Great House!

We had such a great stay! The house we clean and so well stocked! Anything we could have thought of and more! Lots of games and extra towels and blankets. The two dining tables were great for our family. The house was so cozy and just perfect for a family get together. Would definitely come back and recommend to others!

Relax at the Lake

Awesome stay with old friends at beautiful Cherokee Lake. Exceptionally clean and well stocked with every amenity you will need for a great getaway. Delightful inside and out. Complete kitchen supplies, kayaks, a hot tub and everything you will need to have a great getaway. Brought our boat (or you can rent one at the marina nearby) and enjoyed several relaxing days in this excellent cabin. Will definitely be back next year!

Everything you would need and more

The host was extremely helpful from check in to check out. Everything you would ever need is provided and this place is fully stocked. The kayak’s exceeded our expectations and the boat dock was nice for our kids. We were able to tie up our boat and our rental boat to the dock. The marina was one minute away by boat ride. Great location close to a Walmart and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Great home, wonderful amenities!

First off, a great home. Good workable spaces to accommodate a large number of people, lots of places to hang out together or spread out. Also great amenities and extras I never hoped for. Fishing poles and a campfire kit with everything you need for s’mores. Very homey and well thought out. We had a wonderful time, thank you!

Awesome place!

We had a great stay here a few weeks ago. Everything we could think of was provided at the house. Even outside entertainment for the kids!. They loved the swing set! The view of the lake was great and we got to see a couple beautiful sunsets! Carol was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. She even called us right away when one of us accidentally left something at the house. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great Vacation Home

The house was amazing. Plenty of room for everyone. Our family enjoyed all the lake house had to offer. Carol was a great host and we have nothing but positive things to say about our stay! 5 stars and would 100% stay again!

Wonderful cabin!!

We had an awesome vacation staying at this cabin. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was great. The kids enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake while we watched by the fire pit. We would definitely come back to this cabin again!!

Couples vacationing for July 4th

This place is one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. Boat dock for fishing, hot tub and and everything you could think of for entertainment. We will be back and will highly recommend

The Perfect Family Reunion Getaway

This cabin was the perfect getaway for our family reunion. The attention to detail left for the guest was above anything we had ever encountered, and we travel a lot. We were treated like royalty, and if you had forgotten anything the host was there to help provide at any time. From booking to checking in to check out customer service for this place and the property and itself with all its amenities was amazing and will definitely be booking again for our next family reunion. A must see!

My family and I stayed here over thanksgiving and upon arrival it was easy to see that we had made the right choice! This property has everything and more. Pictures don’t do this place justice it was such a nice place and had such great amenities. My family of 9 fit comfortably here and there was so much to do and see. Host was great and responsive and provided everything needed for a perfect stay! We have hopes of returning here again soon!

Beautiful home

We stayed for a week in October and we had a great time. The owner was very responsive, the home was exactly as described and was very clean. We enjoyed the views of the lake and the lake access. Home is in a quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend this house and will be back again!

Perfect House for Girlfriends Weekend

This house was wonderful. It was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed. Better than any other house we have stayed in before. It's in a beautiful quiet location and near everything we wanted to do. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for our family

Well equipped. The beds, linens, laundry room, kitchen, games, electronics. The LAKE - great dock, paddle boat, kayaks, life vests. We needed a place to stay near local family in the area … and we enjoyed the unexpected benefit of a lake home experience. We’ll be back.

All and more...

My family of 9 (3 households) rented this property in June 2022 and had a great experience. We found all as advertised and more as the host provided extras (treats, paper goods, soaps, seasoning basics) beyond what we've had in rentals before. The common spaces (1st and 2nd floor) are bigger than the pictures show which gave everyone a quiet corner if they wished. The dual zone AC units really kept the whole house cool and comfortable. The kitchen is fully kitted out and amply provided for dishes to serve several meals. The first floor master bedroom was a must for my elder parents and the walk-in shower made it very easy for them. And finally a huge thank you for the use of the kayaks and paddle boat! My daughter and I were out on the water every day and the water craft availability on site was very much appreciated. I would definitely rent this property or any other provided by the host Carol W.

Perfect Vacation Home for Families!!

We had the pleasure of staying at this property from June 15th-19th and couldn't have been more impressed with the home and amenities! We were taking a family vacation with 5 adults and 3 children, so we wanted to find a place where we could spend quality time together without feeling crowded. This house could not be more PERFECT for family or group trips! The layout separates the sleeping spaces, while still maintaining a cozy but spacious atmosphere with large living room and dining room spaces. The house was extremely clean, and the owner provided just about every amenity we could think of! Let's just say, if you forget to pack something you think you might need, they likely already have it in the house for you. We loved grilling out on the blackstone grill, and the kids enjoyed fishing off the dock which is just a short walk across the road. We had a great time taking the kayaks out on Lake Cherokee, and there was a marina just a short drive down the road that offers boat rentals as well. We had a brief issue one of the days with the air conditioning and internet going out, but the owner immediately responded and got it fixed right away for us. Overall, the great customer service, location and beautiful property made our stay a very memorable one! We look forward to visiting again soon!

We had a great time. Cabin was clean and spacious and decorated for Christmas.

Equipped with everything you need. Beautiful property. Lots of deer and wildlife around the cabin. Only downfall was the king mattress. Overall would stay there again. Thanks for a great family vacation and your beautiful cabin.

Welcome Home...at least for a little while

The Heather Brook Hideaway was beyond what we'd expected. The property owners have created a very homey, welcoming space to relax and hideaway. From the entrance up the driveway, to opening the front door and finding a welcome package for s'mores and moonpies...the owners have covered every detail. The kitchen boasts beautiful views of Cherokee Lake, every gadget you could need, and a breakfast bar to enjoy coffee and watch the sunrise. Our team enjoyed our stay with plenty of room for privacy or watching the football game together in the large family room. If you are looking for a getaway to hide from the hustle and bustle of life....I'd recommend choosing the hideaway at Heather Brook!!

Beautiful Home

We really enjoyed our stay at Heather Brook Hideaway. The house is beautiful and the owner has thought of everything that you need to enjoy your visit. The kitchen was supplied with all sorts of cookware and bakeware, dishes, air fryer, k cup coffee maker, toaster, gas stove/oven, and lots of other things to make it easier on you! There was plenty of room to sleep and eat. The grandchildren enjoyed walking down to the dock, trying to fish, and looking at the lake! They even got to see a deer and a chipmunk! We rented a boat from the marina and enjoyed our ride around the lake.

The perfect home!

This is a beautiful home. The beach/lake is very close to the house with the marina right around the corner for boat rental. The house has everything you need and then some! Carol made the process very easy and simple. Will definitely be back here every year for our vacation! Pictures can’t even do it justice.
