Enjoy the Bitterroot Mountains to the West and the Sapphires to the East in the new luxurious property in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley twelve miles south of Hamilton, MT. Located on a working ranch with miles and miles of trails for hiking and less that a two minute drive to access the Bitterroot River for blue ribbon fly fishing. The Bunkhouse is not like any ordinary Bunkhouse with re purposed, authentic barn wood cabinets; one of a kind fixtures; beautiful wood finishes throughout and all the comforts of home. Two bedrooms, two and 1/2 bathrooms plus a bonus room downstairs. Stunning mountain views. Enjoy wildlife and birds from the deck plus a hot tub to relax in and witness for yourself why Montana is called the "Big Sky Country". There is no better place for your own private get-a-way. Bring your horse!

The Bitterroot Bunkhouse was an ideal place for our MT visit. The property has wonderful views of the mountains - great stargazing and wildlife viewing. The cabin was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. It’s a place of quiet and relaxation. John and Jani are excellent hosts!

This is a great place. Well constructed and solid. Great views of all he Bitterroot Range. Comfortably furnished. Well stocked kitchen. We enjoy it so much we are renting for the third year in 2027.

We stayed for 4 days in early July. We had a wonderful time enjoying the Bitteroot Valley. The house was just as advertised, beautiful inside and out. Fully furnished and well appointed. The hot tub was just what I needed for morning and evening relaxation! Kind, friendly and accessible owners! I cannot recommend this experience highly enough! Can't wait to visit again, thank you!!!*****

Montana Paradise

This property is everything! Clean, cozy with stunning views. We enjoyed drinking our coffee in the morning and watching the deer graze and soaking in the hot tub with the most breathtaking view. It was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had.

Best Vrbo!

The Bitterroot Bunkhouse exceeded our expectations! The location was perfect and the house beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen stocked with everything we needed. There were unique details and finishings throughout and we especially loved the privacy in the wooded area with deer passing by daily. The deck with the beautiful views was greatly enjoyed and we look forward to a return visit and highly recommend this property.

The Best VRBO in Montana!! The views from every big window is spectacular!! The home is well appointed and had everything we need to be comfortable. The corral is a big plus and adds ambiance to the home place. So nice to be in a quiet place to enjoy the beautiful mtns.

We’ve now stayed in both cabins, and they are both amazing! The Bitterroot Cabin accommodated four of us perfectly. We all had room to roam & early risers on either floor didn’t disturb anyone. Comfy beds, amazing showers, laundry facilities, a kick-butt hot tub, deck overlooking the Bitterroots, & authentic decor. The kitchen had all the cooking gear we needed, and John made sure we had plenty of propane for the bbq (which we used every night). And then there’s the views-Bitterroot Mountains, wildlife, stars, weather, you name it. Can’t wait to come back!!! Thank you so much, John & Jani for sharing your property with us.
