We had a wonderful time in this quiet mountain lodge. It was the perfect getaway for our family, and the location allowed us to visit so many sights in Colorado from Rocky Mountain National Park to Pikes Peak! Highly recommend!

Amazing property and views. Communication with Philip was easy and he was extremely helpful throughout our stay. When a surprise snowstorm came through the morning of our departure, he drove up to make sure we could get out safely. Will definitely stay again next time we're in the area.

Great friends retreat/vacay

We loved our stay on Scar Top Mountain! The views were spectacular, very comfortable furniture, & the large Smart TV with excellent reception was fantastic!

Wonderful family stay

We loved everything about this house and what made it a plus was the host who was attentive to every little detail and in constant communication with us if we had a question. The view was amazing and the property itself was clean & a great home away from home for some family quality time. We definitely cherished our time here, hopefully will book again soon in the future!

This mountain home had everything we needed. It was so cozy and much bigger than anticipated. My son had a blast with the air hockey. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent host!!

The home was beautiful, ideal layout for a large group and amazing views!! The host was so very kind and gracious. He is extremely responsive and thorough in his communications regarding the home. Would absolutely stay there again!

Mountain Escape

Property looks exactly as listed and is gorgeous! We had a wonderful time there. The property is quiet and private. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone.

Bachelor Weekend

This was the perfect house for a weekend with the fellas. Fantastic views, a good kitchen, easy access to town and ski resorts. We were as happy to hang out at the house as do anything else!

Beautiful views

Great communication with host, easy check-in. Beautiful views, great property. Small items not available so need to bring things like soap, shampoo, extra paper towels, etc. Would certainly stay again, family loved the deck and foosball.

Family outing

My kids and I had a few days to explore and this was a great spot for us. The Internet and amenities kept them busy during our downtime and the view is amazing. Its larger than I expected and is very clean. In-garage parking excellent bonus..

We were pleasantly surprised with the great mountain views! The host was very helpful when the temperatures dropped into single digits during our stay. Our second night we got an inch of snow making our return to the house tense. I would highly suggest you have a 4x4 or AWD vehicle when there is a chance it might be snowy. Our front wheel drive (my gamble) made it up the roadway and driveway, but it was sketchy.We would definitely stay here again.

Views that steal the show!

We had an amazing stay! The views were absolutely breathtaking—easily the highlight of the trip. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was responsive and very accommodating, which made everything smooth from start to finish. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning scenery, this is the place. Can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic View

The process was easy from booking the property to checking out. Phil, the owner, was so easy to work with. The property was just what we were looking for. Waking up to that view will be a memory we will carry with us. We look forward to our next visit to the Colorado Rockies.

Scar Top Mountain Escape is amazing!!!! Beautiful views and great house!! Super clean and exceptional communication with Phil. Plenty of room to relax, very nice well appointed kitchen, and a cozy wood burning fireplace insert. We celebrated our daughter’s graduation from University of Denver with her MSW.We definitely would return!!

Great view , mainly perfect! The master bathroom needs a new shower head, it leaks more than it flows. And could be cleaner . But pretty good overall

The view from the house is really tremendous! We spent Thanksgiving there and the kitchen was very well equipped and well stocked with cookware Given the amount of glass and where it's located, the house was very warm and draft free. The house was clean and he beds very comfortable. The only negative for us was that the furniture is a little sparse, but it s exactly as pictured on the listing. So that was as I expected. All in all a great stay.
