Wedding

Our stay was wonderful the house bedrooms and bathrooms were wonderfully accommodating for our large family. Which allowed us to be together yet also have privacy. The kitchen was wonderful as well for meal prep. We enjoyed our stay.

Family accommodations

We chose to stay at a property like this instead of a hotel so it would be more like a family atmosphere. Everything was perfect. Large house many bathrooms house was very accommodating updated kitchen I can't say enough. Perfect place. They also have smaller properties on site you can inquire about.

Great location in historic property

I couldn’t get over how old the house we stayed in was and all the history that exists there. The host was always prompt with anything that may have needed attention.

Great property

Charming historical home located in the heart of Wilson. Beautiful period furnishings. Good ambiance. Highly recommend particularly if you have a large number of people that need accommodations.

Charming!

Loved staying in this historic home with all of its fun details! Easy communication with the host and clear check in/check out process. It could use a clean out/organization of personal belongings but it met all our needs and the beds were comfy. Loved the albums that included a little of the house's history. We would stay here again and recommend it to others!

Wonderful stay in Wilson

This home has everything you need for a weekend away with friends. Our Bible study group had entered of roo.s and we all hD our own bathroom. The kitchen allowed for group food preparation and the dining room held us all. 2 spacious porches , we set out until midnight each night laughing and talking. If you are looking for a large gathering place for 5 couples or a large family this is the home for you. Walking distance to western sizzler and several different churches. Less than a mile from historic Wilson and the whirlgig park. Owner was just a text away and answered within mi minutes.

Not impressed

When we arrived there was water pouring from a pipe into the basement. I called the owner and he said he was aware of the situation and working on getting it fixed the following week. We were never told about this before arriving which would have been nice. The house was also not cleaned. When we walked through the house the bottoms of our feet were black. I expressed my concerns to the owner and he said he would talk to his cleaning crew about it. The pictures make the house look much nicer than it is.

We Loved Our Time in this Historical Home

We visited the area to take part in my Sister's memorial service. Coming back each day to this beautiful house was so very special. The interior decor is so beautiful. It's like stepping back in time! The beds were lush and the house was clean. There was a faint sweet smell all about but I never could figure out where it was coming from! We loved being there and have found our home away from home when we visit that area! Thank You so much for making this remarkable Historical Home available! ~S

Barton College Homecoming

The house was beautiful and perfect. It was within walking distance of campus and downtown. A perfect place to stay! Necho was a great host. We will definitely being staying there again. There were 11 of us and so much room you never feel crowded. Huge kitchen, since that's where we seemed to gather. Nice little outdoor area to hangout. And it was so peaceful. Definitely recommend!
