Here you have end-of-the-road privacy and can enjoy the calming sounds of the neighboring creek. Two gas stacked stone fireplaces, multi-level decks, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, game room with billiards table, poker table, chess/checker table, and loft. Located in the gated river community of Coosawattee River Resort, you're close to shopping and restaurants, yet will feel like you're at a private retreat to recharge and enjoy nature.

We rented the cabin for a family getaway. Five adults and five kids and it was spacious and so much fun. The kids loved all the fireflys and deer! Highly recommend!!

Our stay at Cold Stream Cabin was amazing. The house is stocked well, the sleeping arrangements were perfect for our family. The added perk for our granddaughters was the loft to play in. The shared spaces were perfect for gathering and catching up with family, plus having three pools, the gym and other extras accessible was such an added perk. The home was clean and extremely comfortable. We highly recommend!

Clean, immaculate, family friendly for reunions and celebrations. The house is designed beautifully with special touches. 3 levels of space and entertainment. We spent 3 days and enjoyed the pools, creek, feeding deer, white water rafting in nearby Tennessee 1 hour away, and ziplining in Blueridge 30 minutes away. The host is wonderful and wanting to make your trip enjoyable! You will not go wrong with booking your family vacation at cold creek.

The host was very responsive to my messages. The cabin was perfect as advertised. Very clean and well cared for. It was very well stocked including kitchen and all bathrooms. The property was beautiful. The fish pond at the resort was great for catching fish with the kids. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to anyone for a fun family vacation.

Second time we stayed at this property. Not only was the place immaculate (again) but absolutely everything we could need was provided. Roomy and comfortable. No hassles, just vacation bliss. The hosts are very nice too. Look forward to booking again here next year.

A great place to get away for awhile

Property has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The ping-pong table was a hit for us, and we utilized the fire pit a few times. Including children there were 10 of us and we never felt crowded. We will book again.

Family Thanksgiving Trip

We absolutely loved this property. We mainly hung out at the cabin playing pool, games, sitting around the fire pit and watching wild life. It was a perfect place to spend time together. The owners have thought of everything you might need or want during your stay. I would recommend this property for your next vacation. We will stay there again.

Full Family Fun

What a great place to get away and enjoy family. We had 12 people including 5 little ones and a dog. There was plenty of room to join together for fun and also plenty of places to enjoy some quiet time. Beautiful secluded location but only minutes from restaurants nd stores. We will definitely be going back

First Time Visitors

We had an amazing trip! The cabin was clean and had all the supplies we needed for our stay. The basement was so much fun with all of the games. Our favorite part was hanging out by the fire pit roasting marshmallows. The owners are absolutely amazing. They answered all of our questions and made our stay one we will never forget! We are excited to go back next year!

Nice cabin for a family gathering

The property was spacious and well equipped and the owner was very accommodating. Unfortunately, through no fault of the property owner, with the drought, the stream was dried up and there was a fire ban, so no s’mores 😔. The cabin location is a bit remote with challenging roads, so better for those not wishing to dine out after dark.

We’ve rented many cabins in the Appalachians and great smoky ranges and this was by far the most well thought out from a guest experience perspective.It is generously stocked with everything you need and the things you didn’t realize you needed or wanted. What you need always seems to be within arm’s reach. Cold stream cabin is decorated like a family home and doesn’t feel “sterile” as some rentals tend to. My daughter loved the blackboard in her room and all the kids got a kick out of the loft hideaway.We played round-Robin ping pong tournaments, monopoly, and cards while enjoying great family time, great wine, and great food (the nice Weber grill and smoker made that easy).Ellijay is still a sleepy mountain town which I love. Some of these little towns have gotten too busy! Our family enjoyed nearby Gibbs Gardens, Fall Branch Falls, Tumbling Water Falls, a few other beautiful hikes, and the Chimp Project rescue. We’d love to return again to explore the area more.

Relaxing and serene location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this clean and beautiful property! Even though it rained for most of our stay (3 days) there was enough entertainment to occupy the entire family right there in the cabin - games, pool table, ping pong. Our 5 year old granddaughter was especially enamored with the chalkboard wall upstairs and our grandson (3 years old) loved counting the numerous vacuum cleaners and dust busters in the various closets. The adults enjoyed the basement area and the spacious living/kitchen area - the kitchen was very well-equipped and had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The bathrooms had plenty of towels, shampoo, lotions, etc. and were very clean - highly recommend this property - hostess very responsive and easy to work with!

Perfect weekend getaway for the family!

This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway with my grown kids. And we utilized almost every bit of the property. First of all the rooms and set up were perfect for eight adults. The beds were comfortable. The seating was comfortable for watching college football. We went to the rec and had a pickle ball tournament where we were informed about live music. We stayed up late playing poker at the game table. My youngest was able to convince her brother-in-law and dad to join her in a couple of games of chess. And the pool and ping pong tables were utilized as well. Everyone had a great time! And I cannot say enough about what a wonderful hostess Lynette was. Besides going above and beyond to have the house well-stocked with basics and necessities she had thoughtful touches throughout to show she goes the extra mile to make her guests feel welcome. And Lynette was very communicative and helpful. Wonderful place to stay!!!

We VRBO a lot and this was one of the best. Great communication and hospitality. Took my staff for a three day work retreat, and they have ask if we can return next year.

Great clean cabin with entertainment for family.

This was a spacious house with many things to keep everyone in the family entertained. The house was very clean and very well stocked. The owner, Lynette, responded to us right away when we contacted her and she even sent someone out to check up on a concern we had. This is definitely a great place to stay.

Incredible Cabin!

The cabin makes a great get a way for the whole family. We were reluctant to leave each day because we enjoyed the cabin so much. The owner did a great job of communicating and making sure we were comfortable.

And now that the children have grown, we wanted a fully stocked, wonderful place to meet and reconnect as a family.

When this property came on the market in the summer of 2021, we knew this was THE ONE!! And it has been everything we've hoped for! This 3 level home has room for our kids and their families, a beautiful, well equipped kitchen, space for the whole family to spread out or to come together for meals or games, feels private and secluded while still being minutes from dining and activities, and is a relaxing, beautiful place to travel too!

We love the location! It's close to orchards (Me to our kids: "Yes kids, apples really do grow on trees and not on grocery store shelves!!" Hahaha!), shopping, downtown, wineries, rivers, waterfalls, hiking, and the list goes on!
