Cute 2-Bed 2- Bath Cottage in Kirkwood MO

Visit the “Gateway to the West” and stay in our newly built Little Blue House in Kirkwood (a suburb of St. Louis). Very bright and open, this charming, one story home will be perfect for anyone from busy kiddos to LOLs (little old ladies) who can't run up and down stairs anymore! Accomodations include 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, as well as a pull out sofa with a queen size bed. We have recently added a pack n play for our youngest guests. We have plenty of parking right next to the entrance. This darling house comes with keyless check-in, a fully equipped kitchen, stacked washer/dryer, on demand water heater, and high speed wifi. Smart TVs in each bedroom and the living room as well. Remote control zoned heating/cooling ensures everyone stays comfy no matter what the weather brings. Even the bamboo floors are heated for those cold winter mornings! Situated off the interstate, this cozy house is a short drive to several restaurants, shopping, downtown, the Arch, Ball-Park Village, and a host of other attractions that St. Louis has to offer. The Magic House, a delightful Children's Museum, is less than five minutes away.

This house was very cute and had everything you would need for a comfortable trip - including snacks and baby gear, which we appreciated! The neighborhood was a little inconvenient to get to.

Excellent Stay

The house was very clean and we really liked everything about it. Great bedrooms and bathrooms, and the kitchen was great. The host left snacks for us and also keurig coffee. We did like the location, but at night the noise from cars was a bit loud. The hosts were wonderful and we would definitely recommend the house. It was easy to get to a major highway and we enjoyed Kirkwood.

Felt like home!

House is great. Comparing to other VRBO pics, this house has more that makes it seem like a home. Very easy to make reservations, host is easily reached and entry is very secure. I’ve already booked my next stay!

comfortable and cozy retreat

The Little Blue House in Kirkwood was everything we needed it to be for a 2-nite weekend stay in the STL area. Our purpose of the weekend retreat was to take in a 'Wine Walk' in the Italian Hill area of St. louis on Saturday. Our house was a short 20 minute drive there and we had numerous dining opportunities both on the Hill and in Kirkwood MO for our dining experience.

Second stay here

This was our second stay at the Little Blue Cottage. It was just as welcoming and comfortable as we remembered it. Lots of little extra touches that make it feel like home. This will be our “go to” place when we come to St. Louis!

Charming Kirkwood cottage

This is a lovely small home, meticulously set-up for guests - everything had our comfort in mind. Lovely, charmingly appointed rooms. Attention to all details to make a visitor welcome. I totally recommend this wonderful home to those visiting this area of St. Louis. Close to major highways, easy shopping of all sorts, but mostly a wonderful home.

Family trip to St.Louis

We traveled with our three kids (8, 7 & 4) and stayed in the cottage. The house was very clean, organized, and well-stocked. We found the home to be located near a lot of the attractions we were interested in. It was a welcoming stay with homemade jam and packaged snacks upon our arrival! The kids enjoyed playing with games and Legos that were available for our use. Mimi was very easy to communicate with and responsive with any questions. Overall a great stay and would definitely return!

Beautiful cottage

We had the best time at this happy, bright cottage. Truly, everything was perfect. The owners are lovely and clearly put a lot of love and care into this space. Our group ranged from a 2.5 year old to a 70 year old and we all had a great and comfortable stay. The kitchen was very well-appointed and we had everything we needed to make breakfast each day before setting out for the day. The washer and dryer in unit was also a blessing given how quickly our kids got their clothes messy. Thank you for the snacks and the homemade jam. What a wonderful treat. We will be back soon!

Love the Little Blue House

My wife and I have stayed in this charming house multiple times. The hosts are exceptional and the location is convenient to shopping and Interstate access. We will be back.

Wonderful!

This house was so beautifully decorated and cozy. It had everything we needed such as nice towels, toiletries, dishes for cooking and eating, and even throw blankets for cuddling. That made our stay so pleasant and relaxing! I will be staying here every time I return to St. Louis .

Just what we needed

We were in the area due to a family emergency and needed a place to stay on short notice. Mimi was great to work with, and the check-in process was simple. The house was immaculate and has obviously received some tender loving care. Appreciated the ample parking space.
