Great stay

This is the second time we’ve come to this location, nice and quiet but a safe area, house is well kept and cozy.

Christmas Stay

We have stayed at this property several times now and have always had a good experience, but this stay was made special because the host went out of their way to ensure we had some Christmas decorations in the home for our stay.

Our stay in Kings Mountain

The Host's was always there for any questions you may have about dining . The main thing to us it was very clean. Great restaurants within 15 minutes from the house!!!! I would highly recommend to stay here!!!

Great place to enjoy the outdoors!

We really enjoyed utilizing the decks for morning coffee and cooking out in the evening. We hiked Crowder Mountain which was amazing. It was nice to hear the waterfall from the yard and hear the birds in the morning.

Beautiful setting

Clean and comfortable place. We loved the large yard, the mountain views and especially the waterfall that runs beside the home.

2nd Time Staying Here

Love it enough to come back perfectly positioned. Casino less than 12 miles away and just about every kind of store/retail imaginable within a 20 minute drive. House cools quickly and was comfortable this time around, will def bw staying again. Also the waterfall is Amazing!

Quiet getaway spot

Perfect small home for a quiet getaway. Excellent communication with owners. Far enough away from town to enjoy the peace and quiet. But close enough to easily get to restaurants or grocery.

Nice area

The house is exactly as shown in the pictures. We had a great stay, it was close to things that we were interested in. Bobby was very quick to answer any questions that we had. We would stay again if we are in the area.

Great second stay

This was our second time staying at this property and once again it did not disappoint. The hosts are friendly and responsive and the house is clean and quaint. The fridge was stocked with water, there were breakfast treats and snacks to welcome us, and there was coffee for the Kuerig. We will continue to stay at this property when we are in the area!

Location is perfect!

Lovely secluded property. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the great communication with our hosts. Their recommendations for restaurants were great. Dino's in Bessemer City was delicious! We enjoyed Crowders Mountain State Park which is very close by. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness only because was there was pet hair on the sofa and chair in living room and we were not traveling with a pet. We would definitely stay there again.

Falling Water Feature

Host was gracious in communications, had some beautiful fresh muffins and goodies waiting for us, and the location was quiet and close to our events. We hope to revisit in the future.

Very pleasant home and host

The property was exactly as described. There was a beautiful view of crowder’s mountain across the golf course, and also a lovely rock bridge with waterfall and creek directly beside the property which was a great surprise. The hosts were very quick to respond and extremely helpful even making one house call during our stay. Would definitely recommend this property!

Ideal weekend spot!

We had a wonderful weekend away in Kathy's place-- the house was spotless with a very tasty basket of snacks and beautiful screened in porch, the surrounding property had a lovely little waterfall and stream that our dog could not get enough of, and town was a very reasonable drive away so that it felt like we were remote but had access to everything (including DoorDash!). Sadly it rained most of the time we were there, so opted for a cozy time in instead of hiking at Crowder's, but we had no complaints about staying in!

Enjoyed our stay

Conveniently located to Crowders mountain. No immediate neighbors aside from a church. Nice little cottage setting. Screened porch was nice to watch the fire flies. We even saw some deer passing through. There is a little waterfall adjacent to the property. It’s close to a busy street so you do hear street traffic sitting out on the porch. I appreciated the level yard to walk our dogs.

Peaceful

Very peaceful and quiet. Rained the whole time but the sound of the rushing water from the waterful made the whole trip worth it. Beautiful mountain scenery. The home is well maintained and clean. The hosts were absolutely wonderful and accommodating. The internet is blazing fast and the water as hot as you can stand. Would definitely come back again.
