Old metal barn, redeemed and converted into an astonishing custom interior. The natural smell of raw Cedar, Spruce, and Oak are all you need to relax and drift into another world. Enjoy the deer, birds and nature around you. Private gate. This upstairs loft gives you an amazing view 20 feet above the property to best enjoy the beautiful sunrises.
Note: There are 26 metal steps leading up to the cabin. This may be challenging to some seniors, small children & pets.

Secluded and peaceful

We loved our time at the hayloft and wish that we could’ve stayed longer. It’s far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet close enough at the same time. It had everything that we needed plus some. There were even Mardi Gras decorations!! We would absolutely come again. Cheryl is great to work with, also!

Wonderful

Spent time here with my daughter and my 4 year old grandson. We had such a great time. The property is beautiful and everything was perfect.

Great place!

My husband and I loved everything about the Hay Loft. It was a lovely place to stay for the holiday, as we celebrated with nearby family. It was decorated for Christmas, my favorite holiday. Each night, as we returned from visiting with family, we enjoyed playing cards together. There are many board games available, too, which is a nice touch.

Fun Rustic but comfortable stay

We were here to visit family in the area. This is a fun somewhat rustic place to stay. Definitely worth the short drive from Longview. We are not ones to stay in the same place twice, but the hayloft and ranch will definitely be an exception for us. We can't wait to visit again.

Perfect Hideaway

Loved everything about the Haybarn. Beautiful view, wrap around porch and the inside was very cozy. My wife wants me to build one just like it!!!!

Nice time in Longview

We were looking for a place that wasn’t like a hotel but was comfortable and nice. This met that expectation- rather quite and we slept well.

The Barn

Really enjoy our stay! It was nice, quiet, and tucked away with still being a close distance to a bigger city. Brought our two dogs along for a dog show and we got out in the yard and threw their rope around. It was a very very big yard!! We all enjoyed it and the host was great with the communication we had.

Great relaxing getaway!

Such a cute place!! We spent my husbands 40th birthday here, bbqing, fishing at the pond, catching frogs and just enjoying the outdoors. Saw some wildlife -beautiful birds and even a deer! We’re a family of 4 and brought our dogs. Even they had a great time enjoying the serene area and listening to wildlife.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade!

My daughter and I were put out due to no power at our home in Conroe thanks to Beryl. Cell signal is down and I was able to find a motel in Waco, but that was a nightmare when I got there. Needless to say, I needed to find a STR and Cheryl's HayLoft (or what we call TreeHouse!) was a Godsend! Her property cannot be any more perfect for myself, my daughter, my really close, great family friend, and my two dogs. Being so high up was super cool, the home is absolutely adorably decorated. We walked to the pond, but we did not do the walking trails. Wi-Fi is great, most certainly PEACEFUL but close to town when you want to get out. Perfect property. Can't wait to book again!

Get A Way @ the Hay Loft

We had a wonderful time at the Hay Loft in Longview, TX. Very nicely decorated, clean, plenty of space. The covered patio/balcony was awesome. We watched deer and rabbits, & squirrels from the patio area. We would got back and stay this next week if we could.

Lovely Hayloft cottage in the Pines

We had a lovely time sitting out on perfectly shaded hayloft deck, walking over and fishing at the pond and grilling in the late afternoon. This place is special and gave us wonderful memories.

State Championship

We were in town to perform at a State Championship at the Hallsville High School and wanted to stay locally nearby. The Hayloft was 7 minutes away, perfect location. Loved the location, property and the owner’s communication. It took 4 trips up and down the stairs to get everything unloaded, and wished that the on-site electric hoist would have been offered to us to get our luggage and groceries up to the second story facility which is only accessible by a exterior flight of stairs to check in and check out. Other wise this was such a FUN place to chill after we were done for the day, to enjoy our Win and Family conversations and Movies.

Pretty Property

This old barn was very comfortable. Towels and sheets were clean and very nice. Overall clean. The sofa could use a good shampoo. I always use my own sheet to cover sofas. It was an inexpensive place to stay for the total solar eclipse one hour away. We were lucky to find it available. The property was very quiet except when a train would pass near by all night long. I didn’t know a train was near by. Overall our two night stay was fine for us. I would recommend a stay here. Thank you Cheryl for sharing your pride a joy.

Beautiful, fun, and cozy!

The description of the home and its amenities were pretty spot on. My family of 5 slept great and enjoyed the huge balcony porch and the paddle boat at their private lake next door. We ran into the owner and she was a delight to chat with. She provided a binder of the homes history, tips and eateries near by for your convenience. As the owner stated, the home does run via septic so water pressure varies, especially after heavy rain which we experienced, however it was not a huge issue. In the kitchen there were some basic spices and pots and pans provided if cooking. Everything works great, we used it all. We even replenished what we used just as a thank you. I do recommend the rental! It was a wonderful time and i would love to go back when visiting Longview again.

You will love this place. wooded, in the country, lots of walking trails, and really private and quiet. Also include is access to our private pond packed full of Bream, Catfish, and Bass. Fishing is catch and release. A map is provided to navigate the hiking trails.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Queen Bed in the Master room with sliding glass door out to the surrounding porch with 2 twin beds in the second bedroom. For more people you could use a provided air bed, but please understand it would take up a considerable amount of space.

If you enjoy the outside, there is a nice firepit and sitting area. No traffic noise, just the sounds of the crackling fire in the Firepit while you enjoy your evening refreshments.
