Our host Michele is great to work with, The floor plan is well thought out, the property is beautiful, and the location is very convenient to access Frankfort and Lake Michigan.

Michelle is a fantastic host and the house is both reasonably priced and well located. We especially appreciated the many comfortable beds and clean bathrooms, and Michelle even lent us a couple of beach chairs and extra towels. The beautiful butterflies and hummingbirds visiting the lovely flower bed made it even more special. We would absolutely stay there again!

My family and I stayed here for my wedding weekend. We drove to the nearby beach for our wedding. We had 5 couples in total that stayed during a weekend, so 5 couples had their own private room which worked out real well. We also were able to enjoy our family style wedding dinner, with much help from the kitchen space. It was a very nice place to stay at that accommodated us well in one of the happiest days of our lives

You all are welcome back anytime ! My housekeeper said that you took excellent care of our home and I am so grateful to have had you guys as guests. Just remember we have another home similair in size on the 10 acres down the ridge ! we can accomidate a pretty nice sized group ! We are putting another waterfall in the Fall .......

We fell in love with the land and location immediately and began building in 2022. now we have multiple options for dfifferent size groups with not only privacy and a prime location but waterfalls on all properties ! You are welcome again as a guest and hoping to surprise you with even more beautiful improvements.

Definitely Recommend

Great house for large groups, close to Lake Michigan and the quaint little town of Frankfort. The owner was accommodating and very easy to work with. Would definitely return to this location.

Great home!

Had a great stay with family. There were eight of us and there was plenty of room with comfortable beds. Very quiet location and close to Frankfort. The kitchen had everything we needed. I would not hesitate to return.

Great Property

We enjoyed our stay very much. if you are looking for a quiet place to get away to this is it. It is close to town with many great things to do but yet quiet with no one bothering you. Michele was easy to work with and reassured us of a few mishaps and everything turned out great.

Frankfort Comfort Retreat

Frankfort weekend

Our stay was great! There is ample space for a large group. Close to downtown, Crystal lake. Had everything we needed for our stay. Michele is responsive and personable. Would recommend this property/stay again in the future.

Can't Wait To Go Back!

We had never been to the Frankfurt area, and now we wish we would have found it sooner! The town and surrounding are were just right, avoiding the massive crowds and construction in Traverse City. We can't wait to go back! The house was fantastic and located right outside of town, and near the boat ramp for Crystal Lake. We loved how easy the access to everything was.

One of our favorite places

My family 7 adults and 5 children, we all enjoy the house. It was close enough to the downtown area and beaches. The shops were nice to visit ( we bought a few things) We all enjoyed the view from the park and the beach. We had a great time and will book the house again ( hopefully soon) Thank you so much. Awsome Stay

Michele is a wonderful person. She explained every details before the trip. The house was too good, Spacious , clean and equipped with all needed stuff. Some more bigger utensils are expected as the house can accommodate 10 plus guest. The surrounding of house is breathe talking. I will definitely recommend the stay to others. We loved it....

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful week here with our family, including 9 adults and 8 children aged 2-13. The house is much more spacious than it appears in the exterior picture. The lower level family room was great for the kids. Kitchen is well-equipped and the small kitchen on the lower level was great for extra refrigerator space. The beds were great—probably the most comfortable we’ve ever had in a vacation rental. Michelle was very helpful with information about the area, and very responsive to any needs or questions we had. It’s a beautiful home in a gorgeous area, and we’d love to return!

2024 vcay

We stayed for a week with our 4 grown children, 4 spouses /significant other, 7 grandchildren, and 3 dogs. We had a fantastic time. There was more than enough room for comfortable sleep for everyone. The kitchen was convenient and well appointed. We enjoyed the hot tub. The location was excellent and we enjoyed the lakes and beaches, small towns, lovely vista and canoeing, tubing, golfing, and amenities at Crystal Mountain. Michele was a great host and friendly and easy to contact. All in all a great stay! I hope to be back!

The house was the perfect size for our family of 9 that included 4 younger grandchildren. The kids all slept in the bunk bed room on first floor and loved it.The distance to town and a very nice beach was only a few minutes by car.There were plenty of beds, bathrooms and couches and chairs on the main and lower floors.The kitchen was well stocked and the back deck was perfect to eat meals on overlooking the wooded tree line. We spent a few late evenings after kids went to bed enjoying conversations on the deck and lower level family room area. Our daytime excersions included convenient drives to Frankfort, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Crystal Lake and Arcadia Bluffs for golf.
