Beautiful updated home for your entire family-on the canal, close to SXS trails!
Welcome to St. Helen and The 4 Seasons Family Retreat! Our property is located on the Golden Eye Canal feeding into Lake St. Helen. Lake St. Helen is a 2400 acre All Sports Lake with great fishing and surrounded by nature not lake homes or cabins. The area itself is an all season location with beaches, boating, side by side and snowmobile trails. This is a phenomenal area to vacation year round in any season.
The home has brand new furnishings and bedding. There are 5 total bedrooms with two masters, one up and one down with attached en-suites. A total of 4 full bathrooms 2 up and 2 down makes this home an excellent place to stay with multiple families. The open floor plan that leads out to a large deck and Carolina room is perfect for gathering and spending time together. The kitchen is large and open with a unique concrete countertop, a peninsula for seating and is fully stocked with quality pots and pans if you desire to cook while on vacation. The living area is comfortable and large with plenty of seating with a 55” Smart TV to stream all of your favorite shows. The main level also has a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer.
If you are looking for a great place to stay that is completely renovated, clean, well stocked and with all new furnishings look no further than The Four Season Family Retreat!
We are conveniently located only 9 miles from the wedding venue, The Barn at Evergreen Farms. We are also very close to Houghton Lake, golf courses; The Dream, The Nightmare and Forest Dunes and many restaurants are within a 5-25 minute drive.
**Disclosure; there are exterior security cameras on the property, one located above the front door and the other on the back of the home facing the canal.

The house was great. Modern and updated and clean. Access to the water so you can keep your boat right out the back door.

This house was perfect! We had 9 adults and everyone had plenty of room. The house was extremely clean and exactly what we expected. We came to St. Helen to ride our Polaris Generals on the trails. The trails were close to the house and the town was ORV friendly. We were able to ride in three different directions so each day we had a different ride. They were excellent trails. The communication with Cathie was easy and she responded quickly. We will definitely be back!

An absolutely great house. Enough room for 8 adults and 2 kids. Kitchen was well stocked and the deck out back was great. We spent pretty much every night out there. The town of St. Helen was great. Make sure to check out Clear Lake Bar and Grill. Great food and atmosphere! Part of the family went out on an ORV for the day and had an awesome time on the trails. Thanks to RZR Ripn’ rentals for that. Our host was wonderful and we loved our stay. Would definitely come back again. This area of Michigan was just beautiful.

Not our first stay at this property in St Helen- we enjoy the ride in/out location for the great ORV trails in the area. The house accommodates our group of 8 easily, has great amenities and is always clean.

Property was in great shape, very clean and up to date. Being able to keep our boat docked at the house made the vacation so much easier and enjoyable. We like the area and come up often. We liked it so much we had booked the same spot for next year while we were still here.

St helen getaway
This house was very clean and well supplied with linens. Gorgeous relaxing home with all the accommodations . Great location and very quite. Definitely one of the best !

UTV & ATV Riding Vacation
The home was beautiful and the property location was wonderful. The property manager was great, very attentive to all our needs and requests. We would definitely love to stay again!

Beautiful & cozy!
The home was perfect! Super clean I can not complain, spacious for all 13 of us. Don’t forget about the location and view of everything near by. Will definitely book again!

Accommodations were so nice! Very clean and updated home. From start to finish very easy in and out! Definitely recommend to others!

Awesome family vacation home
We had a group of 10 adults. The house is decorated very nicely, spacious and super clean and well appointed. Perfect place and a really great time!

Great Getaway!
We’ve stayed in a number of VBRO homes and this was by far the best one we have stayed at. The house eas clean and spacious and had plenty of room for all 8 of us. And Lake St Helen was a wonderful lake!
