We enjoyed the vicinity to the Belmont square. The house was small, comfortable and had all necessary items for a long stay.

The home was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. We could see the owner planned carefully for guests. Communication with the owner was non-existent. All communications went through a terribly ineffective MyTripify program that made interaction with the owner impossible.

Conveniently located to downtown Belmont and the interstate. We stayed at the home for 34 nights. The neighbors were quiet and the area is very walkable. You should know there is a highly traveled 4 lane street just 1 house away and the train passes through at all hours (day/night) so you will have noise. The beds are not that comfortable, they are very, very firm. The house had the basic essentials for cooking and was clean inside upon arrival. Host responded promptly to request to have the grass mowed and they have a trash service who takes the bins to the road for pick up and brings them back after service. Overall the home met our needs.

Perfect Hideaway In Downtown Belmont

Perfect little getaway for the wife and I. Check-in process was simple and the property was immaculate. Ryley was a pleasure to deal with, we will definitely stay here again.

This cottage was great. Would rent it again. Perfect for us and close to downtown Belmont. Easy 5 minute walk. Very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The host, Ryley Beaumont, was great. Answered all our questions and made the booking, check-in and check out smooth.

Business trip

This was the perfect place and location for our business trip. We each had our own room and bath and plenty of space. It was in walking distance to downtown Belmont and to the office. Ryley, was great to communicate with. Highly recommend this rental.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very quiet Belmont Bungalow! This little gem was as charming as detailed in the posting. Clean and well stocked to meet all our needs.Truly within short walking distance to the Christmas decorated downtown Belmont area where we found quaint shops and restaurants to visit. Grocery stores within minutes. Also a short drive to McAdenville, NC where we enjoyed the town wide Christmas light display. A must see! Host was amazing to work with, communications were prompt and informative. We will plan to stay again with this Host while in Belmont. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

Location saved this from a one star review

Pros: Location. Easy walk to downtown. Cons: Unappealing, dirty porch. Inside was tidy but not necessarily clean. Dust, dead insects. House had that feel that it hadn't been occupied in quite a while. Cookware was unusable due to scratched and chipped non-stick (health hazard). No internet for two days, I was actually asked to be available for a Spectrum rep. That wasn't happening. Thermostat reset itself from 74 to FIFTY degrees in the middle of the first few nights, the house temp at 6 a.m. was 64. In July. In North Caroline. I was able to fix that issue after the property manager (nice guy) couldn't figure it out. The last straw was the promised compensation for the inconveniences that never showed up despite repeated requests that were answered with "I'll check on that."

I would like to address a few points: Internet Issues: The initial problem with the internet was due to using an incorrect password, despite the correct one being provided. Once resolved, there was an additional delay due to a Spectrum outage, which we worked to address as quickly as possible. Cleanliness and Cookware: We maintain high standards for cleanliness and have not received similar complaints from other guests. The next guests did not report any issues with the cookware, and our post-departure inspection found the pots to be in good condition. Thermostat Issue: We appreciate your initiative in resolving the thermostat problem. We are reviewing our procedures to ensure that such issues are handled more efficiently in the future. Pillow Protectors: After your stay, we discovered that all the pillow protectors were missing. This is a concern as these items are essential for maintaining hygiene standards. Refund: The refund has been processed, though it may take a few days to appear in your account. We appreciate your patience regarding this matter.
