This is a quaint rental and meets the description provided. I had plenty of space. I traveled to visit my son at Howard University, and it make a great base for us to visit, share meals and be comfortable. It was really easy to find street parking any time of the day/night. I felt really comfortable in the neighborhood and in the home. It was close to shopping, restaurants, and other activities. My host was very prompt on answering any inquiries I had and made me feel at home. My host provided great directions (if taking public transportation) to the home, and how to access the home.The kitchen and bath were stocked as described. I had a great experience staying in this home.

Enjoyed my stay. The place was clean and the location was very convenient to everything that I needed. Parking was never a problem and I was always able to find parking within steps of the apartment. The snacks provided my the host were much appreciated and definitely came in handy. One issue I had was locating the apartment when my Uber drive dropped me off. It was a bit scary as my flight arrived in late and I didn't make it to the apartment until after midnight. The streets were dark and it was difficult to find. My note to self would be not to check in so late next time. The other is the sound of the squeaky floors and foot steps when the residents in the apartment above walked through there apartment.

Hello- Thanks so much for your feedback! I always try to make sure guests have lighting when they arrive. Both the front porch lights on the upper an lower level are kept on all the time. And, the lights in the guesthouse living room and bedroom are on. I do this so guests are not walking into a dark house. There’s also a street light directly in front of the rental. I know arriving late a night to an unfamiliar environment can be awkward. However, everything I have the ability to light is on. It is a basement apartment. So you will hear me walk above in the main house. This information is noted in the description of the rental for guests to be aware of prior to arrival. Appreciate the time you took to offer feedback!

This home was cozy and perfect for our 3 day. Close enough to small businesses for a quick walk or scooter ride. Perfect distance from Howard University.

The property is a good 15 minute walk to the Metro Train Station. A straight walk right to the train station. The neighborhood is safe and street parking was available right by the property. The price point is excellent and the property is convenient for 2 people to stay in. All convenience is there if you want to buy groceries and cook for yourself and your guests.

I had a great stay here! Teri was nice and communicative, and it would be almost impossible to find a similar place at such a great price!- Positives: great/safe location, easy access to public transit (nearest bus pick-up 5 minute walk; nearest train station 15 minute walk), and Teri provided some drinks and snacks!- Negatives: bathroom was tight and the property could use some updates.Overall, I had a great stay here and I would recommend this property.

Very convenient to all sites in Washington DC. On street parking was always available. When it was warm, we were able to get cool. When it was cold, we were warm. The unit was clean except for the refrigerater drawer and the throw rugs need to go away. We were comfortable and felt safe. The neighbors were friendly also. No real complaints that matter. Good experience.

Wonderful Vacation

Everything was great!! grocery store walking distance, Metro & bus very close to walk to. Apartment is great clean and very quiet, Had a great time will definitely come back to stay again.
