We stayed several nights and while there were no major issues, the cabin felt mediocre overall, kind of like house-sitting for a grandparent. It hasn't been updated in a while and could use some TLC.A few things worth knowing: the door shades don't function, and the living room ceiling fan switch was taped over and inoperable. The fan's light fixture also had four mismatched bulbs, a small thing, but it summed up the general lack of attention to detail. We noticed cobwebs and a mildew smell throughout. The oven works but is quite small, and the water heater has a small capacity, so this cabin is best suited for two guests rather than a larger group.Worth noting for privacy: the walls are thin, and the sofa bed shares a wall with the king bedroom, so anyone sleeping in the living room will hear plenty. The screened porch is a nice feature, but the neighboring cabin has some visibility onto it, so it's not very private either. On location: the road up to the cabin is rough gravel, so vehicles with low ground clearance may struggle. It's not a convenient spot, and grocery options nearby are very limited, so come prepared. That said, if you want seclusion, this place delivers on that front.Overall, a serviceable cabin, but these details are worth knowing when deciding if it's right for your group.
