The House, pool, spa, and location were perfect for our spring break vacation. Plenty of room for our family and close to restaurants, the beach, coffee shops, and ice cream.

We had a wonderful stay at Hibiscus House. The home was very clean, well maintained, and offered great amenities that made our time there comfortable and enjoyable. The location was excellent, convenient and perfectly situated for what we needed. The space was more than sufficient for our group, especially since we did not have as many family members as originally planned. The pool and hot tub were an added bonus and really enhanced our stay. We would absolutely recommend Hibiscus House and would gladly stay here again.

Great family getaway

Great spot for our entire extended family to stay. Lots of room and fun for ages 10-55. Close to activities like kayaking Weeki Wachee where we say manatee. Kids and adults enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

The house was beautiful. Everyone enjoyed the house. It was 10 of us in total and we all had enough room not to feel on top of each other. The host was available right away. I only called to confirm I was turning on the pool heater correct.

Perfect family house!

We loved this place for our 3 Gen family and dog. The pool was beautiful, the house was spacious and well set up, with plenty of towels, dishes, even fishing gear and kayaks. We loved it and would definitely rent again. Close to some terrific restaurants and right on the water.

Perfect Getaway For Our Large Family!

Our ((extra)) large family consisting of 5 adults, 5 teenagers, and 4 kids had a great stay! :) plenty of space for everyone and also nice large common areas. Heated pool and hot tub were a hit! As well as the four kayaks available at the property.

Beautiful area and accommodates large group

Overall we enjoyed the stay at Hibiscus House. The pool area was beautiful, however access to the pool is tricky..a metal spiral staircase. The home is decorated nicely, tons of towels and kitchen stuff. Lots of comfortable beds.

Wonderful Place to Stay

The Hibiscus House was a perfect place to stay with a big family. Very spacious and room for everyone to have a great time. The pool and hot tube were the place to be. The canal is very clean and great for kayaking and swimming. Also plenty of depth for a boat if wanted. Can’t wait to visit again.

Great vacation home!

Our family recently stayed at this property for a week. The home is very nice with much open space. Our family does a vacation every 2 years and our group agreed this was the best vacation home we're rented. The host was very responsive to questions before, during, and after our rental was complete.

Would Stay Here Again Without Question

This is a great place to stay. Whatever issues we had, which were minor, the property manager took care of immediately. If you want a stress free vacation location, this is it! Book it today, then get ready for some great fun!

Family Vacation

The house was wonderful. I had all my adult children there and the home offered enough space that we weren’t on top of one another. We had a great time and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Definitely would consider returning.

Worst reservation I have ever made. First, I had to request check-in information on day of arrival, then we arrived at location after check-in time at 4 pm. The house had not been cleaned well, the pool was disgusting, and most importantly there were safety issues with at least three electric outlets in common area. Having small grandchildren with us, this was a major concern. I immediately contacted owner with no initial response. Since we had dinner to make and children to get ready for bed, I waited over an hour and then contacted VRBO. Over the course of the next 1.5 hours I had to send numerous pictures of dirty furniture and beds as well as the disrepair. We finally were able to cancel reservation with a refund. This was a horrible experience; it really has me questioning using VRBO in general.

We’re sorry this stay did not meet your expectations. Prior to arrival, you had requested to cancel the reservation less than a week before check-in, and we explained that the booking fell within VRBO’s cancellation policy timeframe where refunds are typically not available. When you contacted us regarding concerns at the property, I was temporarily unavailable while on a conference call, but I returned your call and sent text messages as soon as possible. We offered to immediately send the cleaning team back to address the cleanliness concerns and also arranged for maintenance to repair the outlets you mentioned. Regarding the pool, we had already contacted the pool service company, and service was scheduled for later that day. Unfortunately, before we had the opportunity to correct these issues, you chose to pursue cancellation through VRBO instead. Given the timing of the earlier cancellation request and the decision to decline our offers to remedy the concerns, it appeared that you had already decided not to proceed with the stay. We take guest feedback seriously and work quickly to address any issues that arise so guests can enjoy their vacation experience.

Thank you for sharing your home with us! We had a great time! Lots of space for the 9 of us to relax, swim and spread out. Close to shopping and some good restaurants. Would recommend staying here!

Hernando get away

Brought the kids down to see their grandparents who live in Timber Pines. Pool and hot tub were a hit. The location on the canal is just beautiful. Owners very easy to get in touch with and we had a great stay.

Hernando beach

Perfect location, the house was very spacious. Perfect outdoor space. The house is older but that did not affect our enjoyment of the house. It was nice to be able to use the kayaks, the kids enjoyed fishing on the dock. The kitchen lacks some of the needed dishes but we got by just fine. Found a few bugs but it is a house in Florida, so it is be expected!
