We had a lovely week staying here. The place was spotlessly clean. The agency was super responsive to some last minute requests and queries. The pool is beautiful- clean and refreshing with a stunning view over the valley. The place is so quiet, and beautiful. The master suite is very spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The place is equipped with everything we could possibly need and was thoughtfully organised with labels on the light switches and a book full of useful information. You need a car to get around. There is a bakery just ten minutes drive away that does exquisite cakes, sandwiches and croissants. There are also supermarkets and restaurants 20 minutes drive away, in the local town of Belves which is small but quaint. Sarlat, Beynac and Vitrac are all really easy to get to in just over half an hour. Make sure you go take a look at St Germaine de Belves. It’s about a 2 minutes drive away drive or a 20 minute walk and it’s absolutely stunning- like a movie set! It won’t take long but it’s so worth the trip as it is beautiful. We so lucked out booking this place and if this is the part of the perigord you want to visit, and you are happy being somewhere quiet and driving to where you need to be, I’d most definitely recommend this place! There are also lots of nice walks if you are thinking of taking your furry friend.
