Peaceful and safe

Quiet neighborhood, beautiful home. A little strange with the camera inside of the home, never seen that. Unfortunately the hot tub heat is not included in your rent, it is extra. Otherwise this place is beautiful and we loved our stay!!

No where to actually relax...

Where to begin.... There is no where in this property to relax. The couch is the worst couch on this planet. As soon as you sit on it springs and what we think is a bar goes right up your behind. So you look over and think hmmm those are comfy. the chairs around the island.... NO! After sitting in them you go numb. Forcing you to find somewhere else. Can't be the bedrooms. The beds were TERRIBLY HARD!. Then there are cameras all around the property, which is understandable but there is one on the inside and we couldnt turn it off. The owner gave us instructions but it turned off nothing. The tvs are a great size BUT!!!!! NOT WIFI!!!! Which means the apps that are preloaded havent been updated and wont allow you to log in. you cant mirror to it because its not wifi or bluetooth. so you are forced to watch Antenna tv. but all the darn channels were in spanish. The few that we did find were not good. had a dvd plugged to it but come on who has dvd's now? Thank goodness my step daughter brought her lap top. We had to go buy a hdmi cord just to have some decent tv in the house. Advertised with a tv in 1 of the bedrooms. YEA!! It doesn't even have picture. You turn it on and nothing. HMMM. The pool.... Water fall didn't work. hot tub jets didn't work so that meant the HEATED POOL AND HOT TUB That I paid extra for because its the cooler months, couldn't be used. because without the jets the water didn't circulate the hot tub. it was ICE Cold at the bottom of the hot tub where you are supposed to put your feet. The pool was nice and warm for the 1st day!! 1/2 thru the 2nd day you could tell it was cooling off. so I paid $40.00 a day for 5 days. $200.00 additional for a pool that was warm for 1 1/2 days and a hot tub that couldn't be used! nice! when i messaged the owner about the hot tub he didn't tell me someone would come to the house. Mysteriously some guy shows up . we leave and come back (leave him working) and NOTHING! No jets no nothing. just gone! There are rooms in the house you CANT ACCESS! Again completely understandable but please DISCLOSE it to the unsuspecting renter. No access to the garage either. And NO DISHWASHER. So be prepared to buy plasticware of wash dishes. The home seems so modern in the pictures.... but in person needs a lot of fixing. After staying a week i sure appreciated being back home.

Property deserves 5 stars!!

I was skeptical about renting due to some of the negative reviews. So let's address those first. The property is NOT in a bad neighborhood. It's a family neighborhood and extremely quiet. There was a complaint about no blinds in the master bathroom. Blinds have been placed in there. Complaint that tvs didn't work, all tvs work and have local channels. Complaint of poor lighting, all fixtures work and is lit very well!! Complaint that couch isn't comfortable, lies, not only is it comfortable, it's beautiful. I spent my 38th birthday in this home with 3 other girl friends. There was plenty of room for us. The home was clean, decorated very nicely, and most importantly beds were comfortable. Oh there was a complaint about dishes. John has a very nice dish set and glasses to feed 4 or more. To my surprise there was also a cabinet with misc items such as coffee!! Winner!! There is no dish washer (buy paper if you don't wanna wash dishes). Home was stocked with plenty towels but no rags. There is a Walmart less than 2 miles away, easy fix. The home is located next to all the things you could possibly need. I never drove more than 20mins to any location. I stayed 4 days and didn't have to refill rental. Highlight, the pool and scenery is absolutely beautiful. We paid to have it heated and it was warm when we arrived. It has beautiful lights at night. Plenty of seating (lounge and sit up chairs). There is a table out there and a grill!! Booking was very easy and John responded to all my inquires right away. He also checked on us about midway through the stay to see if we need anything. This is a GREAT STAY!!!

Great house for a family

This was a great house to stay at while visiting family in the area for Thanksgiving. Our kids spent many hours in the pool, the beds were comfortable, and the cul-de-sac was very quiet from traffic. There are a few minor suggestions: more accessible seating in the living room for our aging parents, additional cereal bowls and wine glasses, and ensuring all the lights/lamps are working correctly.

Underwhelmed

TVs were supposed to be smart, if they are they are so old it didnt work, bedroon tv didnt work, no box, downstairs, a few channels, no window coverings in bathroom, front door. Huge ripple and hole in front flooring fixed by duct tape. No dishwasher, drapes were torn. Beds were very low and many light bulbs burnt out. Got the pool heated which was nice but the hot tub was not hot. Garbage all over in the trees behind pool, cig butts, and stuff strewn. Outside chairs are decent but meant to have cushions and there were none. I had to ask for check in instructions and they provided a number if there were any problems. When the hot tub wouldnt heat I called numerous times to no answer. Depends on what your looking for but for us, we wanted a comfortable place to hang out and relax and that wasnt possible with the cheap high chairs at the kitchen island, and the uncomfortable and worn out sofa was the only other down stair seating option. The chairs outside had no cushions. and tons of garbage on the side of the house with a side gate that had no latch. Used a brick to keep gate closed.

The listing says there are 2 king size beds, there are not, they are both queens. We paid extra to have the pool and spa heated and they were cold when we arrived at 4pm, we were told they would be up to temperature the following day even though we had paid for the entire stay. There is no blind in the master bath, which is awkward because it's right by the shower and looks into the neighbors backyard. The neighborhood was not what we expected and felt unsafe! The owner has signs on the outside of the house stating maximum occupancy along with an emergency contact name and number, which makes it very obvious that it is a VRBO property and again made us feel unsafe. We booked 4 nights, stayed 1 night (only because we were exhausted from traveling) and moved to a hotel the next day. I will say that the owner was very good and prompt about refunding our money. All that being said I would not recommend this property.

Not one regular chair in entire house; no desk or table; lighting poor everywhere but bathrooms; chairs at kitchen island too high for island; master bed only 12 inches from floor; shampoo/conditioner dispensers empty; drapes dirty and torn; kitchen not properly stocked with things in disarray and exploded can in cabinets. Tan window covering in kitchen cannot be raised to let light in.

Great location

The house was fine the location was perfect for us. There needed to be more pots and pans for cooking. There was no privacy window cover in the upstairs bathroom. The master bedroom has a vary annoying noise that gets louder with the air conditioner so we didn't get a restful sleep. I messaged the owner about the pool being super dirty and they responded "thank you".
