The BEST PET-FRIENDLY private retreat ON A RIVER away from the hustle of Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, yet not too far away from either.

Imagine relaxing in the private hot tub with the beautiful sound of the river in the background.
Or maybe you want to make s'mores at the fire pit right next to the river.

Feeling adventurous? Get in or go fishing!Great trout fishing right here!

Two queen bedrooms and a futon comfortably sleep six. Satellite TV in all BR, satellite internet, fully pot/pan/utensil-stocked kitchen for cooking

You have full private access to the cabin during your stay.

Two dogs are allowed but MUST be shown in your guest count when booking.

The roads to the cabin are paved until the very end, which is a small section of gravel road. The roads are easily driveable in any car. However, not suitable for motorcycles or trailers and in the winter if there's snow or ice you may want 4WD. Please plan accordingly.

Secluded and private situated on the East Fork of the Little Pigeon River. A true wooded Smokies experience right on the river.

ALL guests in this cabin must be at least 22 years old unless with a parent.

MAX occupancy is 6 people at any given time.

Bath towels and linens for all beds are provided

A starter supply of hand soap, dish soap, and toilet paper are provided. If your stay is longer than a couple days, you should anticipate having to buy more. Food items, coffee, filters, spices, oil, etc are not provided.

The fireplace is electric and not to be used during Spring/Summer or with AC on.

Please make sure you have read the whole listing and house rules before booking.

No refunds for bad weather, so please plan accordingly and make sure you have 4WD if driving during snow/ice.

This is a cabin in the woods; you may see or hear critters and bears. They won't bother you, but be safe and secure your car, and don't leave food/trash accessible!

This property is not suitable for people who have trouble walking up/down stairs, as the living area and kitchen are upstairs.

The property was uncapped, the entire house smelt like mold or mildew, the twinkle lights that are supposed to be in the laundry room didn’t work, the hot tub looks like it’s on the deck, but it’s around back in an area that hasn’t been mowed or weed needed, the hot tub was not near as full as what it should be, there was broken glass near the porch. When I brought some of these things to the owner’s attention, she told me how I could fix it. So the property was not in any way shape or form ready for me to be there. I actually requested my money back and did not stay there because as soon as I walked in after about 10 minutes, my throat begin to close up from allergies from the mold.

We’re sorry the guest felt this way, but we do want to clarify a few points for future guests. We took her concerns seriously and immediately sent our maintenance technician to inspect the cabin, and our cleaning company also followed up and inspected the property. Both confirmed that there was no mold present and that there was no mold or mildew odor inside the cabin. The hot tub was also full and ready for use when she arrived, and our cleaners have photos from before check-in confirming its condition. The cabin is located on a private lot near the water, so the hot tub area is situated around the back of the property as shown in the listing. We responded to her concerns right away and made efforts to address them, but she ultimately chose not to stay at the property. We value honest guest feedback and always take concerns seriously, but we also want future guests to have the most accurate information about what was found and verified by our team.

What an amazing vacation! The cabin was so comfy and clean. I loved sitting outside on the patio surrounded by nature. Close enough to Pigeon Forge but far enough to be able to get away from the crowds. I would definitely stay here again with my family.

The cabin is very clean and we were comfortable. We loved sitting outside and listening to the river roll by. We also brought our golden retriever along who LOVED the privacy and being able to run and play in the water! We saw lots of fish but didn’t have any luck. The drive up is not too winding. About 15 mins to the nearest store so come up prepared. The river and quiet road made for great walks with the dog - the distance to the Gatlinburg entrance of the national park (for the parking tag) was about 30 mins. Bed was comfortable, hot water was hot, and the kitchen was fully stocked. Host is very accommodating offering early check in options, and left a s’mores bar that we took advantage of. Perfect stay!

Great cabin in the woods

Cabin was as described in the listing. Family had a great time and would stay again. Everything was easy from check in to check out and the owner made sure they were available for any issues.

Lovely stay

We had a great time during our stay. Our kids and dogs especially loved the river and being able to walk and play anytime. It is a very private area and not too far from town. Clean and just as described in the listing.

Perfect setting for a mountain vacation!!

The cabin was rustic & cozy. Good for fishing, tubing & swimming as suggested. Take drinking water since the water there has an odor even showering the water smells. The stairs can a challenge to older individuals.

On the river

The cabin was very clean and the location is great. It is secluded but still only about 20 minutes to Gatlinburg. My son loved being so close to the river.

Everything was very sweet and made to feel right at home, I appreciate the kind words and sweetness from the owner. It is exactly what I was looking for.. Cabin with all amenities including washer and dryer that helps a lot! WiFi, kitchen and moreA beautiful tucked away area that sits the cabin by itself nestled on a hill with a flowing stream below, not far from gatlinburg and surrounding areas. Love love love love this and thank you for having us! 5 stars for everything

Great time. Very relaxing and peaceful. Make sure you bring your fishing gear. 30 mins away from all the attractions but well worth it
