Looking for serenity, beauty, mountain views and spacious accommodations –look no further. Casita de Paz ( House of Peace) will be your getaway of choice. It’s situated on an acre of land with mountain views throughout the property.

The Space:
Our immaculate home features 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen to cook up your favorite meals, a dining room, stocked laundry room, work space, and little touches to ensure your stay is memorable.

We are conveniently located 5 miles away from Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs, minutes from mountain bike trails, hiking, fishing and a fantastic location for hunters. Want to venture further out—no worries, we are centrally located, take a day trip to Santa Fe, Jemez Springs, Enchanted Circle, Taos & many campgrounds.

If you get hungry and don’t want to cook check out Mesa Vista Café. The family owned restaurant serves up delicious and authentic New Mexican cuisine and you will receive a 10% discount, just let them know you are staying with us.
Take a moment to stargaze, it’s extraordinary—hundred of stars and the milky way are readily visible.

Great place!

We had a great time at Francis home. It is very close to Ojo Calient! We spent Christmas there and she had it set up and decorated for us so it's very nice! Quiet and pleasant. Just what we needed! Thank you!

My family had a trip to Ojo Caliente iover the year end vreak. We were very satisfied with the property offering decent space with three bedrooms and modern amenities located in a quiet countryside. Nearby hot springs at Ojo Caliente is only 12 min drive away. Thanks for a great stay.

Very nice house,

House is very well appointed,very , very clean…is a new construction. Everything is in good taste and very pleasant. The host, Francine must be the best in this business…she had supplied lots of goodies and above and beyond what is the norm in the kitchen…thank you so much… was a great experience and we can not wait to be back.

Darling, comfortable house. The area is a little remote, but close to Ojo Caliente. Good beds, well equipped kitchen. We would have liked an outdoor area to sit. Would definitely recommend!

Fun Friend Trip

Lovely house in Ojo Caliente

Friends and I stayed in this house for a wedding in Ojo Caliente. Frances was easy to communicate with and the house was lovely. We cooked meals - the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed (pots, pans, spices/seasonings). Furnishings were comfortable - and the area was quiet, except the occasional sheep and donkey next door. But they were fun to watch

Great house to have a relaxed getaway

Girls trip

We stayed at France’s beautiful house and enjoyed our stay with all the ladies in our family ages ranging from 20’s to 80’s. It was close proximity to Ojo Caliente. There is something I’d like to note. The listing says it sleeps 8 and I indicated there would be 8 of us but there are only 3 beds and a living space with couches. We packed an air mattress just in case and so glad we did. The beds are memory foam. The master bed seemed very hard for a few people. We also only had 6 towels for 8 people. I think this would be a great place for 5-6 people and maybe the listing had an error where it states it sleeps 8 people. I’m not sure if couches count as beds? Other than that, the house had everything we needed and we all made great memories.

Land of Many Uses, Few Lodgings ....

New, clean, Manufactured home with all the amenities in an area that has few (affordable) options for lodging -- (especially for more than 2 people). Host was very responsive, accommodating.

Fabulous girlfriend’s weekend

Ojo Caliente stay

The purpose of our trip was to go to ojo Caliente and maybe explore trails etc nearby. This home is incredible! There are so many extras in the large beautiful kitchen, you can make or bake anything and everything! The house was super clean, quiet area. The donkey next door greeted us when we pulled in. I wish I would have seen him again. So I could have video him! Frances is very responsive. Beautiful home Frances! We enjoyed our stay, and next time I'd like to stay a bit longer. My only comment would be outside furniture and yard maintenance to e joy the beautiful dark sky.

Beautiful modern home in a gorgeous peaceful mountain setting. The hosts are very accessisble and responsive to any questions. This area of NM is a must see and Francine will make your stay so comfortable. If I could give more that 5 starts I would!

Spacious Clean Girls Indoor Getaway

Plenty of room to relax indoors with a equipped spacious immaculate kitchen and master bed/bath conveniently located on a undeveloped remote windy road 15 minute drive to hot springs. Great for 3 people wanting their own bed. One of the 3 bedrooms had a twin bed. Landscaping around the house is rustic but has potential. Indoors has all the accurtraments such as laundry detergent, foot scrub and soft linens and towels. Plus high tech security system, heating, airconditoning and lights.
