From ease of booking to excellent condition of property all was perfect. Beautiful serene location yet easy to get anywhere local. Our dog loved it as well :)

Could've used more pots and pans, we cooked every meal but one. Plenty of spices and seasonings available, that was a plus! It snowed about 6” and no-one came to shovel the walkway. The driveway was plowed so that helped. Linens and towels provided. plenty of lounging space for 5 of us which was a huge plus for relaxing after a day of skiing. Overall the house served our purposes!!!

I'm so happy you had a nice time and very glad you reached out about staying again. We do try to provide plenty of cooking supplies, including pots and pans, but we can increase how many pots and pans are there (we also enjoy cooking) As far as the snow goes, as you can see from the pictures we get a lot of snow in the winter. We try to make sure the stairs are shoveled prior to your arrival and then provide salt sand and a shovels because we do typically get daily snow that we can't have someone on standby at all times. Vermont Getaway

The cabin was spacious and well stocked. It’s on a quiet dirt-road which made it perfect for our kids and dog to play and run outside. We really enjoyed our time close to some beautiful lakes, hikes and bike rides.

Such a lovely stay!

Our stay at Black Dog Lodge was truly great! It’s a beautiful lodge that had everything we needed. The layout was perfect and allowed everyone a space to hang and gather. It was a treat!

Wonderful spacious getaway near Killington!

We were so happy with every aspect of our family’s spring break stay at this spacious, clean gem of a home. The kitchen was well epuipped for dining in when we wanted, and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Looking forward to a return visit!

Cabin Retreat

The cabin was spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. Everything you needed was provided. Check-in was smooth and easy. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Great for skiing st Killington

Victoria and Erica were wonderful hosts, everything was as expected and they were very responsive. Graciously arranged for extra snow plowing due to some pretty significant snowfall. Had room for three couples and kids, 10 in all, very comfortably. Would stay again!

Great home and beautiful secluded property

This was our first trip to Vermont and a great starting point to explore the area. Views from the second floor deck are tremendous, and the location is very private yet close enough to major roadways and local points of interest. The hosts make it an easy and relaxing experience with good communication and thoughtful amenities. We loved our stay and would return!

A-Plus A-Frame

Had our first family ski trip here and it went so well, we're planning to make it an annual thing! Property was perfect for us - very clean with a well stocked kitchen and the kids loved the loft!

Great place, everyone had their space

“We had a wonderful time staying here! The view was absolutely beautiful, and we truly enjoyed the peaceful setting. The kitchen could use some upgrades—some of the cookware was worn, and the oven needed a little extra cleaning. If you plan to cook a lot, bringing a few favorite pots might be helpful. That said, the location and overall experience made for a great stay, and we would love to visit again!”

Lovely home in the woods!

My family and I loved our stay at the Black Dog Lodge! It was cozy, clean, and well decorated. It is perfectly situated outside of Woodstock, VT. Just to note, it is on an un-paved road on a slightly remote street with other houses scattered here and there, but we felt very safe. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for an outdoorsy adventure in VT!

Vermont Trip

The home was beautiful and so spacious. Personally next time I would pick something closer to more activities (which was an error on my planning). We enjoyed our stay so much though and did get to go to the waterfall nearby and we drove into Woodstock. Thank you so much!

Okemo Ski Trip

We had a great time staying at the Black Dog Lodge for our February ski trip. The house was perfect for our two families (4 adults, 4 kids). The kids loved the loft space. There was plenty of space to spread out and relax. The house is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The weather was warm and we were able to enjoy the deck and outdoor fire pit. It was the perfect location to Okemo, only 20 minutes. Would definitely stay here again!

Vermont Family Vacation

We needed a place close to Bridgewater&Woodstock to visit old friends-this was perfect! We loved our downtime - relaxing on the deck and watching baseball and US Soccer! The house was clean and had room for everyone to have their own bed! Kristin was responsive and gave clear directions for check in and out. We also enjoyed visiting the nearby Calvin Coolidge site, Plymouth Cheese Factory (what a cool place!) and Long Trail Brewery even though it wasn’t part of our plan!
