Welcome to this charming cabin with tremendous views near Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Paved roads in this gated neighborhood lead you to this wonderful property boasting 4 cozy bedrooms - two with king beds, one with a queen bed, and a loft with 2 full beds. We have the same pillow top mattresses and super soft sheets here that we use at our home. With 2 bathrooms featuring a bathtub/shower in one and a shower in the other, guests will feel right at home. The lower level offers an additional hang out space with a sofa, 70" Smart TV, mini fridge and coffee station. Additionally, the washer/dryer and 6-person hot tub are on this level with a covered lower deck featuring a new gas fireplace and TV. A well-equipped kitchen provides most anything the chef in your group could need. Nestled in a tranquil setting surrounded by towering Poplar trees, this cabin provides a wonderful retreat for your getaway.
We fell in love with this cabin for the view and so will you. While there are smart TV's in both living areas for you to use your streaming services, you will find it difficult to take your eyes off of the mountains. A gas fireplace is great for those chilly evenings. Sitting at 2500 ft elevation the cabin is usually 8-10 degrees cooler than Ellijay. The kitchen is well equipped with new appliances and has a new gas grill on the upper deck.
The Walnut Mountain neighborhood provides lakes, hiking trails and tennis/pickleball courts. An Olympic sized pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Additional hiking as well as wineries and apple orchards are nearby
We manage our cabin personally so we can make sure our guests enjoy it as much as we do. Prior owner had 9.8 stars on over 30 reviews and we plan to improve on that.
While we are dog friendly, but we ask that they are not allowed on the beds.
We are a no smoking/vaping cabin as these smells are difficult to remove.

This place is HUGE. I had a minor issue when I checked in that was resolved promptly, and I had absolutely no issue contacting the host. Everything went very smoothly. There are enough amenities for a 2-3 day stay which was certainly a nice touch. The views are outstanding! We even used the neighborhood pool, and it was clean and everyone was really friendly. Just a note: No food is allowed in the pool area!This house sits on top of a ridge and you just can't beat the view!

Great Cabin

This cabin was recently refurbished and it shows! It is super clean inside with an almost new feel. The owners are very responsive and clearly take pride in their home. The cabin is convenient to Elijay and Blue Ridge and close to all sorts of hiking.

Great place for long weekend getaway for 3 generations. House as pictured. Great views. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Comfortable beds. Boating on carters lake great fun. Jeff was great host-welcoming and responsive to my few inquiries. Recommend this house.

Wonderful Christmas Week Family Getaway

Had a wonderful visit in Ellijay with my family. The house is very cozy and comfortable. The finished lower level is great also as it has another bedroom and full bath plus a second living room/family room. We loved the gas fireplace. The house has a hot tub also! My adult children enjoyed the quaint towns of Ellijay, Jasper, Blue Ridge. Great restaurants and shopping. Five Star! Plan your visit!

Cozy Cabin with Great Views

My husband, daughter, SIL, son and fur babies spent 3 nights here leading into 2025 and we had the best time. Spent a day in Blue Ridge & had dinner in Elijay. Communications with the host was fantastic from start to finish and very easy to work with. Only reason for the 4-star on cleanliness is due to finding several pieces of wrapping paper in visible places that were probably just overlooked or missed by cleaning crew. All other areas baths, kitchen, linens, etc were clean and sanitized. We all agreed that we would definitely stay again, maybe in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoors a little more. Thank you for sharing your cabin with our family!

The inside was beautiful and the kids loved the loft area. Very cozy spot with great views! I appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was with gear. We love to cook and they had everything we needed! We spotted a lot of wildlife during our short stay including deer, bears and possums. Overall the place was very clean. The downstairs patio furniture was covered in thick dust, though. We swept it which only took a few minutes but I will say that was an outlier.The only real oddity to be aware of is there's one bathroom on the main floor which you travel through to get to one of the bedrooms. The door between the bedroom and bathroom itself doesn't lock so any guests who use the main floor bathroom while you're sleeping can only lock one door. I also couldn't access my room if someone was showering in there. A second bathroom is downstairs but something to consider when planning sleeping arrangements.Host was very friendly and responsive. Answered all of our questions and had good infirnation provided on site. Plus a cabinet of free books! We had fun looking through those. Absolutely would stay here again.
