Good location. Nice first floor bathroom. Nice living room. Would like more towels than one per person for 4 nights. Need a cutting board and hand towels in the bathrooms.

Suzie, thank you for your review. We are pleased that you were happy with the location and size of the home. I was a little suprised to see your comment about the cutting board, as there are at least 3 boards in the kitchen drawers. The cleaning crew also leaves a hand towels for every guest. The washer and dryer were available to you, if you needed to refresh your towels as we customarily only provide one towel per guest.

I had a great set up for people traveling with more than one family. Sometimes communication was a bit slow, but also our Internet was out for several days. Nice view of the lake from the porch.

We were waiting for the code via text or email to get in still at the 4:00 PM check-in time. We finally went to the property to see if someone was there. It was past 4 when I messaged the host for the code. We struggled with the code to work. We finally gained access to the key box instead. It was hard to remember to put the key back in the box for all of us to use as we came and went. Other than checking in, the property suited us well. The main floor was adorable and fit us all well.

Thank you for your feedback! We apologize for the frustration with check-in. We had recently installed a new electronic keypad and unfortunately experienced some technical issues with it. We understand how inconvenient that was and appreciate your patience while getting access to the property. The key box was available as a backup, with a shared key for the group to use as needed. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the property and found the main floor comfortable and accommodating for your group. Thank you for staying with us!

Great place in a nice location. Lots of room to park, which was important only because we brought our boat. The place was well appropriated, both furniture and lighting wise, and also in the kitchen, which has everything you need (the coffee bar area is really cool). Really, the only complaint we had is something that we read in other reviews, too: the internet is spotty. We found ourselves needing to reboot the router a few times and trying to stream shows on the TV was a challenge at times due to the weak signal. But if that is the only complaint we have, you know it's a great spot.

Golf Getaway

Perfect cozy cottage for our foursome to enjoy a fall escape. Very clean and well appointed, would highly recommend.

Repeat visit

This was our groups’ second stay, it is a perfect place for 4 couples. The new coffee bar is great addition. Great location, great space for gathering, as we stayed in winter. Kitchen was great, owner responsive to our questions/needs. Would stay again!

Great family vacation

We had a great time! While it was a short drive to Beulah beach, we did many other beaches and a ton of other things locally. The house isn’t super updated, but it worked well for our family especially for the price. We will be back!

Great Family Gathering Place

Daughters came from Florida, Texas and Michigan to reminisce childhood vacations on Crystal Lake. Lakeview is perfect for gathering around the fire , inside and out. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Will return, if possible. Thank you , Bob, Lynn and Family

Cute home with lots of character

Check in/check out very easy. Listing is as described. So much character & cute details in this historical home!! Everything very clean. Great coffee/hot chocolate bar! All bathrooms & bedrooms are upstairs, that might be an issue for some but wasn’t for us. Great stay - thank you!!

Great lakeside inn feel!

My group was visiting the area for a short golf trip to Arcadia and Crystal Downs. This cottage was an ideal location between the two properties. This cottage is reminiscent of a quaint inn or B&B. Comfortable beds, no shortage of amenities, and clean throughout. The hostess was clear and concise on check in, and gave me some great recommendations on local restaurants in Frankfort. The next time we’re fortunate enough to visit the area, I’ll be sure to request this again.

Adorable House in Beulah

This 4 Bedroom house was adorable!! Very well kept. 4 older couples who came to visit Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City. We found this house to be relaxing and has great gathering areas in the dining area and living room. There are no bathrooms on the main floor, only upstairs. We loved the coffee bar. The host was very easy to work with . Definitely would recommend.

Ironman Stay!

We stayed as a family with 3 young children while a parent completed the Ironman- the house was wonderful for that! The distance to Frankfort was entirely doable, the view of Crystal Lake was stunning especially at sunset, and the home itself had tremendous charm. For anyone with mobility issues that cannot handle stairs, there is no bathroom on the main floor. Not an issue for us!

Wonderful, charming property

Janet forgot to forward the check-in info so we were unable to check in on time. I was able to reach her within an hour and get the code for the key lockbox. Warning: the code is for one-time use only!
