Beautiful property and cabins. Hosts were very helpful and responsive. Everything you could think of for amenities. It was easy for us to just unpack our food and clothes and settle in. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week spent together and would recommend this place to anyone looking to visit the area!

The property is as beautiful as it looks in the photos. The size of the property and proximity to Barry’s Bay is the perfect combination of private oasis with access to amenities. Everything from check-in to contact with the host was smooth and easy.

Everything was beautiful. It was the perfect stay for our family of 6. I loved how there were games to play (both indoors and out), a park, beach toys (with an excellent beach just 25 min drive away), and such beauty of scenery! It was amazing!!!!

Cozy Honeymoon!

Vesna's cottage was stunning and the perfect setting for our winter honeymoon! The location was perfect and very private, the cottage was very well appointed, clean, warm and cozy. Vesna was an amazing and responsive host. Can't wait to potentially visit in the summer too!

Hidden gem

Upon arriving we were blown away at how immaculate and stunning the property was, it had everything we needed and more , communicating with vesna on any concerns or questions was very quick and easy , beautiful spot and we will definitely be back .

Girlfriend motorcycle trip

We traveled from Wisconsin to ride the area and the property was spectacular! The home was clean and beautiful. We loved it! The kitchen was fantastic and had everything you needed.

Peaceful retreat

Our family gets together once a year at different locations. Verna’s property was by far everyone’s favourite. The property was breathtaking and peaceful and the cottage had every amenities possible, Vesna thought of everything one would need for a comfortable stay. Truly enjoyed our week.

A terrific stay with family

Stillwoods is an absolute gem — beautiful property, well-appointed cottages, a serene backdrop for some much-needed time away. It was a perfect place for us to gather with family in the Carriage House and Pine Cabin — the bedrooms, washrooms, and stunning kitchen provided everything we needed! We very much hope we can return. Thank you Vesna for ensuring we were well taken care of.

Very Lovely

Our stay was very nice. Property and buildings look exactly like the photo's online. Very secure as well. The hosts are very generous and left several extra's Although not on water several awesome beaches are minutes away. I would definately book again.

Gorgeous, serene getaway

Light-filled cottage with gorgeous wooden beams and floors and peaceful little sitting nooks throughout. Impeccably furnished. Beautiful property. Our kids really enjoyed the outdoor play structure and indoor fireplace, and we loved exploring the hikes and towns of Madawaska Valley. Vesna was really quick to respond to any questions we had. Would return.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming cottage nestled in the woods. From the moment we arrived, we were approached by the serene atmosphere and the beauty of nature surrounding us. The cottage itself was clean and thoughtfully designed, creating a zen-like environment that allowed us to unwind and reconnect.Looking for a beach area to spend the day try the beautiful Lake Papineau only a 20 minute drive away, fantastic for children, white sand, shallow and clear water. Grab some ice cream or a Tim’s coffee at the nearby town of Berry’s Bay only a 15 minute drive. Overall, our stay at this cottage truly felt like a home away from home. For anyone looking to reconnect with family or friends in a nature environment this would be the place,

Slice of Heaven in Nature.

This property is a little slice of heaven. If you love nature and a gorgeous well built home away from home this is the place to be. The owners were amazing to work with and very quick at answering questions. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the little extra treats were such a wonderful surprise. We found incredible hiking trails nearby and one just down the road that brought us to a gorgeous rock beach and one up Gun mountain for great views. Crooked slide park is also amazing to explore. The only disappointment for the weekend was that the lakes were still too frozen to fish from the shore.
