Lakehouse Val de Monts

Very clean and well equipped. Owner easy to contact. Lake was very quiet and lots of fish. Boats in good condition. Would stay again.

Beautiful modern lake house- everything you could want to unwind, absolutely quiet and peaceful, perfect for a get away from the city. Very accommodating and thoughtful

Awesome cottage with plenty of water toys

The house is very clean and well stocked with towels and linens. The kitchen has plenty of plates, bowls, pots/pans and utensils for cooking family meals. We enjoyed the paddle boards, kayaks, noodle, and fishing boat along with PFDs in all sizes. Easy to enjoy being on the lake all day!

Beautiful property in a wonderful location

I, my husband, and four of our friends stayed for a long weekend and had an amazing time. The cottage is beautiful and exactly as pictured. The lake is incredible and was fantastic for a swim, especially with the really hot weather over the weekend. It's a gorgeous area, close enough to the city to be convenience but far enough out to really feel remote and out of the way, and the natural landscape is magnificent. The cottage is very comfortable and has all the amenities you could need. Cannot recommend it highly enough!

Wonderful week at the cottage

We just returned from a wonderful week at this charming cottage, and we can't wait to go back! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and relaxed. Jason was a fantastic host, incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with. He even had the indoor fireplace ready for us on a chilly night and providing an extension cord for our EV. The cottage itself was perfect for our needs. We loved spending evenings playing pool in the basement and cozying up by the fire. Having an abundance of firewood readily available meant we could enjoy the fireplace without any hassle. The lake was the highlight of our trip! The water was crystal clear, and we had so much fun exploring the many little islands by canoe. The road down to the dock is a bit steep, but trust us, the view and easy access to the water are worth it. We visited in early October, and the fall foliage was just starting to turn – it was absolutely breathtaking paddling through the vibrant colors reflected on the lake. We did experience a brief power outage, but Jason was quick to reassure us that it's a normal occurrence in the area and it was resolved within minutes. The electric heating in the cottage kept us nice and toasty throughout the night, even with the cooler autumn temperatures. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

Fantastic cabin and hosts

Cabin was beautiful and very well equipped. The hosts Jason and Cindy made the stay stress free with lots of notes around the property and easy communication. Property had plenty to keep us busy including countless board games, a pool table, kayaks, a boat and paddle boards, and a fire pit with plenty of wood. Kitchen was well equipped as well. The screened in porch, deck, and dock were all perfect to hang out on. Would definitely stay here again!

It was wonderful, everything we needed was provided, lots of watercraft and other items, plenty to do rain or shine. It is a beautiful, well kept property

Wonderful lakeside cottage

We had a great time staying at this cottage. It was very clean and well furnished. There were plenty of paddle boards and kayaks to keep the kids busy, and the lake is beautiful. We very much appreciated the kindness and responsiveness of Cindy and Jason. Thank you! We will definitely be back!

Awesome Vacation

Our family spent 6 nights and we couldn't be happier with the accommodations and hospitality shown by Cindy and Jason. Their place exceeded our expectations! A home away from home. From the initial contact and throughout the stay, communications and information from them were quick and accurate. We will not hesitate about staying here again in the future.
