This is a fantastic house for hosting our multi-generation family vacation. Everyone enjoyed the rooms, views, and especially sitting around the fire pit. We highly recommend and will look forward to staying again!

This property might be the ultimate rental in the Bitterroot Valley area. First, it’s cavernous inside. Comfortable, quiet, and well equipped to handle the maximum number of guests. We were there on some hot days and the A/C kept it all perfect. Perhaps the best part is the view from the deck. We've stayed in local properties with great views. But this one outshines them all. Morning coffee on that deck is heavenly. Stay here and you’ll most likely have the best lodging experience anywhere.

Owners were very reposive and helpful. The house is beautiful and had pretty much everything we needed. The view of the bitterroot river and the outdoor areas were very lovely. Out in the woods enough to enjoy the peace and quite, but still close enough to town for whatever you need.

We had a great time ringing in the New Year at this beautiful property. The photos of the views don’t do it justice, we loved waking up to the river. Plenty of decks and windows to enjoy the outdoors. Our teens loved the pool table. Host was exceptional! Super communicative and also helped us set up a private chef at the house. Highly recommend this property!

Bitterroot Retreat is amazing! We had the BEST stay and everything was simply perfect. This was the perfect choice for our family of 7 with room for everyone. If you are looking to stay in the Bitterroot area of Montana, this is the only place I'd stay.

Family vacation in Montana.

The house is very well maintained and is located right on the Bitterroot river. It has beautiful views of the river and mountains from the deck. It’s close to Hamilton and about a 20 minute drive to Darby.

Family reunion

The Bitterroot Retreat was a beautiful home. Very relaxing atmosphere with wildlife around every day. Just listening to the river flowing and watching the animals was a great way to spend the evenings. Majority of my siblings joined my wife and i for a very relaxing and fun few days. I would highly recommend this beautiful place if you want to get away to relax.

The Bitterroot Retreat was a very impressive home. Spacious, well equipped, clean and an excellent location overlooking the Bitterroot River. Fantastic Stay

Looking for plenty of room for a family gathering or group of friends, this home is perfect! Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, space for everyone to relax. We enjoyed the outdoor deck each day with awesome views of the beautiful Bitterroot river and wildlife. Renae is a wonderful host and provided an accommodation that exceeded our expectation.

This retreat was wonderful. It was our yearly sibling outing. Plenty of room and plenty to do. The house is beautiful. The outdoors is quiet and peaceful. Everything we needed was provided. Owners were very easy to get in touch with and responded very quickly. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a relaxing vacation.

A Week In Hamilton With Family

We own a large property nearby, but no living quarters. Your house is a beautiful property on the river and the perfect place to stay. We rented from previous owner and we were amazed at the improvements you have made. Great experience staying there!

Absolutely wonderful home and location

This was the most wonderful home and made it a vacation that we will remember for a long time to come. The home is exactly as the pictures depict, spacious, well decorated, spacious and lots of amenities. The location was amazing and we spent hours sitting on the back porch, into the late night, listening to the rippling river. Would come back again without hesitation!

Another great visit to the Bitterroot Retreat

This was our second time staying at the Bitterroot Retreat house and we had another fantastic time! The sunsets each night while sitting on the back deck were amazing! The fishing was great and we saw lots of wildlife (there's a mother moose and her calf near the park in downtown Hamilton). Lots of great hikes nearby too. The house was again awesome!
