‘The Hummingbird' is a beautifully designed cabin with privacy and fun in mind where you can enjoy your vacation away from it all! All bedrooms have king size beds (all linens provided), their own private bath and separate living areas are located on each of the three levels.

The first level invites you to relax by the stone fireplace. The open dining area is a great area to gather for meals while you await dinner from the spacious fully stocked kitchen. One of the two bedrooms located on the first floor hosts a Jacuzzi tub for your pleasure. A five person hot tub is located just outside on the outdoor deck for your convenience in any season!

The second level offers two additional sitting areas and a card table for lots of family fun. There are also two decks located at the front and side of the second level. Two bedrooms and baths are also located on this level.

On the third level is another sitting area with a mini bar and full size pool table for those with a competitive streak. Two more bedrooms and baths are located on this level as well. The upper outdoor decks offer rocking chairs for you to soak in the peace and tranquility that the mountains offer.

This magnificent cabin is just minutes away from Dollywood, the Outlets, downtown Sevierville and Pigeon Forge. Yet, when you retreat to your cabin you feel like you have left all your worries behind in the quietness of the mountains.

Kitchen was well stocked, house was clean and all TVs worked. Second and third level areas were nice to spread out in and watch multiple football games on. The only issue we had was some loud neighbors but it was Labor Day weekend so somewhat expected. They were not troublesome to us personally. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My family of 14 had a wonderful time at the Hummingbird! My primary issues are the beds. The mattresses NEED to be replaced. Need more towels. 2 per bathroom is not enough when most of my kids have kids. Since you know how many kids are going to be there, there should be at least one per person. Overall.. it was great. A good place for families/friends to reconnect.

Get away with family

The kids thoroughly enjoyed the "gameroom"!Everyone was thrilled with having their own bathroom. As i am on the "older" side of things, i appreciated tbe walk in showers.We could not have asked for better accomdations!

Great house

Great location easy to get to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The house is quiet with plenty of room for your group to spread out and be comfortable.

Golf fun

We really enjoyed the cabin, it was very spacious and convenient to area attractions. The cabin had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the larger TV's in the rooms also and was able to spread out and have a little room.

Had fun with family.

Peaceful, no neighbors on the one side. 2 bath towels per shower is a little short for a 6 night stay. But overall a good experience.

PERFECT!!

This location was PERFECT for our weekend stay for our wedding in the Smoky Mountains! We had our siblings & parents all under one roof, yet everyone had their own bedrooms & bathrooms!!

Usry Family Reunion

This was a super nice property and fit our needs for a family reunion perfectly. Hosts responded promptly when we had questions. Property is located in an area that is close enough to activities, but far enough out of the way to enjoy peace and quiet. I definitely recommend this property for a family getaway.

Perfect

Everything was great! Property was as described, check in and check out were so easy. The owners communicated with us before our stay to give us all the details and let us know they were available if we needed anything. Far enough away to be secluded, but close enough to all the attractions. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Almost perfect!

This was the first time that a lot of my family has been to the cabins and I must say that this house met all of our needs. It contributed massively to the awesome time we had. It is conveniently placed within 10 minutes of town and the neighborhood was quiet. If I come back to the cabins, I would definitely choose this house again! Thanks for allowing our stay!

Excellent cabin.

Our family enjoyed this cabin very much. It was clean, kitchen was very stock. We enjoyed the game room with our family & grandchildren. Air hockey, Foosball, pool table. 2 & 3rd level had own seated areas with large TV. Our family did s'more and told stories around the fire pit outside. Had a wonderful time. We would definitely go there again.. .

Very nice house

Everything was as in the listing. Owners are very nice and easy to communicate with. The only thing we would wish for would be more space in the kitchen/dining/ living room area on the main floor. It was tight for eleven of us, and we would have been twelve if all could have come.

Family reunion with kids and grandkids from Colorado and Wisconsin

We had a great time at the cabin, plenty of room to spread out and enjoy both time together and alone (if needed). Only two things not fully up to par: no laundry detergent out that we could find and the pool table is warped and the foosball table had some broken “men” on it. Otherwise all was wonderful. Enjoyed walking the neighborhood as well. Had a fire in the fire pit one night which was a blast. Owners were very responsive to all our questions and comments. Would come back to this house for sure.

2023 Thanksgiving Week in the Smoky Mountains

We have been to the Smoky Mountains for the last 10 years as a family on Thanksgiving Day. We had 19 family members from 1 to 80 yrs. of age and all of us had a Great Time. We started with the petting zoo right by the Cabin and everyone had a lot of fun with the animals. Each day we ventured out to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and also the sites in Sevierville, especially the Smoky Mountain Knife Works All 3 towns were very close. Our cabin was really nice and clean with a lot of room for everyone. The cabin owner, Larry Briggs actually sent us emails to check on us to see if we needed anything. Our whole family truly enjoyed every day of our Thanksgiving trip. Thanks for the Memories.

Thanksgiving family vacation

The hummingbird cabin is absolutley beautiful! My family and I had such a wonderful time, we hated to go. The cabin was clean, fully stocked, and had all of the comforts of home. Each floor has two bedrooms-each with its own bathroom (yippee!), and it's own living area with tv(s). We had no problems, but if we had, there's no doubt Susan or Larry would be in touch asap. I've talked with Susan several times, and she is very very sweet, and is quick to email back. I'm not sure when we will be able to return to Sevierville, but I know where we're gonna stay when we do!! ;) Thanks so much for everything!!

Our stay at the Hummingbird

When we first walked into the Hummingbird I remember thinking WOW this place is spotless, and after further exploring we found that every room and every nook and cranny was just as clean. Tennessee is our favorite motorcylcling area and this was our second consecutive year at the Hummingbird. It will not be our last. Communication with Larry and Susan is excellent, any and all questions were quickly answered. The immediate area around the Hummingbird is very quiet giving one a feeling of seclusion but yet it is located close to many attractions. We had several motorcycles and vehicles which were well accommodated by the ample parking area. We are all pleased to have found this beautiful place to stay in the Smokies.

Comfy Cabin

Enjoyed the cabin very much. We had a large family there of 9 adults and one child. Each couple had our own King size bed and own bathroom. Three levels gave all of us our own space and privacy. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub every night. Plenty of kitchen appliances and pots and pans. We had everything we needed. Very well stocked. Anytime I had a question the owner was quick to answer. We loved the cabin and will highly recommend. I want to end this review saying I have never slept so good in a cabin. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. That means a lot after a long day of shopping or exploring the park. Thank you for allowing us the pleasure of staying in your beautiful and comfy cabin. ❤️

Beautiful Cabin, Great Location, Wonderful Family Memories

The Hummingbird Cabin is beautiful, spacious, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and very clean. We had an amazing time from the moment we checked in until the second we checked out. We had 5 generations gathering for Memorial Day weekend. My 85-year-old grandmother even joined us. What a blessing!!! The open floor plan made preparing and enjoying meals together quite special. The cabin's amenities made it easy for everyone to find an area or activity that could occupy their down time. Air hockey was a big hit for the young children. Teens enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. Rocking chairs and card games were popular for adults. The Deer Farm that is just minutes was awesome. If you want to see exotic animals, feed goats, pet fallow deer, and ride horses you should go. Go-carts, amusement rides, and shopping were a quick drive away. All of our outings were exciting for children and adults alike! The cabin is easy to access. There is plenty of parking. The owners are very friendly and great to work with. They answered all of my questions quickly via email, phone, and text. We will absolutely be returning. I highly recommend the property for larger groups that want to be in a peaceful environment; yet close to the action. The experience exceeded our expectations. Larry and Susan, thanks so much for your unparalleled customer service and sharing your amazing property with us.

Larry and I reside in Middle Tennessee and have always enjoyed getaways to cabins in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Sevierville area. We have always loved the beauty of the Smoky Mountains and enjoy taking our children there for quality family time. We love that you can make your vacation one on the go with shows, Dollywood, skiing (in the winter),etc. or more laid-back...hanging out at Douglas Lake, morning coffee on the front porch, hiking...We love our new cabin and invite you to enjoy it too.

Larry and I spent many vacations in the Great Smoky Mountains and fell in love with this area. 'The Oaks' in particular, is an area that is easily accessible off the main road in Sevierville. It is easy to find and provides paved roads for ease of access in all seasons. It is close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge while avoiding their traffic. The cabin is also located at the end of the road with forest on 2 sides...so it quite peaceful!
