & Gatlinburg. Our cabin offers a comfy living space with two master suites with full en suite bathrooms, an upstairs living room with tons of sleeping space, 2 fire places, a DOUBLE deck with amazing views, porch swings, steamy hot tub, & fire pit.

What you can expect when you stay in our cabin:

MASTER SUITE 1: King bed, 49" flat screen satellite tv, green-tea-infused Zinus memory foam mattress, down comforter, 2 soft and 2 firm pillows, 3 drawer dresser, closet with hangers, and full en-suite bathroom with bath towels and makeup removal towels. Main level.

MASTER SUITE 2: King bed, 55" flat screen satellite tv, green-tea-infused Zinus memory foam mattress, down comforter, 2 soft and 2 firm pillows, 3 drawer dresser, closet with hangers, and full en-suite bathroom with bath towels and makeup removal towels. Upper level.

UPSTAIRS LIVING ROOM: Two sleeper sofas with memory foam mattresses, fire place, 65" TV with cable, board games, and pub table and chairs.

KITCHEN: Fully equipped with cooking essentials, flatware, dishes, drip coffee maker, toaster, waffle maker, blender, crockpot, cookie sheets, baking ware, mixing bowls, and more. Table seats 8!

GREAT ROOM: Sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress, 55" flat screen satellite TV with old school Nintendo set up, electric fireplace, extra blankets. Lots of seating.

OUTDOOR SPACE: DOUBLE DECK, hot tub, rocking chairs, side tables, porch swings, fire pit area with adirondack chairs, amazing views.
**
ADDITIONAL AMENITIES: Dish Network TV, hot tub, cool air conditioning, USB ports in most rooms, washer and dryer, cotton linens, makeup removal towels, bath towels, hot tub towels, and ceiling fans.

PARKING:
There is room for 2 large cars and 3 small cars in the driveway.

*PETS:
We allow ONE dog per booking. Your dog must weigh less than 50 pounds. If you have a second furry friend you would like to bring, message me before booking. Sometimes exceptions are made depending on size and for an additional fee. Bringing your pet means you agree to the following:
PET RULES:
1. Absolutely no dogs on any furniture.
2. The dog MUST be crated when/if left alone.
3. 100% off all clean up after your pet both inside the cabin (hair) and outside will be done by you. This is not part of the cleaning service.
4. Any and all damage done by your dog will be billed to and paid for by you.

**Please Note**: This cabin is best suited for 6-8 adults max, couples, one family, or two families with small children for a total of 10 guests. 10 adults would likely be uncomfortable due to sleeping arrangements in only three rooms and two bathrooms.

We do not offer early check-in or late check-out. We strictly adhere to all CDC cleaning recommendations and standards and as such require all 6 hours between guests.

AREA ATTRACTIONS: Dollywood (5.5 mi), Dollywood’s Splash Country (5.6 mi), The Island in Pigeon Forge (5.4 mi), Dolly Parton’s Stampede (4.0 mi), Titanic Museum (6.9 mi), Ripley’s Believe It Or Not (6.9 mi), Ober Gatlinburg (7.1 mi), Tanger Outlets (6 mi), Rocky Top Sports World (3.2 mi).

Knoxville McGhee Tyson Airport (42.7 mi).

THE GREAT OUTDOORS: Great Smoky Mountain National Park (8.5 mi) (hikes and park attraction distances will vary), Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort (9.5 mi), Smoky Mountain Zipline (4.4 mi), Smoky Mountain Jeep Rentals (12 mi), and Smoky Mountain River Rat Tubing (21 mi).

It's not uncommon to encounter wildlife in the mountains. There have been visits from deer, bear, and turkeys.
**
No smoking. No exceptions.
All guests must be 25 years old if unaccompanied by a guardian over age 25.

The entrance road is STEEP but paved - like most mountain roads in the area - but even our little Honda handles it like a champ! Drive it once and you'll realize it's a breeze. 4x4 is recommended in snowy weather.
