Dream fulfilled again

A great, efficient, well cared for property for a couple to use as a base camp for exploring the wonders of Eleuthera. Wonderful communication with owner and local staff. The cottage has everything you need and a beautiful view of the turquoise waters of the bight-side of the island. Convenient access to snorkel and observe tropical fish. If you’re lucky, dolphins, rays, and turtles are not unusual to see.

Caribbean Dreams

From the minute we walked into Caribbean Dreams, we felt right at home! We loved how clean this rental was. It was decorated beautifully and the view of the water through the sliding doors was amazing!!! We will be back in the spring!

Cozy, Bright and Special

It's all true...Caribbean Dream is comfortable, well-equipped and has an amazing view. We enjoyed lazying in the morning, watching the light change on the water. We looked forward to home after a day out. Gil, Billy, Brenda, Lisa and Seneque are all so kind and helpful. Thank you all! It's more than just a rental. It's a well-loved happy home in paradise.

Beautiful House and Property

This house was perfect for my wife and I. Only a four minute drive from Rainbow Bay Beach and 15 minutes from receivers beach with several good restaurants and grocery stores in the area if you don't want to venture out far. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. It was excellent all around and Gil was a great host.

Caribbean dream

Was a very nice clean place to stay. The sea out the front window was so fun to wake up to and go look out. Thank you Gil for all of your help with rebooking and all the recommendations that you gave us! Was very fun and we had a blast! Great place for just 2 people.

Breathtaking

View & serenity were outstanding. Perfect location- close to James Cistern & Rainbow Beach (our favorite). Loved the shaded porch, all of the kitchen & beach supplies we needed, the grill & lots of info about the island. It was just well thought out & convenient. Response time was quick for any questions. It really felt like home during our 2 week stay!

My Caribbean dream 🌴🌊

Dès notre arrivée nous avons senti que cette propriété était faite pour nous❣️Tout y était, même plus! Nous aimons cuisiner et n’avons manqué de rien. Tout est bien ordonné! La mer devant, lorsque les vents étaient calmes et que la marée était basse, nous a permis de faire de la plongée en apnée !! Nous retournerons à cette charmante demeure. Merci à Mr Gil❣️

Dream come true

Caribbean Dream was just what we needed. The house was the perfect size for two of us, exceptionally clean (seriously - spotless!) and had everything we needed - an incredible view of the water + sunsets, well stocked kitchen, beautiful grounds. The location in Rainbow Bay was fantastic. We loved our stay and would absolutely come back.

Secluded Oasis

Had a fantastic 12 night stay at Caribbean Dream! Exceeded my expectations. The owner was wonderful to work with. Excellent location for a home base to venture out from. The property had everything we needed. It was very comfortable, peaceful, and had lovely surroundings. We would definitely stay there again. We loved exploring and snorkeling the many beautiful beaches Eleuthera has to offer.

Secluded Gem

This is no income property, you can tell by every well thought out detail the owners of this house use it for themselves…this house is very very private on an extremely quiet road….the ocean view is just stunning…the house has everything you need and more than you can imagine to cook with, perfect sized grill with a propane tank for 2 people…bed is like sleeping on a cloud it’s so comfy and snuggly…the house was spotless when we entered and actually had cleaning supplies if you are like me and like to sweep your floors on vacation..lol…I would rent this house again in a heartbeat…thank you for a wonderful stay in your amazing piece of heaven..

Beautiful home

The home exceeded my expectations. Had everything you could possibly need, and then some. It was fully equipped, from the kitchen, to the living room, to the sleeping accommodations. Everything was in working order and completely clean. We felt very comfortable and at home the very first day. The host was also great to work with. And the view from the living room door sliders couldn't have been better.

Time in Paradise

We were looking for a quiet vacation to rest, read and enjoy the beach. We were able to do this very well at this property. It is well-maintained, clean and has nice amenities, Really wonderful time!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The views were amazing and the location was close to some interesting sites. Gil was responsive and gave some good guidance for our adventure. The property was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

Second Honeymoon

Eleuthera was amazing and the rental house was perfect!!! Clean, great location, right on the Caribbean, beautiful quiet beach down the road. There were chairs, coolers, towels, etc. to use. Wonderful dining close by. Would definitely go back to Eleuthera and would definitely rent this house again. Communication with owner was amazing.

Exceeded expectations

I just want to come back as soon as possible. The communication with the host was timely and easy to follow. The cottage was easy to find, beautiful and better than described. Very clean and well maintained The property is very private and quiet, without feeling isolated. There is water access and great snorkeling, but the shoreline is iron shore and can be tricky. We were there with the full moon so there were moon jellyfish too. The property has Incredible views that match the beauty of the island. The caretakers, (the Stubb's) are just down the street and incredibly nice welcoming people that have a BBQ every Friday and Saturday. We spent the entire 2 weeks finding yet another beautiful place for the day, watching the sunset from rainbow bay beach and spending the evening relaxing on the back deck. Favorite beaches preachers cave beach, French leave, twin cove, and Venus pools. Regarding my concerns when planning our trip: The tapwater is kinda brackish tasting but the cottage came with 2, 5 gallon water bottles that can be exchanged at big Rock. The roads were ok, just be careful when taking some of the beach roads, as some of them just disappear. Driving was strange at first, left side and there's not much shoulder, there are some potholes, also no lines, lights, or stop lights. It's a rural island with cow crossing signs too. Really no worse than any rural area. Food; Big Rock store had everything we wanted, I didn't find the food extremely expensive except for chips, cereal and prepackaged stuff. Fruit, veg, eggs local bread about the same $. Pork, chicken and beef are available, frozen. We got lobster & fish from the fishermen and (omg) fresh stone crab, though I think I broke his heart a little when he had to tell me how to cook it :) I've never seen it fresh before :) We used east&final for drinks. Beer and soda are really expensive. Liquor is cheaper but then you have to buy mixes. Wines are available. Restaurants, we didn't go to the fancy tourist ones & the cost was less than what we would pay here anyway. Shout out to Delish, excellent salads and cracked lobster, Leo rose burgers and grouper, cravings with the cinnamon rolls. The food truck by Berchers has the best wraps & cookies. The best meal, lobster cooked as instructed by the fisherman, who also took the time to teach me about lobsters :) can't say enough about how kind and gracious everyone we met were. The island, The people, even the potcakes stole my heart.

Paradise Found

My husband and I stayed at Caribbean Dream for five days. We were extremely happy with the property. It was exactly as described and very clean. Upon walking into the house we immediately felt at home. The surrounding property is beautiful with the Caribbean right at the edge of the property. Sitting on the porch in the morning with coffee and pastry from the Bakery started each day on a positive note. The owner was so helpful and responsive. He quickly answered my questions, offered suggestions and assisted me in arranging a rental car. We will definitely book this property each time we return to this beautiful island.

ENJOYED!!

“Enjoy” was the word we heard as soon as we landed on the beautiful island of Eleuthera and that we did!!! Our 3 week stay at, “My Own Caribbean Dream”, was nothing short of fabulous!! We were greeted with fresh island flowers inside and out. Our home away from home was extremely clean, comfortable and very well appointed with everything we needed and things we didn’t even know we needed! The view can NOT be beat … whether you’re sitting on the couch inside or sitting right next to the gorgeous azure colored water outside! It truly is a Caribbean Dream! We got up early every morning (and wanted to!!) to explore. From caves to gorgeous pink sand beaches to every road side grill with locally prepared bbq, conch fritters, cracked conch, rice and peas etc.. The people of this island are some of the friendliest we’ve ever met. Our host, Gil, was no exception. He was so very kind and accommodating to any of our request or concerns. My husband and I feel so blessed to have found this jewel and are already making plans for our return. We highly recommend “Our Own Caribbean Dream” to anyone who wants to bring home wonderful memories in their hearts …

Relaxation to the max

Simply put Caribbean Dream is a reality! We wanted a quieted secluded home away from home - bingo! Unexpected bonus features like the Caribbean right at the edge of the property with excellent snorkeling! Sunsets were amazing! Awesome beaches nearby. If you want crowded busy beaches, you’ll be very disappointed. They’re all exquisite and few fellow beach people. Grocery store nearby and liquor store too Never met an unfriendly local. Brenda’s BBQ was divine. Our host Gil is super gracias, responsive, and accommodating. Drawbacks? ZERO

Caribbean Dream is a Peaceful Retreat!

The Carribean Dream location is as the name suggests: a Carribean Dream. The snorkeling from the property was unexpectedly wonderful: there's a large variety of fish species to see. From this central location we were able to visit many of Eleuthera's beaches and places. From preacher's cave beach to Rainbow beach to James Point beach to Popponi beach and to Ten Bay beach, just to name a few. The owner got us in touch with a car rental which was very helpful. We spent 7 days in this tropical paradise and definitely will come back. PS The bed was very soft and comfortable to get a good rest before each day's adventure.
