As a guest at Waterfall Vista, you will enjoy the luxury touches this home provides. Your every need is answered with three full bedrooms, each featuring queen size beds, spacious decks, a gourmet kitchen, a separate dining area with a BBQ grill, a hot tub, an on-site creek with a large firepit, and of course, a beautiful waterfall! The fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops has an adjacent dining area that makes mealtimes a group affair. The living room features a large fireplace and flat-screen TV where you can watch movies with the entire family. Upstairs, you will also find the master bedroom, with a full-size bathroom as well as an additional half bathroom. The lower level is a quiet haven for guests with two more bedrooms and a full bath. Beautiful mountain getaway

Waterfall vista was perfect for my family of 5. We enjoyed the beautiful Mountain View, the relaxing hot tub and coziness of the cabin. The property was beautiful and in a perfect location for everything we wanted to do.

Wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at WaterFall Vista. The home was beautiful!. The mountain views and the sounds of waterfalls was perfect for a nature lover. It was quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect mountain get away.

Wonderful stay

Our family had a great stay at Waterfall Vista. The house was perfect with an upgraded cabin feel. The house had everything we needed. It was so clean and had wonderful updates without losing the mountain feel. The property was so pretty with waterfalls, flowers and a fantastic view of the mountains. The setting made me feel very relaxed. We loved it!!!

Beautiful Place

The place is beautiful. The view is amazing. I don't know who keeps the grounds maintained but they have put alot of effort into it. My entire family loved this cabin.

Amazing Cabin!

We couldn’t have had a better time at the waterfall vista! The cabin had any and everything you could need. Awesome views, beautifully decorated, completely stocked kitchen and plenty of space for everyone. And of course the hot tube as amazing as well. We all had a great time while visiting and are looking forward coming back again!

Honeymoon

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The cabin is absolutely amazing and the view from the porch is unbeatable. The cabin is stocked with great cooking items. Landscaping on the property is beautiful. This is a great walking area. It’s not a far drive for day excursions.

Relaxing stay

The house was just as advertised and if anything better in person than in pictures. You can tell a lot about a place by the quality of furniture, decor, etc. and this place was top notch. Every kitchen appliance you could think of as well. The location is close to everything (15-20 minutes), but is still really private. The only thing I could complain about at all and this is a stretch is that the grill could use a little TLC.

Loved this house

It was so wonderful to spend time in this enchanting place. The views from the house are spectacular. The house is clean and well kept. My favorite part is the sound of the waterfalls that run on the property. I read my books on the large porch swing with beautiful views of the garden and the mountains. The property also had a hot tub and a fire pit. Pictures just don't do it justice!

Gorgeous property

The attention to detail in this home is stunning!! immaculate !!everything you need in the kitchen is available. The views are unbelievable. isolated, peaceful, private .I love the gardens. This is an absolutely spectacular piece of property and definitely on our return list. You are literally on top of a mountain overlooking the Smokies in the distance. The customer service that we experienced with Chad was top notch. This is the second property that we have stayed at managed by Sundog -excellent management!

Best View

This house was more than amazing. We splurged and enjoyed a secluded and peaceful weekend getaway and were not disappointed. The view alone is worth a million! House was well kept, huge, and had all the amenities you would need. The pillows are amazing and beds were super comfy. Coffee on the back deck overlooking the mountain ranges was heavenly. WCU Family Surprised Nephew

The gravel road was a bit challenging. One of the cars got stuck. the men were able to shovel around the huge rocks in the road. The tv in master bedroom and family room would not come on. We used the dvd player in master bedroom. We gave up on the family room tv. The guys wanted to watch football but we had just sat thru 4 hrs at WCU. It worked out because the kids played twister n board games while we cooked and played card games. The home was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! This is the best place I have visited that made us feel like home. This owner had everything you could think of, all the way down to spices and seasons. I love this home and the beds were very comfortable! It had a beautiful touch also entering the pantry. She had the measurements of her kids heights marked on the door panel. It was very lovely.

More than we hoped for. Must be able to use stairs.

Great, wooded, private place to spend time with loved ones. Beautiful grounds. Comfortable, clean house. Nice, short walks, early mornings along gravel roads, with no cars. We did not use the lower sitting area due to mosquitoes this time of year, mid-June. Great kitchen. Kitchen tap had low water pressure for some reason, not so with any other faucets. Very quiet DW and garbage disposal! A dish drainer would be nice--we did not find such anywhere. Did have problems when boiling hot water poured into a couple mugs for tea resulted in cracked mugs and water on the counter, so a bit nervous using some of the mugs after that. Interior stairs rather steep (good handrail, step has latex-backed mats on each step that were not attached. ) with living area upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs. Exterior stairs, had matts attached to each step) easier, safer for the 80+ athletic individual in our party, who preferred using instead of interior stairs, who also appreciated staying in the upstairs bedroom with walk-in shower (no tub). Such made for easy access to kitchen and living area where we all enjoyed time together out on the upper deck, despite hot, humid weather. Downstairs tub shower--tub surface felt safe, no slip. AC appreciated. Good WiFi. We did not mind the short drive on curving gravel roads. This place was well worth the cost for our 3-night stay. Would stay again, should opportunity arise.

Stay at Waterfall Vista

We loved the home and the property. We needed a break from our busy lives in the city and this place was perfect. Loved the views and walking around the grounds. The home was so clean and perfectly decorated. I love to cook and it had a well equipped kitchen that was wonderful to cook in. Loved sitting in the hot tub and reading on the porch swing. One of the best rentals I have ever stayed at. Thanks for sharing your home.

Disappointed with Property Management Firm

Never received a response to this note via VRBO app so I guess I will post here: Wanted to directly express disappointment with the jacuzzi: it was soo dirty that it was unusable. Clearly has not had water changed in a long time. That was a disappointment to us as it was something my kids were very excited about.

Great Cabin

Great cabin and beautiful location. Unfortunately we were told a snow storm was expected and had to leave early still being charged for the extra nights. Driveway needs some work but I would definitely go back.

Quiet, Cozy Retreat

This stay was just what we needed for our weekend getaway. The views are amazing and the waterfalls make for the perfect background noise. We had such a great time exploring around the house, making s’mores, relaxing by the fireplace, and just enjoying unplugging for a bit. We definitely hope to stay here again.

Fantastic Long Weekend Stay

This rental was in a great spot for our trip to Western Carolina homecoming this year. Not far from the campus area but also close to the casino as well. Peaceful surroundings and awesome place overall. Only bad thing was we didn’t have reception for half of the trip and the wifi was spotty at times. But great stay and would forsure rent again.
