New Year’s Recharge

Property exactly as advertised- outstanding view of Great Waters Goof Course and Lake Oconee. Wanted a quiet New Year’s week and the home and neighborhood were perfect to enjoy relaxation, exercise, cook our own meals and recharge.

Beautiful view, clean comfortable cottage

Absolutely beautiful view. Very quiet and clean. Comfortable beds and living area, equipped kitchen. We used the Great Waters access pass to drive through the Reynolds area as well (never been) to get an idea of the entire Reynolds area around the Lake. The cottage area was much quieter than the other areas.

Location and view were beautiful. Could have been cleaned better. Noticed cat litter and fur in the home. As well as a few cockroaches. I know this problem is common in warmer climates. Overall we had a great experience and was a great neighborhood to stay

Spectacular Cottage on Lake Oconee

Our stay at Birdie's Nest was fantastic. The description provided by the owner was spot on, and we couldn't have asked for a better getaway. As soon as we walked in the front door, we were captivated by the stunning views of Lake Oconee and the 9th hole of the golf course. The large windows on the first floor let us view the beautiful landscape from the living and dining rooms and kitchen. The property itself was spotless and appeared almost brand new. The modern design and decor added a touch of luxury to our stay. The two master bedrooms, both with king beds, were incredibly comfortable. The living room was a cozy yet spacious area for our family to gather. Upstairs, the two Queen beds and additional bathroom were perfect for the kids, giving everyone their own space. We loved spending time on the screened porch relaxing and eating. In summary, Birdie's Nest exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of cleanliness, modern amenities, and stunning views made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this property for anyone seeking a relaxing and luxurious getaway at Lake Oconee. The owners were highly responsive to our questions before and during our stay.

Great home with great views!!

This place was so comfortable and clean. I was a little concerned when reading reviews about garbage and learned that this issue is now fixed. Everything was perfect for our stay.

Perfect weekend retreat

Birdie’s Nest was the perfect place for us to catch up with our college kids over Labor Day weekend! The living room and back porch provided a beautiful view of the water morning and night.

Perfect Getaway for 4th of July

Location was superb, great views of lake & golf course - fireworks were right out our back door on 4th of July. Golf course and Lake Oconee were busy and fun. Clubhouse was an easy walk. Cottage was clean and beds were comfortable

Serenity and beauty

This place does not disappoint. A gorgeous, setting, a beautiful home, and a tranquil environment to relax, watch, golfers, watch, boaters, or just enjoy the area. If you have the opportunity to rent this house, do it.

Awesome View and Location!

Everything was great. Check-in was a breeze. We never had to contact property manager. Watched the sun rise over the lake while listening to birds chirping every morning. Got to hear a band playing at Great Waters club for memorial day weekend while relaxing on deck. Everything was as good as it could be. I picked it for the view and it didn't disappoint. Highly recomend this cottage.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We attended for a wedding and were so happy with the accomodation. Clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable and porch was a perfect view.

Great house and view

Great property on the gol& course with a nice view of the lake. Havin to take the trash to a dump site seemed a bit odd and there were houses on th3 street with trash cans out to be picked up. Overall a very nice stay.

Great Waters was Great

The house was all as advertised and more. Great location to everything. Rooms were spacious with bathroom in each. We stayed for golf trip and it was perfect. Great view of lake from back porch and an easy place to relax. Would definitely stay there again.

There were roaches in the kitchen. Porch fan worked on and off and was very noisy on very hot days. Taking the trash to the dump about 2 miles down was very hard and inconvenient.
