The ocean was visible from the kitchen, family room and three bedrooms. Everything was clean and decorated beautifully. The only issue we had were the love bugs. In one of the bedrooms there were hundreds of dead bugs in two bedrooms. We called maintenance but they didn't come until the next morning. We swept them up but a few would still get in somehow. They didn't bite and we were told that it was mating season for them and they were all around the area. We didn't let that stop us from enjoying the house and having a good time.we did the bonfire which was awesome! Mention Blue Swell and receive 10% off!

Blue swell on the beach, a beautiful vacation!

This home was just what we needed! We had more room than necessary because one of the families could not come however we decided to keep the vacation and we were glad we did. Everyone had privacy they needed and also time together as well. The views of the beach from the windows and the decks were just gorgeous!The home is beautifully docorated and we had everything we needed. The location was great. Close to anything you could want. We would definitely go back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place to vacation.If I had any complaints it would be that the king size beds down stairs and the guest king upstairs need better mattresses.The master king upstairs was great. My guests who slept on these mattresses complain a lot.The only other issue is when the guest are sleeping downstairs you have to take the stairs upstairs use the bathroom.

Spring Break 2025

The location and house was excellent. Being right there on the beach and steps away from the water was so relaxing and fun. The home was very inviting but the only thing i would do different is make the renter aware of the bell alarm that reminds you the door is open. We didn't know what it was initially thinking it may be an alarm that we did not know how to cut off. We eventually figured out what it was and just pressing that button stopped it. Just would have been nice to know ahead of time what it was. It didn't damper our vacation but it was a little annoying. Overall great spot to relax.

Great sibling reunion

Overall, a great experience. Fantastic location, very clean, amazing view, plenty of parking and tastefully decorated. A few suggestions - chairs in upper left bedroom are worn out and should be replaced, towel hanger missing peg in upper right bath, lower street side bath - door handle pulls off, lower water side bath- sink faucet leaks. Heat pump setting didn't heat but we were able to work around it. Kitchen needs a cutting board, baking sheet, pot holders and scissors. Sliding door area near handle needs to be cleaned outside. It Would be nice to have a cushions on chairs and bench at dining table. If possible, there should be a way to override the alarm on sliding door. It's a bother for all adult occupancy. (perhaps that's a local legal requirement). Just some suggestions - we loved the place and plan to return next year!

Absolute Stellar Place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A group of 13 was initially planned, but one family couldn't make it. So we had four adults and four kids splitting this stellar place. The location was perfect, and the beach was not crowded at all. The patio and hot tub were amazing. We loved the washoff stations and doors leading directly into bathrooms. There was ample parking away from the street. There was much less traffic than down near the Seaside/Seacrest area. The property was very well maintained; I have no complaints at all. The management service was responsive and maintenance had to come by for a small ant problem but fixed it quickly. We highly recommend this place to families with both small and older children. We're already trying to plan a time to come back next year!

Pretty Darn Flawless!

The house was perfect for me and my friends on a beach escape! The house was very clean, good rooms/beds/baths, great deck, no utility/management issues, swift check-out chores, and nothing misleading from the listing. It’s just far enough from the crowded area of PCB, but still close to everything needed. The only “bummer” was that the neighboring house’s dining room lights were so bright that they’d light up the back deck and entire beach at night if they left them on which kinda spoiled the starry nights… aside from that… flawless stay and we’d definitely go back again!

Wonderful Beach House

Great house at a prime spot. The house is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. The views are phenomenal and the proximity to the beach is so convenient. The beds are all comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The extra living space on the second floor was great. While we loved the home and gave it 5 stars, we wish it would have had chairs on the upper balcony. We spent zero time there due to the lack of seating. A beautiful view that was wasted. Secondly, we wish it would have had a grill to properly cook freshly caught fish. All in all, it is a wonderful property and we highly recommend.

Wonderful Week

We loved the property and had a wonderful week. The sleeping arrangements were outstanding. The downstairs setup was wonderful. Our only complaints were the grill outside was way too small, there weren't enough wine glasses (we bought some) and there werent enough baking dishes ( again we bought some). Otherwise we loved it! The location was perfect. We will definitely stay there again!!!

Beautiful View of the Beach

Pros: View from the first floor deck is awesome.You walk right out onto the beach. The hot tub was clean and worked great. The beach was not crowded here. The photos show a condo tower nearby and the public beach access is right next to this house. However, the tower is far enough away that the crowd stayed down there. The public access was not really a problem as there's no parking area for it and limited numbers of people parked on the street and used the access. We just went down the beach a little way and had good privacy. The property itself is nicer than many rentals in this area. The sheets and bedding seemed new. Plenty of fresh towels and washcloths. The cookware was minimal but we mainly ordered in so it didn't matter. Lots of new-looking drinkware and silverware. The property is close to the Carousel grocery and Thomas Donuts, and walking distance to Alvin's Island. Also a good seafood market delivered via Uber Eats and we ate Royal Reds twice. The property manager responded promptly to my vrbo messages and also my texts. Cons: No half bath on 1st floor, only ensuites. The day our stay began, I received a text saying the "Check in Window" was 4-7 pm and it might be close to 7 before we got access. This cause us a lot of stress but we did get in at 4. This property has an outer door to a courtyard, and an entry door to the house. They have separate codes, and we only got one code. The property manager gave us several codes to try and we did get in.

Amazing stay

This home was beautiful and everything we needed it to be! It was super clean, and spacious for our family of 13. We had a wonderful time! The only suggestions I have would be to increase the kitchen supplies, as we had to go out and buy cooking equipment/utensils. Also the beds on the first floor were very firm and family members in those rooms woke with back aches each night. Outside of those things, you just couldn’t beat the convenience and warmth the house has to offer! I would definitely recommend this home and stay here again! Blue Swell, you are AWESOME!
