Hosts go above and beyond to give you a good experience. All of the amenities you could need are provided, and it was very cozy and comfortable. I would not recommend walking in the area, but the location is a short ride into the city and was mostly quiet during my stay. Would recommend!

Wedding Weekend

Everything went well. Host was pleasant, helpful and courteous. Safe neighborhood. We had a wedding to attend at The Wharf. Location made it easy for us to get in and out of the festivities. Would stay here again.

Ideal hosts, up to date one bedroom

Ideal experience. Newly created basement unit. Hosts were the most generous, thoughtful folks ever to host. Quiet neighborhood. Just fabulous!

A gem in Anacostia!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this property! Juan is such a gracious host and the property was perfect for what we needed! Loved the snacks and drinks that were there for us as well. Definitely a 5 star place!

Such a great place!

I had a wonderful stay here. The hosts are really accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. Everything was explained and how everything worked. I loved the snacks and the drinks!

Cute little basement suite

The apartment was clean, functional and within walking distance of the metro. Juan, the host, was a gem, offering us an abundance of very good suggestions for visiting both DC and the area he is located in. Thanks Juan - much appreciated.

Modern basement smart apartment. Host professional and friendly. Snacks, including water,soda,chips and wine provided. Close to metro subway and major DC attractions. The surrounding area could be better .

Hospitality touches are top notch. Tight quaters but adequate one night stay. I do not enjoy one way in and one way out of the bed for two people.

First Timers in D.C

Check-in process was a bit rough. The check-in time was at 4pm. But the guests before us had left late so it had ruined the timing of everyone else: clean up crew & us. Clean-up crew had a 3 hour window to clean for the next guests to stay. We were on our way over 20 minutes before check-in time, our host had let us know but we were already on our way over. It was untimely. We were tired from our trek around D.C, just wanted to refresh & drop off our carry-on bags from the morning flight in. Juan was thorough with the tour of the very cozy space. Easy to get a hold of him through text or phone call. Sent a list of suggestions to do around the city. Security is top notch there, makes you feel safe!

Great Experience

Our host, Juan, is what made all the difference. His kindness and helpfulness was just awesome!! The house was super clean, updated and this is a smart house. There was complimentary drinks and snacks. We were very impressed. You are only a $6.00 Uber to the metro and then a $2 ride to the National Archives. This is a win location. Thank you, Juan!! You definitely were one of the best host I have encountered.

Awesome Awesome Awesome

The stay at Juan's was amazing. The property was immaculately clean. Juan gave us a tour of the smart unit and gave us tons of suggestions about where to go and how to get there. He offered tons of knowledge of the area and things to do. He was available anytime we had questions or concerns. We would stay here anytime we are in DC and highly recommend his property. I can't speak highly enough of our stay.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und freundlich eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Zusaätzlich stellen die freundlichen und hilfbereiten Vermieter Pantoffeln, Stadtpläne, Getränke und einige Snacks zur Verfügung. Hinter dem Haus gibt es einen Parkplatz und die Metro-Station, von der aus man direkt zur 'Mall', dem Zentrum von Washington kommt, ist mit dem Auto in 5-10 Minuten gut zu erreichen und verfügt über ein preisgünstiges Parkhaus. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Amazing stay and host

This was one of the best experiences I've had with a rental!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Everything was very clean, and there was more room than I had thought after looking at the pictures. But there were also lots of added amenities like snacks, a TV with streaming apps, a fully stocked kitchen, and a metro card. The host was also extremely welcoming and accommodating, offering suggestions for transportation, food and activities.

Owners are very courteous and nice, the basement is well decorated and modern, better than many hotel rooms, and it even includes some free snacks and drinks, the kind of stuff you wish you could take in certain hotels but will cost you $5 to $10 each. I picked this place because of the great reviews and I found out I did the right thing. Highly recommended.

Cute place, great host

Juan is super friendly and accommodating. The place is cute and clean and the complimentary snacks were a really nice touch. Really appreciate everything! The location may not be the best part of DC, but very close to the metro with affordable parking.

Best hosts

The extra amenities that were provided went above and beyond any other place, we have stayed in. The host was on vacation so we did not get to meet him but his assistant was very gracious and helpful. Overall our stay was fantastic. The neighborhood looked a little sketchy but the people seemed nice. Getting to the Metro was super easy and we used it to go into DC. We would stay here again and are very thankful for having such a great host.

Home base in Washington

Great place, very efficient, very secure. Everything was very clean and there were lots of little things in the apartment to make our stay easier. Would definitely stay here again!
